There is also evidence that TOT actually lived in Ancient Egypt under the nickname “Chronicle.” He wrote down everything that happened, rarely spoke or acted (except when his actions were “indicated” from Heaven). He never interfered, never uttered a single word. He was absolutely silent - and just watched! /When Greece was born “through” Pythagoras, the Sage THOTH “entered” this culture in the same body that he had in the time of Atlantis, and “was called” HERMES./
Among the Monuments of Sacred Antiquity that have come down to us, created under the direct leadership of God TOTH, are the Great Pyramid, erroneously “attributed” to a certain He-ops, and the Great Sphinx (both monuments in Egypt, the Giza plateau), as well as alphabets, languages and writing of all countries and all peoples of the Earth.

The religion of the ancient Egyptians (and, partly, the Atlanteans themselves - the predecessors and “mentors” of Ancient Egypt, the “Land of Khem”) was set forth in their “Holy Scriptures” - in the 42 Books of TOTA (these Scriptures were called “Forty-Two Books” TOTA").
The scientist Donald Beman, now living in Boston, tried to recreate these Scriptures. /In total, they say, there were 42 books + 2 more books, separated from the main Scripture. Traditions say that the lost Books of THOT HERMES Trismegistus were allegedly found in the 1st century AD. the magician Apollonius of Tyana, and in the 4th century AD. they mysteriously fell into the hands of the priest and physician Sergius Ris-Ain, who translated the texts from ancient Syriac into Arabic. There is information that the most secret of the “Emerald Tablets” - the famous “Emerald Tablet of HERMES Trismegistus” - was buried along with the body of HERMES in the Hebra Valley. After many centuries, they say, this “Emerald” was excavated (according to one version - by Arab Initiates, according to another - by Alexander the Great), and the mysterious “names” of the Thrice Great HERMES were engraved on it (13 sentences in total). For many centuries, people believed that the author of this “Emerald Tablet of HERMES Trismegistus” was... a biblical character named Ham (one of the sons of Noah). 10 Main Gods of Ancient Egypt
Amat- a terrible monster with the body and front legs of a lioness, the hind legs of a hippopotamus and the head of a crocodile. It lived in the fiery lake of the underground kingdom of the dead (Duat) and devoured the souls of the dead, who were recognized as unrighteous at the trial of Osiris.
Apis- a black bull with special markings on its skin and forehead, which was worshiped in Memphis and throughout Egypt as the living embodiment of the gods Ptah or Osiris. The living Apis was kept in a special room - Apeion, and the deceased was solemnly buried in the Serapeum necropolis.
Apophis (Apophis)- a huge snake, the personification of chaos, darkness and evil. He lives in the underworld, where every day after sunset the sun god Ra descends. Apep rushes onto Ra's barge to swallow it. The sun and its defenders wage a nightly battle with Apep. The ancient Egyptians also explained solar eclipses as an attempt by the serpent to devour Ra.
Aten- the god of the solar disk (or, rather, sunlight), mentioned back in the Middle Kingdom and proclaimed the main god of Egypt during the religious reform of Pharaoh Akhenaten. Unlike most other representatives of the local pantheon, he was depicted not in a “bestial-human” form, but in the form of a solar circle or ball, from which arms with palms extended towards the earth and people. The meaning of Akhenaten’s reform, apparently, was the transition from a concrete-figurative religion to a philosophical-abstract one. It was accompanied by severe persecution of adherents of former beliefs and was canceled shortly after the death of its initiator.
Atum- the solar god revered in Heliopolis, who created himself from the original chaotic Ocean of Nun. In the middle of this Ocean arose the primordial hill of the earth, from which all the land originated. Having resorted to masturbation, spitting out his own seed, Atum created the first divine couple - the god Shu and the goddess Tefnut, from whom the rest of the Ennead descended (see below). In archaic antiquity, Atum was the main solar god of Heliopolis, but later he was relegated to the background by Ra. Atum began to be revered only as a symbol coming in sun.
Bastet- cat goddess from the city of Bubastis. She personified love, feminine beauty, fertility, and fun. Very close in religious meaning to the goddess Hathor, with whom she was often united.

Maat- goddess of universal truth and justice, patroness of moral principles and firm legality. She was depicted as a woman with an ostrich feather on her head. Mertseger (Meritseger)- goddess of the dead in Thebes. She was depicted as a snake or a woman with a snake's head.
Meskhenet- the goddess of childbirth, who enjoyed special honor in the city of Abydos.
Min- a god revered as the giver of life and fertility in the city of Koptos. He was depicted in an ithyphallic form (with pronounced male sexual characteristics). The worship of Min was widespread in the early period of Egyptian history, but then he receded into the background in front of his own local Theban variety - Amun.
Mnevis- a black bull that was worshiped as a god in Heliopolis. Reminiscent of Memphis Apis.
Renenutet- a goddess revered in the Fayum as the patroness of harvests. Depicted as a cobra. The grain god Nepri was considered her son.
Sebek- the crocodile-shaped god of the Fayum oasis, where there was a large lake. His functions included managing the water kingdom and ensuring earthly fertility. Seshat- goddess of writing and accounting, patroness of scribes. Sister or daughter of the god Thoth. Origin
It is believed that the cult of Thoth originated in the city of Shmun (Eshmunen), which the Greeks called Hermopolis, because they considered this god to be an analogue of Hermes. Initially, the hare was revered there, then various animals, such as baboon, snake, and frogs.
Subsequently, of all these sacred animals, only the baboon remained, which began to be associated with Thoth, a recently appeared deity. The baboon was a very smart animal - probably the most intelligent of those that were found within Egypt.
Another sacred animal included in the iconography is the ibis. Thoth was depicted as a man with his head. The ibis was praised for announcing the flood of the Nile and eating poisonous snakes.
The Pyramid Texts indicate that Thoth was an assistant to the deceased pharaohs in the afterlife. However, it remains unclear exactly what functions he performed in this case. In one early interpretation, Thoth was considered to be the left eye of Horus, damaged during the battle with Set. Then he developed into an independent god, allegedly born of Ra himself. Thoth was also revered as the “language of Ptah.”

Europeans owe the flowering of philosophy and science in the modern sense of the word to him. The fact is that the oldest of the ancient scientists and philosophers, Thales of Miletus, a Phoenician by nationality, literally brought the first scientific information from Egypt, where he studied with the priests for many years.
Thoth is one of the deities of the ancient Egyptian “logos”, since he, like Ptah, created the whole world with his word.
Astronomical aspect
Thoth in early ideas was also the god of the moon. He even had the nickname “Silver Aten”. Thus, Thoth was closely associated with astronomical observations and astrology. Based on this, he was transformed into the patron of wisdom and magic, and the “lunar” function itself passed to Khonsu, one of the sons of Amun.

In the image of the ibis, Thoth, in later times, when his cult flourished, participated in a new version of the creation myth. He, in the guise of this bird, laid an egg from which Ra emerged. Subsequently, when the connection of the myth with Thoth was lost, a new interpretation appeared: Ra is born from a golden egg laid by a goose.
Inventor of time
He was revered as the inventor of time - almost literally. It was he who divided time into months and years, and also added five more days to the 360 days of the year. On these five days Osiris, Set, Horus, Isis and Nephthys were born. According to one of the stories, Thoth won these days at dice. Another story tells that the goddess Nut was forbidden to give birth during all 360 days of the year, and when Thoth introduced five more, the ban did not apply to them, as a result of which she gave birth to the above-mentioned gods.
Thoth, pharaohs and scribes
The name Thoth (Djehuti) was part of the royal names. This, for example, is Djehuti - the pharaoh of the 16th dynasty, Thutmose the First, Second, Third and Fourth; The name Thutmose was also borne by the son of Amenhotep III and the famous sculptor who worked at the court of Akhenaten. There is a version according to which the later appearance of Thoth was influenced by the scribe of one of the pharaohs, Thutmose, whose character traits were subsequently transferred to the god.
Thoth and Hermes
The ancient Greeks had a woman, Athena, as their goddess of wisdom. Therefore, they began to identify Thoth with Hermes, the god of trade. As a result of this, Hermes began to be assigned functions that he had not previously had - the patronage of wisdom, science, and magic. Subsequently, the image of Hermes Trismegistus appeared in European mythology, which, despite the name, was created on the basis of the Egyptian Thoth.
Human consciousness follows strange paths. Sometimes similar in different cultures, sometimes unique and highly original. Who would explain why and where the idea came from that long-billed ibises could be associated with counting and wisdom? And not those ibises that are now called “sacred” (Threskiornis aethiopicus), but those that are “forest” (Geronticus eremita). They are naked-headed and look like vultures! On the other hand, maybe this hypothetical involvement in death turned out to be the stone that formed the basis of their veneration? In the Predynastic era, Thoth was revered as the deity of the Moon. By the Early Dynastic period he had acquired the functions of a deity of writing. In the Pyramid Texts he is associated with the afterlife cult - in the guise of an ibis, he transports the dead to the Duat, the Egyptian space of the dead. Towards the end of the Old Kingdom, after the rise of the cult of Ra*, Thoth was included in the circle of ideas associated with the veneration of the Sun. During the Middle Kingdom, Thoth became the judge of the dead and acquired the functions of the deity of time and medicine.
