You will need:

Thin wire

Hot glue gun

Acrylic paint

1. Cut the wire into several pieces of different lengths. In this example, their length varies from 10 to 40 cm. Bend each piece in half.

2. Heat the glue and carefully cover all the pieces of wire with it.

3. Select the color you want to paint the coral in in this case red. Use acrylic paint to paint the glue on the wires.

4. When the paint is dry, you can assemble all the parts into one coral. Take 2-3 pieces of wire with glue and connect them together using another thin, clean wire (not covered with glue).

Add 2 more parts to the structure and connect them again with clean wire.

In order for the coral to stand on a flat surface, all ends of the clean wires must be twisted and bent into the shape of a stand (see image).

Making white coral

1. Cut 3 pieces of wire, each between 30 and 35 cm long, and twist their ends together.

You will need:

Small glass vase or glass

Hot glue gun

Aerosol or acrylic paint

Spray oil or simple vegetable oil.

It is advisable to choose a wide vase so that the heat from the candle inside does not heat the glue, which may leak.

1. Wash and dry the vase, then wipe it with vegetable oil and a paper napkin.

2. Start applying hot glue to reverse side the bottom of the vase, drawing patterns with it. The main thing is that all the lines intertwine well so that it is easier to remove the glue from the vase.

Continue drawing patterns with glue on the sides of the vase.

It is advisable to wear glasses to protect your eyes, as the glue will heat the glass.

3. Once the glue has dried, carefully begin to separate the design from the vase. You may need to use a screwdriver, knife, or other tool to make it easier to separate the design from the glass vase.

4. Clean the vase from any remaining glue. Use dishwashing detergent.

Hang items on the wall without damaging it

First, place a strip of tape where you want on the wall, and then use a hot glue gun to attach any pictures, posters, or other items that aren't worth drilling into the wall. When you get tired of it, just tear off a piece of tape from the wall. This is especially true for brick walls.

Create step shoes in seconds

Do anti-slip underlayer for carpets

Decorate crafts with homemade beads

Make "beads" of glue by dripping onto a non-adhesive surface, such as a silicone baking mat, casting surface, or parchment paper. Movements must be smooth so that the glue lays evenly. When the items are dry, separate them from the tray and touch up the bottom with nail polish or acrylic paints.

Note: If you are using a silicone surface, be careful not to touch the mat itself with the gun - the silicone will begin to melt.

Make frames hang straight

Not only does the hot glue hold the frame in place, it also helps move it away from the wall, which also creates a more even look.

Add texture to your crafts by drawing on the design with glue and then covering it with paint

Hot glue is suitable for designing any surface - canvas, eggs, wood, bottles, vases, etc.

Create mini substitutes hot glue gun - matches

Apply a little glue near the burning tip of the match. If you're in a hurry and need to patch something up quickly, light a match and let the flame heat up the glue on the stick.

Then put out the flame and distribute the glue where you need it - in place of fallen buttons or for fixing something on a hike, for example.

Note: don't forget to put something , otherwise you will get dirty work surface. Point the gun at the back of the envelope and seal it. Do not touch until dry and hardened.

I think many who work with hot melt adhesive end up with pieces, trimmings, and waste hot melt adhesive rods. We have to throw them away, but new rods cost money. With this simple device, you can save money and put glue waste to use.

I saw a comment about a USB glue gun in a group contact, someone asked me to figure out how to collect used glue into sticks. I decided to implement the idea)

Video recording step-by-step assembly and operation of the device for familiarization.

We will need:
1. Some parts from a soldering iron from a fixed price for 60 rubles.
1.1. Nichrome wire
1.2. Metal part of the body in the shape of a tube
1.3. Fiberglass
1.4. 3 screws
2. 2 copper wires
3. Soda can
4. Medium density foil (can also be used for baking in the oven)
5.USB cable
6. Electrical tape
7. Wooden plate (cardboard from large boxes can also be used)
8. Power supply 5V 2A

From the tools:
1. Pliers
2. Scissors
3. Screwdriver

Step 1.
We disassemble the soldering iron and leave the nichrome wire (it’s better to take another one, this one is not of high quality), a metal tube and fiberglass.

Step 2.
We wind the fiberglass fabric around the tube as shown in the photo and wind several turns of nichrome wire on top (four is enough) and fix it at the edges with two pieces of the same wire so that it is taut.

Step 3.
We take a flat wooden board (4cm x 7cm) or thick cardboard and fix a metal tube on it with three screws, as shown in the photo.

Step 4.
We attach the USB plug to the board with electrical tape (you can also use hot glue) and screw the wires to the nichrome wire.

Step 5.
Initially, the metal tube is 10mm in diameter, and we need to get 7mm rods. We cut a plate 8cm long and 5cm wide from an aluminum can and roll it into a tube, placing a hot melt glue rod inside. At one end we cut off the tube, leaving a small tongue by which we can pull it out if necessary. This tube is necessary to reduce the diameter of the hole and prevent deformation of the foil mold.

Step 6.
We insert the resulting tube all the way into the previously prepared structure, as shown in the photo.

Step 7
Take foil 10cm long and 7cm wide and roll it into a tube, placing a hot melt glue rod inside. This will be our mold for melting down the hot melt pieces. One end of the resulting tube must be bent well so that the molten glue does not stick to the board and does not spread at the bottom of the metal tube.

Step 8
We insert the mold for remelting into the resulting structure until it stops. And you can start melting.

We cut the remaining pieces of hot glue so that they fit into the tube. We throw them inside and connect the device to power.

The process of melting one 10cm rod lasts no more than 2-3 minutes. And the entire processing process from heating the device to cooling the mold with remelted glue takes 5-6 minutes.

During the melting process, you need to lightly compact the pieces of glue in the tube so that the rod turns out to be solid and with the least amount of bubbles inside.

The resulting rods are identical in diameter (7mm) to the new ones.
