I took the same bushing as a basis. I wound three types of thread around it so that everything fits freely into the syringe. Then I cut out an insert into the sleeve from some kind of garbage, like foam rubber. I stuck three different-sized needles there and pushed them inside the sleeve. Not in the photo, but a couple of pins can easily fit in there.
The nose of the syringe has been shortened by half. I melted it with a lighter and flattened it on the blade of a knife. From the other end of the syringe I cut off the extra “ears” and also carefully trimmed them with a lighter. The piston was shortened. I melted a hole in it with wire and pulled a nylon thread through it. It turned out to be a cork on a string. To prevent it from getting lost, I tied the thread with tape to the syringe. I wound a nylon thread around the syringe itself to make it work. At the bottom of the syringe I put three small buttons, then a sleeve with threads and needles and plugged the whole thing with a stopper. Beauty!

Now I don’t remember exactly how many meters of thread I wound. Thin ones are about 20 meters, nylon ones are 6-10 meters. In any case, it’s enough for the eyes, but there’s almost no weight.
In my opinion, it turned out not bad. Everything is quite compact and sealed. Since small scissors are in the first aid kit, I put this sewing kit in there too.

There are syringes different sizes(even 150 ml), and you can choose a container to suit your needs without any problems. You can put all sorts of NAZs and fishing hooks and spices, but who knows what else? It seems to me that this is a little more convenient than pouring sugar and coffee into a cocktail tube. The containers are light, airtight, compact, reusable, cheap and don’t take long to make.
As an example, a couple more of my containers.


I poured salt into a small (10 ml) syringe. I don’t need much with me yet, but this is enough just in case.
A twenty cc syringe holds 7 hunting matches and chirkash glued to a piece of wooden ruler.

  • two tees with winding rings;
  • steel balls that can be removed from the bearing.

Let's get down to the task at hand - making a popper. We disassemble the pharmaceutical syringe and cut off unnecessary parts (we cut the nose, the stem into pieces and use only the middle). The actions can be seen in the photographs.



Cylinders are cut out of a wine cork, which are the size of the syringe and will be tightly inserted inside. To do this, use a knife to cut off excess pieces in a circle until you get required size. To avoid mistakes, you can draw the cut location with a ballpoint pen.



Then we push a small cylinder of cork into the syringe to the very end, carefully pierce a hole in it for the wire. Next we send the middle part from the cut rod. We also make holes for the wires in the remaining cylinder, as shown in the photo.



We pour steel balls inside the syringe and push the stopper. We twist the free ends of the two wires and make a ring for attaching the fishing line. We also bend the remaining free ends of the wires and create rings for attaching hooks.



All that remains is to attach the tees with winding rings and a homemade popper - the syringe rattle is ready. You can go to the river and try to catch a predatory pike, which loves to attack such baits.

I will be making a rocket launcher from four rockets, so the items listed below can be multiplied by four. You can make one rocket.
  • Disposable syringe. I took 60 ml.
  • A used lighter with a piezo element.

  • Hot glue gun.
  • Soldering iron, utility knife, ruler and other available tools.

Making a toy rocket launcher

We take the lighter and disassemble it in order to remove the piezoelectric element, which generates a spark - a discharge that ignites gas.


We take out the piezoelectric element. This is the high-voltage generator itself. The wiring is one contact, and the second is a shiny cap on the bottom.


We take a two-core wire. It is advisable to choose one with thicker insulation.


Connect to the piezoelectric element.



Then we insulate everything with electrical tape or, better as I did, with heat shrink.
We take two needles from syringes. Here I want to warn you and suggest that you either grind off the point of the needles with a file or simply bite off half a centimeter with wire cutters. This must be done, as you may get injured during the game.
We connect the wires to the needles. These will be the electrodes that will be located inside the rocket launcher.


We solder for reliability. But this is optional.


Take the syringe and remove the plunger.


Remove the rubber seal from the piston.


Use a soldering iron to make holes in the piston.


We insert our needle electrodes into these holes.


Fill with hot glue to seal.


We take the rubber seal.

Fill the hole in the cylinder with hot glue. We won't need it anymore.


Cut off the skirt of the syringe barrel.



We take hard cardboard or plastic. And we cut out the following rocket flight stabilizers from it.

I'm making a stand for this whole thing. I took a rectangular piece of wood and drilled two small holes in the middle of the other half. A little later you will understand why.

The pneumatics are ready. You can use it in two ways: either glue a tube and shoot balls, or do without a tube and shoot cartridges made from needles.

Everything is clear with the first option, so let’s move on to making cartridges from needles. This is done very simply. We take a needle and put it on any syringe.


We insert the tip of the needle into the turned on and hot glue gun and pull the piston, thereby sucking in a certain amount of glue.


After some time, the glue will harden and close the hole on the needle, preventing air from escaping from it.




To shoot a homemade pneumatic gun, you need to put a sealed needle on the nose of the syringe and pull out the plunger of the second syringe. Next, push the piston of the first syringe so that it closes the hole behind the needle and press on the second piston. This creates pressure. To fire a shot, you just need to release the piston closing the hole.

A homemade airbrush made from a syringe is an excellent household assistant. This invention makes painting a very simple process. Method one (airbrush without spray gun)

First of all, you need to collect everything necessary tools. To make this type of airbrush you will need:

  • a disposable syringe and a needle from it (its volume depends only on the desire of the master);
  • clip;
  • a thread;
  • fixation - adhesive tape or tape;
  • small container for paint.

The needle must be removed and heated over a fire so that it can be separated from the plastic base. You need to remove the piston from the syringe, first make the paper clip flat, and then bend it at an angle of 90 °. Tightly connect one side of the paperclip and the needle with a thread. Then use tape or tape to secure the other side of the paper clip and the body. Moreover, it is necessary to fix the structure near the hole on which the needle was placed. The tip of the needle must be positioned so that it is in the center of the syringe nozzle.

After this, you should dilute the paint so that it is liquid in a small container. Take the airbrush in your hand, lower the needle into the container with the dye and blow strongly into the wide nozzle.

Method two (airbrush without paint sprayer)

This method is identical to the method described above, it differs only in a few details.

To make it you will need:

Position of the spray gun: a – walls, b – ceiling.

  • gel pen refill;
  • disposable syringe + needle;
  • rod section ballpoint pen;
  • glass or plastic bottle, container for coloring emulsion;
  • hot melt adhesive.

The entire process of assembling the airbrush occurs in several stages:

  • cut off the writing part of the pen with a cone;
  • cut off the sharp part of the medical needle;
  • first dip the needle in hot glue and insert it into the cut rod so that its tip is visible from the metal part of the rod;
  • the upper part of the syringe is attached to the bottle (a rod with a needle must be inserted into the body);
  • make 3-4 holes in the lid for air access;
  • The distance between the tip of the needle and the pen can be determined experimentally.

One of the advantages of this airbrush is the easy replacement of the reservoir.

Airbrush with paint sprayer

In order to make a more convenient homemade airbrush, you will need the following parts:

  • pens (3 ballpoint pens, 2 gel pens);
  • pencil;
  • an empty metal bottle (you can take a bottle of cosmetics);
  • syringes (2-3);
  • hard wire;
  • bolts 2 pcs. 3 mm each;
  • nipple;
  • small needle - 2 pcs.;
  • glue.

First of all, you need to assemble the cartridge and needle retainer. You need to make it from a syringe, a gel pen refill, a fountain pen spring and a bolt. Remove the piston from the body, lower the spring inside (it should be next to the thin nozzle), make a hole in the rod and insert a bolt, and they should be perpendicular to each other. This structure is subsequently inserted into the housing.

In the body of the ballpoint pen, you need to make holes on both sides with a hot knife: one is smaller and more round (about 0.5 cm), the second is larger and longer (about 2 cm). Next, a piece of wire must be bent into the trigger stop. Heat a needle suitable for the diameter of the wire and make two holes in the housing for the bent wire, insert it into the housing.

The next step is to prepare 4 pieces of wire 6 cm each and bend them at a right angle. These pieces should be used to secure the air housing, or rather its valve (made from a piece of the body of a ballpoint pen).

Then you need to insert the housing that holds the needle directly into the spray gun. It must be inserted without special effort. The length of the gel pen rod is selected so that the rod rests against the bent wire and the spring is compressed. To connect all the parts you can use epoxy resin, hot glue or regular superglue.

Next thing you need to do air valve airbrush, it will consist of a syringe without a piston, a needle, a spring, a piece of tube from a cylinder (air freshener), and a nipple. All parts must be connected, pre-treated with glue.

For the trigger you will need an antenna and a piston cap. It is necessary to connect two sections of the antenna to the cap, and insert a match with glue already applied to it inside. All parts also need to be coated with glue so that the structure is strong.

In order to make a paint sprayer for an airbrush, you need one syringe, an iron part of a medical needle, a part of a rod with an iron tip, and an air supply hose.

The container for the color emulsion will be a deodorant can, or rather its upper part, which needs to be cut off with a knife.

When all the parts are connected to each other, the spray gun can be considered ready. It’s not difficult to do and doesn’t take long, the main thing is to have the desire. But if you don’t want to bother with a complex airbrush designer, you can completely use the first and second methods. They don’t take that much time, and the parts for making them can be found in any apartment or house.

There is another way to make an airbrush with a spray paint from a deodorant can. Moreover, the empty can will act as a spray bottle for soft dispersion of paint or any finely dispersed chemical substance. For production you need:

  • empty can;
  • large capacity syringe;
  • vinyl tube with a diameter that will fit the small nozzle;
  • compressor to create pressure in the cylinder;
  • gloves.

Remove the deodorant from the deodorant can plastic valve. Place a vinyl tube on the syringe, as close to the base as possible, and cut it so that it can later be put on the nozzle of the syringe, but so that there is room left for pressing the valve of the can (that is, the length of the piece of vinyl tube should be approximately 0 .5 cm). Dial liquid paint and connect a piece of vinyl tube to the can. In this method, the syringe acts as an element for filling a can of paint. In order for the paint to get inside the deodorant can, you need to press the nozzle of the can and then the plunger of the syringe. It is easy to calculate the volume of paint to be refilled; just look at the volume of the can and the capacity of the syringe. For example, the volume of a can is 150 ml, a syringe is 10 cubic meters, which means that you need to pour 5 volumes of paint into the can. It is very important between refills not to forget to first press the cylinder valve, that is, close it, and only then remove the syringe.

It is necessary to make an adapter from a plastic cover of a medical needle that will connect the cylinder and the compressor. You need to make a small hole in the sealed part of the case, and insert the open part into the compressor tube. Next, turn on the compressor, put the adapter on the can, press on its nozzle and fill with air (about 2 kg of air per 150 ml can). Before painting, put a plastic spray bottle on the can and shake it.
