  • Deviations on each side of the opening can be no more than 4 mm; checking is carried out using a hydraulic level, measuring the diagonals of the opening, as well as a laser-type plane builder.

Internal structures made of polyvinyl chloride are mounted in a previously prepared opening. The work is carried out by professional craftsmen, and acceptance takes into account quality, evenness and the absence of large gaps.

PVC external doors according to GOST

The requirements for the manufacture and installation of external doors are met as precisely as possible, because they protect the premises from dust, noise, cold, and unauthorized entry.

Input plastic doors have better heat and sound insulation than internal ones

One of the mandatory requirements that high-quality external doors must meet is a multi-point locking system. This is especially true for products characterized as burglary-resistant structures. In this case, the distance between the locks should not be more than 750 mm.

Entrance curtains are equipped with closers that ensure easy movement of the blade and allow people with disabilities to move disabilities. The threshold, which is made of aluminum with an anti-corrosion coating and equipped with drainage holes, requires special attention. This allows you to make the doors easy to use and protected from moisture.

Entrance doors can be of any color and design

The basic requirements for the manufacture and installation of external PVC systems are expressed as follows:

  • the recommended threshold height is 20 mm; if the parameter value is different, then this part of the structure should not become an obstacle to the movement of people;
  • doors installed on escape routes from the premises must open outward; they can be single- or double-leaf;
  • it is allowed to use burglary-resistant structures of groups A and B, for which corner reinforcement parts and a multi-bar locking system with 4th class locks are used;
  • External door leaves must be equipped with a system of holes for drying the gap between the panels and other parts; two holes are provided in the lower and upper profiles during manufacturing;

  • installation and design of filling fixation units is carried out in such a way as to prevent the possibility of breaking the canvas from the outside;
  • Glass whose height is more than 1250 mm, width more than 650 mm, and thickness less than 4 mm is not used.

If the door filling meets the basic requirements of GOST, then the structure will be as reliable and durable as possible. And the quality of installation and manufacturing affects sound insulation, which is important for doors installed in private residential buildings.

GOST and marking of PVC doors

Each type of plastic door and its features are indicated by a specific marking that corresponds to GOST. For example, the symbol “A” marks the entrance external canvases, “B” - the entrance interior doors With landings, “B” - interior or simple internal systems, installed to separate rooms.

External doors made of plastic are in demand due to their high performance characteristics.

By GOST PVC doors are also marked taking into account the purpose of the product and the filling of the leaf:

  • DNP - external doors with PVC profile;
  • DPV - internal with profile;
  • DPM - interior doors;
  • the filling is designated: G - solid, O - glazed, Km - combined, D - decorative;
  • design: P - doors with a threshold, Bpr - without a threshold, F - with a transom, Kz - with a closed frame, Op - single-leaf systems, Dp - double-leaf, L or P - left or right, respectively, and burglary-resistant means Dv;
  • sliding - Rz, swing - R, folding - Sk.

The marking of the door leaves is presented in the form of a set of symbols, which includes the designation of the design type, purpose, opening option and door filling structure.

Plastic doors are varied, but their production and installation are always carried out by specialists who know all the requirements and established GOST standards. As a result of compliance with a set of rules, safe, beautiful and durable structures are obtained.

Today there is no person who has not heard of PVC doors, also called metal-plastic or simply plastic. Using them in Everyday life, how often have we wondered what it is?

Such doors are usually made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material reinforced inside aluminum structures. Hence the name - metal-plastic. PVC is a difficult to ignite and self-extinguishing material, resistant to atmospheric influences, as well as the destructive effects of alkalis and acids, and not subject to rapid wear. It is these characteristics that allow it to be used for the manufacture of door frames. Also, a PVC door is much cheaper and often more beautiful, as evidenced by customer reviews.

Anyone who buys a PVC door should know that the opportunity to choose a truly high-quality product is regulated by law. Involved since 2002 State standard for metal-plastic doors. It is called "Door blocks from PVC profiles"(GOST 30970–2002).

This standard describes the main types of metal-plastic doors and their technical characteristics required by production. GOST obliges manufacturers to adhere to all quality standards described in it. Therefore, when purchasing a metal-plastic door, in order not to blindly trust the seller, it is important to understand the basic concepts of GOST.

Typology of PVC doors according to GOST

In accordance with GOST 30970–2002, metal-plastic doors are divided into:

  1. Regarding the purpose, the door can be external or internal. An internal door can be an interior door, an entrance door to an apartment or for a bathroom;
  2. Regarding the type of filling of the door frame:
  • glazed PVC door, into the frame of which a double-glazed window or transparent glass of any type is inserted;
  • a blind door whose door leaf is opaque. It can also be: light (when the lower part of the door is not transparent, but the upper part allows light to pass through) and decorative (when the PVC door leaf is equipped with an architectural pattern);
  1. Regarding its design metal-plastic door May be:
  • with one canvas (right or left) and with two canvases (the same or different widths);
  • with a fixed sash or one that opens;
  • with or without a threshold, with or without a frame box;
  • regarding the type of PVC profile.

Here the classification is based on the number of cameras profile system, from which the door is made. Profiles come with two, three or big amount cameras;

  1. Regarding the profile finishing option, the PVC door can be white or another color, covered with a laminating film or with a co-extruded front covering.

Technical requirements for PVC doors according to GOST 30970–2002

The state standard quite strictly regulates the parameters that the production of plastic doors can afford - these are dimensions, filling of the canvas, permissible deviations during manufacturing. Accordingly, requirements are put forward in relation to fittings. also in this document measures for quality control of products, standards for their packaging, transportation and storage are prescribed.

Operating characteristics of a plastic door

To ensure that the door you buy satisfies your needs and maintains the necessary microclimate in the house, when choosing, you need to pay attention to its main characteristics:

  • Heat transfer resistance may depend on thickness insulation material, but should not go beyond 0.8-1.2 m²xC/W.
  • Air permeability is no more than 3.5 m³/(hm2).
  • Insulation from sound waves is not less than 26 dBA
  • The state standard also establishes that the number of years of use for a PVC profile must be at least 40, for a double-glazed window - at least 20, for a seal - at least 10. The number of openings and closings during this period can be at least 500,000 times.

Strength groups of metal-plastic doors

When purchasing, the strength group of the door is also an important indicator. There are only three of them: A, B, C. The strongest, according to this GOST classification, are the doors of group A. You can also find out about this by reading customer reviews.

What deviations can be considered a defect in the production of PVC doors?

Production in violation of the requirements of the State Standard occurs in cases where:

  1. There is a difference in the dimensions of the finished product and the dimensions indicated in project documentation. The difference should not be more than 2 mm and less than 1 mm. The difference in diagonal length for PVC doors should not exceed 2 mm for a door leaf measuring 1.5 sq.m and 3 mm for larger doors.
  2. On door leaf scratches, chips and other deformations are detected, as well as differences in color or gloss that are visible to the naked eye.
  3. The door opens and closes with strain and force.
  4. There are deviations in technical specifications from those stated in the documentation.
  5. Deviations from GOST requirements during installation.

When purchasing a PVC door, do not forget that you have the right to demand compliance with the requirements of the State Standard from any company operating in the Russian Federation.

Often when studying quality characteristics, features and parameters of doors, you may encounter incomprehensible abbreviations and abbreviations that make it difficult to understand the material presented by the manufacturer. To understand the essence of what is written, it is not necessary to become an expert in the field of the door industry or try to take the place of the manufacturer. This article will help you figure it all out.

Many standard meanings are used to shorten long words. For example, in documents on certification, standardization, as well as in the catalogs of many manufacturers, you can find the following abbreviations:

GOST requirements for filling door panels

External burglar-resistant or internal plastic doors consist of profiles, fittings and have filling, presented in the form of panels. These inserts can be made of glass or plastic.

PVC doors can be of any color and equipped with glass

GOST assumes the following features of high-quality filling:

  • three-layer filling is represented by panels consisting of aluminum and plastic facing sheets;
  • single-layer filling is made in the form of foamed rigid polyvinyl chloride;
  • the thickness of the sheets is at least 15 mm;
  • installation and design of filling fixation units is carried out in such a way as to prevent the possibility of breaking the canvas from the outside;

For example, the symbol “A” marks external entrance doors, “B” - internal entrance doors from stairwells, “B” - interior or simple internal systems installed to separate rooms.

External doors made of plastic are in demand due to their high performance characteristics.

According to GOST, PVC doors are also marked taking into account the purpose of the product and the filling of the leaf:

  • DNP - external doors with PVC profile;
  • DPV - internal with profile;
  • DPM - interior doors;
  • the filling is designated: G - solid, O - glazed, Km - combined, D - decorative;
  • design: P - doors with a threshold, Bpr - without a threshold, F - with a transom, Kz - with a closed frame, Op - single-leaf systems, Dp - double-leaf, L or P - left or right, respectively, and burglary-resistant means Dv;

GOST 30970 -2002: plastic entrance doors

Doors made of plastic, although relatively recently, have become quite firmly established in our everyday life. If at first they were the prerogative only for office and public buildings, then today plastic, as they say, “steps on the heels” of wooden carpentry. Here, as they say, there are three pleasures in one bottle: durability, affordable price and design, which is sometimes not inferior to wood products.

The instructions proposed in this article will tell you what requirements plastic doors GOST 30970 must meet, how they are classified, how they are marked and installed - in general, about everything that may interest our readers.

According to GOST 30970-2002, plastic door products classified according to five criteria. The first is, of course, the purpose.

There are three groups here:

  • "A"— entrance to the building;
  • "B"— entrance to the apartment or hall from the staircase;
  • "IN"- interior doors.

Note! Group “B” includes not only products with a rebate, which were the only design option indicated in GOST for plastic doors from 2002. The standard, updated in 2014, now applies to all kinds of folding and sliding structures installed in partitions, exits to the terrace, and other architectural and design solutions, one of which is shown in the photo below.

GOST 30970 2014 - exit to the terrace

Filling canvases

The second feature by which GOST classifies plastic doors is the filling option for the panels. Everyone knows that they can be glazed, solid throughout the entire height, or combined, with solid filling in the lower part.

Blind doors are most often installed at entrances, while combined doors are installed in institutions and residential buildings. In apartments this is most often an exit to a balcony or loggia (see).

Full glazed interior design

But still, when it comes to doors inside residential premises, fully glazed panels occupy a leading position. The reason is simple: such a door will fit into any interior without any problems and, in addition, will improve its natural lighting daytime. Therefore, I would like to say something about glazing separately.

Double-glazed windows

For glazing plastic doors, non-single sheet glass is used. Double-glazed windows that are a glued volumetric structure are more suitable. This is done both to preserve heat and to enhance the strength of the door glazing.

Double-glazed windows consist of a spacer frame, a desiccant and two types of sealant, and are manufactured in accordance with GOST 54175*2010.

  • There are two design options for double-glazed windows: single-chamber, marked with the abbreviation SPO, and two-chamber - SPD. We think everyone understands that the two-chamber version consists of three glasses, between which two isolated cavities are formed. By agreement with the customer, the manufacturer can make a structure of 4 or more sheets, and even install a decorative frame between the chambers.

Double-glazed window designs

  • The chamber space is filled with some inert gas or simply dried air. The main thing is that the properties of the gas cannot deviate the characteristics of double-glazed windows from the requirements of the standard. Many types of base material can be used to make double-glazed windows.
  • In addition to colorless sheet glass, polished and unpolished reinforced glass, pigmented glass, hardened glass, multilayer glass and sun-protective glass are used. Glazing can also be patterned or decorative (see), with a soft or hard coating.

With patterned glass

  • In the production of double-glazed windows, it is allowed to use any type of glass, as long as the final product meets the requirements of GOST. Their thickness can vary between 14 mm and 60 mm, but deviations from the nominal value should not exceed 1 mm for one camera. The inside of the glass must be clean, without traces of dust, sealant, markings, fabric lint or fingerprints.

The sealant layer around the perimeter must be complete and have no breaks. Tightness, as well as the absence of any optical effects when it comes to transparent glass, are the main requirements of the standard for these products. The service life of a properly manufactured double-glazed window is at least twenty years.

Regarding the designs and sizes of double-glazed windows, the manufacturer makes decisions in accordance with the purpose and operating conditions of the doors, as well as according to the wishes of the customer. The state standard only outlines the boundaries of what is permitted for the manufacturer.

  • So, we come to the third criterion by which products are classified - this Constructive decisions blocks. In addition to those opening to the left or right, this includes products with two blades, symmetrical in width or unequal in width.

Frame design

  • Double-floored products differ in the design of the narthex: the canvases can be separated by a vertical impost or not have such a feature. Impostless doors are closed using a frame - a special profile installed on the sash. There are also burglar-resistant doors, as well as options with a transom, which can be either opening or solid.
  • Also, the design differences between plastic doors concern the threshold. If there is one, then the standard requires that it be continuous along the entire contour. If the structure does not have a threshold, then the frame of the box should be closed, and the profile in its lower horizontal part should not differ from the vertical element in cross-sectional size. Door opening mechanisms also divide them into groups. There are three of them: hinged, folding and sliding (see).

Metal-plastic structures for a loggia with a blind transom

It only remains to mention that thanks to the use of profile doors with different front trim, the products have completely different appearance. This is not only the familiar white plastic, but also a mass-painted profile.

It can also be finished surface by painting, laminating or having a co-extruded sprayed face.

Requirements

Of course, no one installs plastic doors with their own hands. This is done by the installation team of the company that accepted the order and manufactured the product. Anyone interested in the process can watch the video in this article, and we will tell you what installation requirements GOST imposes.

So:

  • First of all, they relate to the assembly of canvases and boxes from PVC profiles, which must be reinforced with steel liners and corners. In doors with impost narthex vertical elements must be fixed not only by welding, but also with the help of mechanical fastenings, for which the standard provides diagrams of the main components and connections.
  • In addition, the document recommends adhering to the following standards: maximum size swing door with one blade - 2400*1000 mm; maximum door area - 6m2, maximum weight - 120kg. If these characteristics are exceeded, the product must be subjected to individual testing, which is confirmed by the relevant certificate.

Foldable design with laminated coating

  • If the door has a threshold, then it must be made of them aluminum profile, have drainage holes and covered with a durable anti-corrosion coating. Its height should not create a barrier for walking, so 2 cm is the limit. Those of them that are installed on evacuation routes for people from a building must open in the direction of movement.
  • Doors having folding or sliding structure, are not necessarily internal, belonging to group “B” - they can also be external. Of course, no one installs such a door at the entrance to the house from the street, but to exit to the terrace, greenhouse (see) or glazed gazebo, doors belonging to group “A” are installed.
  • The main difference between external doors is the system of holes designed to drain the space between the glass panels and the profile folds. They reduce the possibility of condensation forming. The document focuses on Special attention the number, diameter and location of these holes.

Concerning appearance, then the standard states that the welding areas of the profile should not have cracks, traces of stripping, burns or unwelded sections. Color change PVC profile is unacceptable, and its front surface must be protected self-adhesive film, which is removed after installation.

The door should close securely and easily, and the fittings should ensure a tight fit of the door leaf to the frame.
