For those who don't know how to knit. Hand knitting without knitting needles. For those who do not know how to knit How to knit a scarf by hand in 30 minutes

My “calling card” is candles, angels and roses in any form. This time the angels “fall away”, only candles and roses remain. Maybe I should decoupage the candles with roses, flowers and ornaments, taking into account the tastes of each of my friends?

By the way, on this New Year This was my first time giving candles decorated with decoupage, and my friends were absolutely delighted. Only, as it turned out later, all of them, as one, did not “set fire” to these candles, but placed them as an addition to the interior, explaining that “it’s a pity to burn such beauty.” Well, I took it into account... Now, for gifts for girls’ “get-togethers”, I will make a “common” candle and “light” it. A candle decorated with decoupage burns very beautifully. Checked!

I wrote about how the principle of decoupage for a “spring” candle is, in general, the same, but still “adjusted for the wind.” In this post I will focus on the following:

What colors and materials do I prefer in the decor-decoupage of a “spring” candle;

Features of my choice of motif for decoupage;

Experience decoupaging a candle with a hairdryer.

What colors and materials do I prefer in the decoupage decor of a “spring” candle?

Besides satin ribbons pastel shades (for the final “touches”) and sponges for applying paint, I use acrylic contours, which I’ll talk about below.

1. The candle itself, of course, only white: otherwise our motive will not be visible.

2. The background color can be any. It depends on the taste and vision of the final result. I prefer white pearlescent. Why? In my opinion, it is very delicate and feminine, and the end result is exactly what you need. White mother-of-pearl beautifully sets off and complements any floral motif and ornament, and will not “argue” with them. From own experience work with various materials I would highlight the contour from "Maymeri" for stained glass windows. Beautiful shade, dries quickly, pleasant to work with.

3. Based on color range on our floral motif, you can “walk” the contours along the lines defined on it. I prefer to emphasize these lines and shadows with an outline of a beautiful golden shade from Marabou for stained glass. Without fanaticism! That's all.

Features of my choice of motif for decoupage of a “spring” candle. I admit, from my fairly large reserves of napkins with floral motifs and ornaments, I selected only three. Why? The choice is connected only with the fact that I associate spring, its beginning, its arrival with something very gentle and light, similar to awakening from a dream. In my opinion, there cannot be rich colors, lines, or splendor here. That is why I chose the following motifs: delicate pastel colors, light patterns, and a bouquet of exclusively spring flowers.

However, let us remember that each of us has our own ideas about this amazing state of nature. And probably your associations are completely different. Therefore, follow your feelings and choose the motifs and colors that suit you!

My experience of decoupaging a candle with a hairdryer.

I recently learned about this method, it seemed very simple to me, and I really wanted to try it. The instructions for decoupaging a candle with a hairdryer are as follows:

Press the selected motif for decoupage tightly onto a white candle using wax paper.

Blow the motif through wax paper with a not very hot stream of air from a hairdryer

As a result, the motif should “appear” through the wax paper. This is a sign that it has stuck.

We remove the wax paper and see that the motif has “grabbed” perfectly. Let the candle cool. That's all!

That's what the instructions said.

I found it incredibly simple. However, in practice, following these simple instructions, I personally encountered unexpected situations that were not mentioned in the manual. I share my impressions and results about decoupaging a candle with a hairdryer. I will be glad if they turn out to be useful to you.

So, I tried to make all the presented candles this way.

I didn’t try to film the process, but realizing that there were certain “exciting” moments, I made another candle, using the example of which I will show decoupage with a hairdryer with its “pros” and “cons.”

Step 1 Press the selected motif tightly with wax paper and begin to blow warm air from a hair dryer.

Impression. So I did. My hairdryer is quite powerful (2100 W). But this was clearly not enough for quick gluing. The motif was glued on immediately. I had to blow it for a long time. My hands burned. Therefore, it is better to wrap a cloth around the wax paper behind the candle, protecting your hands and, pressing tightly, continue to patiently blow.

Step 2 We wait for the promised “manifestation” of the motif through wax paper.

Impression.Indeed, the motive “manifested itself.” Glued almost perfectly evenly. But the hairdryer blows unevenly (or I don’t know how to do it evenly yet) and you need to take into account that in some places the motif “did not catch.” These places are the contours of the motif and the folds of the candle. I honestly tried to finish it with a hairdryer, but alas, it didn’t work out again... So I had to finish it using the well-known “hot spoon” method.

Here are my “blunts” corrected with a “hot spoon”.

Step 3. We make the mother-of-pearl background using an acrylic contour using the artistic and chaotic “chpok” method.

At the same time, we begin to “smack” the petals of the flower, capturing them lightly with paint.

Everything dries within 15-20 minutes. We tie a suitable ribbon.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED

Well, what can I say? I will most likely use a hair dryer to decoupage the candle. It turns out smooth, but old fighting girlfriend I will still keep the “hot spoon” on hand for gluing small parts on the folds and contours of the motif. Pasting the whole fragment convinced me of this once again. The “jambs” along the top, bottom and junction of the large motif were also corrected with a “hot spoon”.

Hand knitting is the trend of the season today, especially for women who have never been able to use knitting needles and crochet. This simple technique weaving threads allows you to create entire works of art: hats, scarves, rugs and blankets. Do you want to get a scarf using the hand knitting technique in 30 minutes? Our article will help you with this.

Features of free technology

Hand weaving and traditional knitting methods can be compared to finger painting and real fine arts. There is no doubt that both options are capable of creating unique masterpieces, especially if a true lover of his craft takes on the work.

Both knitting options use the same principles - creating loops and stitches. But the technique of working with one hand is inherently more free and unpretentious in adhering to any principles and schemes. It simply cannot be as accurate as traditional method, because the “tool” of work is different for each person, depending on individual characteristics. However, all the loops are so flexible that you can adjust your work already in its finished form.

Additionally, the whole process of hand knitting is more like moving stitches from side to side than winding yarn in specific patterns to create perfect stitches. Once you try to create any wardrobe item without knitting needles, you will sincerely and wholeheartedly love this method.

How to quickly knit an original and warm snood scarf? Wash your hands, stock up on a skein of thread and go ahead - master our photo tutorial.

Necessary materials:

  • a skein of thick wool threads;
  • scissors.

Process description:

  1. For a medium length scarf you will only need half a skein. And if you want the snood to be wrapped around your neck twice, take 2 balls of yarn.
  2. We start with a set of loops in a simple way as shown in the picture.
  3. We put the resulting loop on the wrist of the right hand. The tighter the knot is tightened, the tighter the scarf will be, but knitting it is much more difficult.
  4. Then grab the thread from the skein and wrap it in a ring around thumb. Turn your hand so that the remaining yarn from the first loop is under your index finger and secure the ends of the threads.
  5. Now start it right hand up through the loop wrapped around the thumb.
  6. And pick up the tail of the thread that is under your index finger to form a second stitch.
  7. Move the resulting new loop to the wrist where the first stitch is located.
  8. Repeat these steps until you have 10 stitches on your right arm, or more if you want a wide scarf.
  9. When required amount The stitches will be cast on, it’s time to move on to knitting the second row. Now you should hold the working thread in the same hand as the first row.
  10. We pass a long piece of working thread through the loop, which we remove from the left hand.
  11. As a result, we get a new stitch that needs to be transferred to the left hand.
  12. Throw the working thread over to your right hand again and repeat all the steps from the beginning until the entire row of loops is completed.
  13. A little tip: when you throw the loop over free hand, it is best to pull the working thread a little, so the stitch will be narrower.
  14. With some skill, in less than 10 minutes you will achieve the desired length of the scarf.
  15. Now it's time to start closing the loops. Work two stitches in the same way as you did for the length of the scarf on each row.
  16. Then pull the first knitted loop from your hand over the second stitch, bring the thread down and pull it not too tight.
  17. Repeat this step with the remaining loops, and secure the thread with a knot at the end.
  18. We move on to connecting the two edges of the product. To do this, fold the scarf in half.
  19. Insert the working thread into big hole, forming a loop.
  20. Then move the working thread to the next hole and pull it through the loop you made earlier. In this way, connect the edge to the end.
  21. When you reach the end of the row, carefully cut the working thread and secure it on the wrong side with a knot or sew it with threads to match the color of the yarn.
  22. The hand-knitted snood scarf is ready.

Knitting a triangular scarf without knitting needles

Summer loincloth, cocked hat and stylish cape. Do you think these are three different things? Not at all. This master class will tell you how to make an unusual and stylish thing in just a few simple steps.

Today we will tell you whether it is possible to make an electric bicycle in 30 minutes. The popularity of this safe, compact and lightweight type of transport is constantly growing. There is nothing complicated in the algorithm described below. We will reverse Special attention for the option of creating a folding structure. This product will last for many years if you follow safety precautions.

Advantages

Experts say that if you use a ready-made kit for an electric bicycle, assembly in 30 minutes is quite possible, just be smart. This vehicle has a lot of advantages. It allows you to conveniently move around the city, which has a lot of traffic jams. No rights are required for such a tool.

IN in this case, there is also no need for fuel, just recharging the electrical controller is enough. This solution helps keep its owner fit, as it uses muscular strength.

It should also be noted that you can make an electric bicycle at home, with your own hands, thereby not depending on market prices and shops. The average unit can reach 42 km per hour. Weight will be about 35 kg.

We make transport

Assembling an electric bicycle in 30 minutes is a reality even for a schoolchild. But before you start assembling the model, you should decide what the result should look like and what specific tasks will be assigned to this transport. You can purchase a special kit for assembling an electric bicycle. This approach will greatly simplify all the work.

However, the most necessary element the unit itself protrudes, which must have a thicker frame. We have to install an electric motor on it. You can find the necessary components and parts in technical markets, in special stores for inventors, and at sales.

Main Components

We'll need a 48 volt motor and a bike that can handle it. In addition, a number of fasteners and tools will be used. And also resourcefulness.

Additionally you will need:

  • motor mounts, made of stainless steel;
  • circuit breakers;
  • switches;
  • “asterisk” with 66 and 13 teeth;
  • moped chain;
  • rotary disc brake (2 pieces);
  • acid batteries to start the power system;
  • a special controller equipped with programmable control.

Next, modifications are made to the brakes and wheel fork. You can assemble an electric bicycle with your own hands in 30 minutes, but you should start with the front fork. After this we install the motor, battery, resistor. Craftsmen prefer to make a folding bicycle.

In a matter of seconds, such a vehicle can turn into a cargo version or fit in the trunk. The collapsible version can be considered more convenient in many ways, for example, ease of transportation in an elevator and reduced wheel size. The essence of the modification can be reduced to cutting the frame.

The connecting nodes should be welded to it in two places. They are secured using special bolts, screws and wing nuts. The unit disassembly procedure takes from one to two minutes.

Engine selection

If you decide to assemble an electric bicycle with your own hands in 30 minutes, you should remember that such a product requires an appropriate technical add-on. This will ease muscle effort. The engine is the main structural element. It should be selected according to the required current and voltage.

In this case, the power should be about 400 watts, in which case it will be possible to reach a speed of 30 km per hour, subject to the presence of a gearbox. The travel range is also within thirty kilometers. However, the latter indicator depends on the battery power.

Before choosing a model, you should consider the balance between battery capacity and voltage, as well as the corresponding engine performance. Let's look at this dependence with an example. If you use a 12-volt, 500-watt motor, you need a battery that has a capacity of forty amperes per hour. The permissible indicator can be calculated using Ohm's law.

If the discharge level is good, the battery can last longer. To save energy, it is advisable to accelerate with muscular force, while you need to stand on the pedals. This approach will save energy by a factor of 1.2. It is better to use up the charge while traveling on more difficult sections of the road. For example, the path may pass through a dirt road, slides and hills.

Resistor setting

To assemble an electric bicycle with your own hands in 30 minutes, you should take care of special gas handles. Variable option The resistor makes it possible to control the number of engine revolutions and speed changes. It is necessary to first calculate the AC power, and then use the appropriate device with the required voltage.

Opening contacts are installed on the brake handle. Their position is always closed and allows electricity to flow through the circuit. Pressing the contacts closes and opens the circuit - the engine speeds up or stops. A standard kit usually contains the parts necessary for assembly.

The master’s task is to assemble them in such a way that the engine stops when you press the brake handle. To do this, use two aluminum pieces. We install one on the moving elements of the brakes, and the second on those that are at rest.

By welding, we connect this combination to the open circuit in the engine. For this we use brackets. This solution will provide the design with a functional electric brake.

Finishing touch

To design an electric bicycle with your own hands in 30 minutes, you will need knowledge of several laws of physics. For example, electrical conductivity various substances and resistance of materials. Ohm's law will also come in handy.

With proper design, you can see in advance the gaps in the design being created, as well as determine the causes of possible problems or opportunities for subsequent modification. The structure of an electric bicycle includes the following elements: body, battery, variable resistor, motor.

Cold, inhospitable weather encourages warming up. And what will warm you better than something made with my own hands? This small instruction will teach you how to do it yourself knit a scarf without using knitting needles.
