Show the walkthrough of dark souls 3. The Righteous Knight Godric – Marauders. Sirris of the Sunless Lands

After a very atmospheric CG video, you find yourself in the character creation menu. Select a name, class and appearance and click “Finish creation”. After this you find yourself in a tutorial area where you have to learn the basics of controls, the hints are written on the ground, to read them just press [A], later you will be able to see the same tips, but from other players.

Your first enemy will be waiting ahead of you, killing him will not be difficult, all ordinary enemies in this area are killed with 1 hit. Once you've dealt with him, go to the right corridor and pick up at the end "Vanishing Soul", now go back and move towards the fountain. Pick it up from him "Estus Flask" to replenish magical energy (flasks are replenished at bonfires). Then turn right and kill the enemy from behind, to do this, approach him from behind and press .

Now go to the right into the flooded passage, at the end of the path a strong enemy will be waiting for you - "Giant Ice Lizard."

When fighting her, pay attention to lizard spins and lunges, as well as ice breath, which will reduce your speed. Dodge attacks and, when the enemy is inactive, strike. After winning, you will receive a "Titanite Shard", as well as a valuable item in the corner of the cave.

Return to the fountain and go through the central passage, there is a crossbowman waiting for you, kill him and move on. Ahead you are greeted by a gorgeous panorama with snowy mountains and a narrow path to the top; climb it and relax at the top by the fire.

This is important: When you rest by the fire, your Health and Mana, Flasks with Estus are replenished, but enemies in this location are also reborn.

We go forward, killing enemies along the way, we reach the cliff where the inscription is located and jump onto the coffin, there we pick up "Titanite Shard". Then we turn right and go down the path, but two enemies are waiting for us there, lure them out one by one, and at the end we pick them up "Fire Bomb" and go upstairs. There is nothing more to do here, we go through the central passage, where the first battle with us awaits.

The boss is very fast; if you move away from him, he will jump on you, and if you are close, he will attack you with a series of quick blows. Learn his attacks and when the series of attacks stops on you, attack.

After you remove half of your opponent's health, a black mass will come out of his back, which will double the size of the Boss. The new version of the Boss has a huge claw and tail, and he is also faster. But he has a weakness to fire, with the help of fire bombs you can remove a significant part of your health, and if you are a pyromancer, then there will be no problems at all. After the victory, we light a fire.

After the victory, we light a fire. Next we open double doors and turn right and pick up "Broken Sword", we pass further and go along a narrow descent, there will be two opponents, as well as "Bone of Return". Now we go back a little and climb the stairs on which two damned ones are sitting, kill them and pick up "Coal", and at the end we take "Bone of Return", turn around and go down the stairs, pick up from the tree "Imperial Shield".

We go further and meet a naked enemy with a katana, you need to be careful with him, the easiest tactic against him would be to use spells and ranged combat or somersault behind his back. We dodge his attack, strike and quickly rebound, and so on until victory. After the victory we get a very useful weapon for the starting stage - "Uchigatana".

Now we can go through the central passage and meet our allies in "Sanctuary of Fire".

Fire Temple

Go down the stairs and talk to the knight - Khovkud Deserter, after which you will receive a new gesture. Next, go down to the very bottom and light a fire. Now talk to the “Fire Keeper” who is standing by the fire. With her, you can increase your characteristics using the accumulated souls.

This is Important: When a character dies, your souls fall at the place of death, but if you don’t pick them up and die again, all those souls burn out, and it will be impossible to return them.

We continue to get acquainted with the new house. We pass along the corridor and meet two characters, the first is Sanctuary Maid. We can buy various things from her, from armor and weapons to keys and torches. The second character is Blacksmith Andre which will help you redistribute "Estus Flasks", repair, improve and harden equipment.

There is nothing more to do here for now, use the fire and move to "The high wall of Lothric."

High Wall of Lothric

We appear in a small closed room, open the doors and go outside. We go down the stairs and light up Bonfire.

Then we have two paths, first we turn right into a gap in the wall, there will be a crossbowman standing on the scaffolding, we kill him, and below there will be two dogs and two strong opponents. First, we lure the dogs closer to the stairs, after that we kill the Damned with the halberd, and then the enemy with an ax, who is patrolling the right stairs leading to the tower. We go down to the tower, but it is closed, but to the right of the stairs there is a corpse from which you can pick up "The Soul of Abandoned Remains".

We go back up the stairs and go to the second staircase, there will be a crossbowman at the top, then we quickly run up to the second enemy and quickly kill him, otherwise he will crawl out of him dark mass, like from the previous boss "Judge Gundir". After the battle, we pick it up from the corpse near the collapsed stairs "Longbow" And "Regular Boom X12". We can return to the fire, there is nothing for us to do at the moment.

Now we go down the second staircase and first of all kill the enemies with lanterns, go up the stairs and kill another enemy with a lantern. We rise even higher and select "Binoculars", then we go down and go behind the back of the dead dragon and jump down, pick up at the opening "Golden Resin". We jump down, and there will be an enemy on the left, as well as on the right among the boxes. After the massacre, we approach the table and select "Fire Bomb X2".

We go down and pick it up in the corner "The Soul of Abandoned Remains". We go forward and find ourselves in a rather difficult location, we lure out the enemy with a shield and kill him, being careful of the thrusts of his spear, then we go up the stairs a little and quickly run back, because a dragon flew in and began to spew out flames. But this even plays into our hands, all the opponents that are under him will die from his fiery breath, we wait for their death, run up to the stairs and quickly run back. As soon as the Dragon finishes spewing flame, we quickly go upstairs, collect items and open the doors. We go down and see a chest, but the chest is not ordinary, it’s "Mimic"! We run up to him and start hitting him. The new enemy is very strong, we beware of his grabs, as well as kicks, and try to keep a distance from him and strike at the right moments. After killing we will get "Battle Ax".

Now we go up the stairs, and one enemy is waiting for us on the right, and there is also a Knight ahead, first we kill the weak enemy, and then we begin to lure the knight out.

This is interesting: If you have enough arrows and time, you can attack the Dragon, when its health decreases to a certain point, it will fly to another place, and we will receive a “Large Titanite Fragment”.

After the victory, we go into the next room and kill the enemy who jumps out from behind the boxes, go to the right and go up the stairs. So we got to the second Bonfire.

Picking up in the corner "Titanite Shard", if necessary, we relax by the fire. We go down and kill the thief who is standing behind the boxes and throwing knives, we kill him and go down even lower, first we deal with the first thief, then with the second one, who is sitting behind wooden barrel. We go down the stairs and meet an enemy with a halberd, we dodge his attacks and attack at the right moment. The ideal tactic for this type of enemy would be to run behind you and deliver a critical hit from behind.

We go into the next room, quickly run up to the enemy and kill him; if you slow down, he will throw "Fire Bomb" into barrels of oil. Behind, in the left corner there will be a corpse, from which we select "Metal Knife X8". There will be another enemy around the corner, but since he is looking at the wall, dealing with him will not be a problem. We pick up at the iron doors "Panzerbreaker". We go further and reach the cage, but for now it is closed. Remember this place, we still have to come back here. We go back and climb up wooden stairs, which we had previously descended. Now we can relax by the fire and replenish our health, or continue our journey.

We pass through the opening and first of all we approach the right wall, the first enemy will crawl through it to us, we quickly deal with him and wait for the second one, he will climb the stairs. We go down, walk along the roof and see a bunch of Hollows, we are interested in the one standing in the center, we quickly run up to him and deliver several blows, if we don’t have time, he will turn into a black monster, and then it will be much more difficult to kill him. After a glorious victory we select "Fire Bomb X3" and approach the right side of the roof, at the edge there will be Crystal lizard, we kill her, and she drops "Titanite Shard".

We go down the stairs and kill the next crossbowman, there will be another one behind him, quickly run to him, kill him and wait for two more enemies to appear. Picking it up from a corpse "Fire Bomb X3". We go down, and two enemies will come out at us from the walls, kill them and go back up the stairs. We go a little back and go down the boards to the roof, there we pick up from the corpse "Fire Bomb X3". We go back again and go into the rooms where we are waiting "Knight of Lothric" with Halberd and Big Shield. He will make strong lunges and also hit with his Shield. We dodge attacks and strike at the right moment, and then dodge again. After the victory, from the corpse that lies in the corner of the room, we select "The Soul of Abandoned Remains".

We go to the right and around the corner we kill the first enemy, and then the crossbowman who is standing on the stairs, then we approach the barrels and hit them and pick them up from the corpse "An Amulet Against the Undead". We go up the stairs and pick it up from the corpse "Titanite Shard", and also kill the enemies that appear, and then return to the room where we killed the “Knight of Lothric”. We pass through the central entrance and do a somersault on the boxes, move back a little, go forward and kill the enemy around the corner, break the boxes in the room and pick them up from the corpse "Sword". We return to the corridor, go down the stairs and find ourselves in a room with two dogs and two enemies with axes. We go to the right, kill the enemy and pick it up from the chest "Shield with a silver eagle", we go to a dead end and kill the enemy, and then return to the stairs leading down.

First we lure the dog onto the stairs and kill it, then we deal with the enemy who is holding the Halberd, then we kill the second dog and the last enemy. We go behind the stairs we went down, break the boxes and pick them up from the corpse "Titanite Shard". Then we approach the center of the room and select "Estus Shard", go left and pick it up on the stairs "Camera Key". We go up to the third floor, run forward, turn left, break through the garbage and find ourselves on the second floor. There we select the “Astor Straight Sword” from the chest. Now we return to the closed cage, which is located under the second fire and negotiate a deal with the prisoner.

We return again, but to the roof, and go down the wooden stairs, pass through the rooms where the “Knight of Lothric” was killed, go into the room and go through the right passage, break the boxes and find ourselves on the street. We kill a nearby enemy and pick up from the corpse "Rapier". Here another enemy awaits us, dressed in heavy armor and wielding a halberd. We spin it, dodge attacks and strike at the right moments. There shouldn't be any problems with it, as it's quite slow. After the victory, we collect all the items and move on.

On the left we kill the first enemy, and then the crossbowman on the stairs, go up to the roof and pick up "Large Soul of a Deserted Corpse", and then jump over to another roof and pick up "Ring of Sacrifice". We jump down and go up the stairs again, go into the open area and lure out the enemy, deal with him, and then with the Hollow horde. They are quite weak, but there are many of them, we retreat back and kill them one by one. As soon as they are all dead, we move to the elevator and go into it. Once at the top, open iron door and do a somersault forward, there will be an enemy with an ax on the right. We kill him, go up the stairs, and deal with another enemy with a halberd, a crossbowman and two dogs. We go upstairs and find ourselves at the fire.

Congratulations, we have now opened a fast track to bonfire.

If necessary, we rest by the fire and return back. Quite strong opponents await us ahead - "Knights of Lothric". There are two people patrolling the square and another one on the right, guarding "Lucerne Hammer". We lure them out one by one, dodge behind our backs and strike at the right moment. Upstairs, on the left stairs there will be an even much stronger enemy than those knights. The tactics of fighting him are the same, but in addition to this, you need to wait until the enchantment of his weapon wears off, after killing us we will receive "Rough Stone". Next, we go into the Cathedral, talk to the woman and receive from her "Flag of Lothric", after that we talk to her again and get a sign "Blue Guardians".

We leave the cathedral and go to another part of the square, kill two shield bearers and one crossbowman and go down the stairs. If you use "Coal", you can summon other players to fight the boss, to do this you just need to activate the white inscriptions on the floor. We approach the gate and the battle with the second boss begins.

Battle with "Vordt of Cold Valley"

The boss moves on all fours and wields a Mace. He will strike in an arc and strike the ground. The tactics against the boss are simple, if you are a magician, then keep your distance, and also summon a phantom to distract attention. If you are a warrior, then dodge behind his back while he raises his mace to strike and attack. Then watch him, wait for his attack and immediately dodge behind his back. The main thing in the battle is not to be in his face when attacking, all his attacks are designed for a frontal attack, if you are behind him, he will not be able to do anything to you. He will also often try to bounce away from you, so always keep your stamina in reserve to bridge the gap with the Boss.

Once he has half his health left, he will create an icy aura around himself that will freeze you. This will reduce your speed and take longer to replenish your stamina. He will also attack you with ice spikes, at this time we run away from him. The tactics are the same, he will attack with sweeping blows in front of his face. So try to stay behind him. After winning we get " Soul Vordt from Cold Valley".

Kindle bonfire and go out through the gate, set up at the cliff "Flag of Lothric" and after a short cut-scene we find ourselves in a new location.

ATTENTION! Do not use the soul you receive to mine souls. You can get unique weapons from it.

Undead Settlement

We light a fire and approach the gate, but don’t go down, we reach the end of the wall and pick it up. The dogs will run out of the gate and kill the Hollows, all we have to do is deal with them, lure them out one by one, dodge the lunge and strike. We don’t go through the gate, but go left, to where the pilgrims walked, but the bridge collapsed. There will be two more dogs behind the caravan, we kill them, and pick up Hollow from the corpse "Beautiful Skull". We go to the bridge, talk to the survivor Pilgrim and invite him to "Temple of Fire"

Now we return to the gate and meet new type enemy - Worker. It is quite weak, but can cause damage if you are not careful. We jump away from him, and then immediately attack, mostly they die in two hits (depending on the weapon). We move towards the building and kill two more workers, at the end of the room we hit the suspended corpse and pick up “ Small leather shield". We go down to the second floor, go out onto the balcony and knock down the corpse, go around the corner and kill the worker, and at the end we pick it up from the corpse - "Mending Sand". We go down to the first floor, kill the enemies and go outside.

We collect from a discarded corpse - "Lorretta's Bone". Thanks to this item we have "Temple of Fire" a new merchant has appeared, give him this bone and you can buy items from him.

We approach the first group of enemies and throw a bomb into the barrels, then approach the second group and also throw a bomb into the barrels. We kill the remaining opponents and lure out the “Big Lady”, beware of her attacks, as well as grabs, dodge, strike and dodge again, and so on until victory. After the victory we pick up from the burning tree "Estus Shard", and right behind it "Coal". We retreat to the barrels that were blown up and pick up "Soul of a Traveler". Again we return to the burning tree, take the bow and shoot at the corpse hanging on the branches, pick it up from it "Kukri".

Next we have a fork: into a two-story building and onto a bridge. They will eventually lead you to one place. We go into the building, and at the end of the room there will be a corpse, and to the right of it there is a cage with dead people inside - this is a trap! We run up to the cage and start hitting it, it turns out to be an enemy, then we will meet several more of them, we shouldn’t be afraid of them, they are very weak, but they can unexpectedly attack and take off some health. We kill him and pick him up from the corpse "Coal Tar", and also knock down the suspended corpse and pick it up from it "The Soul of Abandoned Remains". There are boxes near the entrance from which we came, we break them and jump into the hole. There will lie Covenant Mark "Warriors of the Sun" , and "Estus soup", after activation, we fully restore health, and the soup is replenished here after each death or rest at the fire.

We go out through the doors and hit the next cell, and then lure out the enemy with red eyes. There will be two more cells at the exit, we destroy them and go out into the street. There will be garbage on the right, break it, go down the path and pick it up "The Soul of Abandoned Remains". We go back, two workers meet us in front, we lure them out one by one and deal with them. We go into the left house, kill the Worker and Slave there, and also pick up from the corpse "Whip". Meets us ahead "Evangelist", she stands at the top and shoots magic, we go to the right, there we pick up "Titanite Shard". We return to it, kill the worker with the hammer. Climbing up is very dangerous, there is almost no evasive maneuver there, it is better to take out a long-range weapon and kill her without climbing there. Now let's go up there and pick up "Titanite Shard" and we jump off.

We pass through the building and, if we are online, then a red phantom will invade our world, but not a real player, but an NPC. He is quite difficult to kill; he wields a large sword, a shield, and healing miracles. The main thing in battle is to strike first and not give him a break, and also to strike while healing. If you can’t kill him, you can simply run away. We go behind the building and kill crystal lizard, jump down and set it on fire bonfire.

A dangerous enemy awaits us ahead - the Butcher. His attacks are uninterruptible, he deals a lot of damage, and his attack streak is lightning fast. If you are a magician, then it will not be difficult for you to kill, but if you are a warrior, then you will have to bounce away from the blows, wait for the right moment and deliver two blows, and then bounce again and so on until victory. Ahead there is an area under fire, we return to the second fire and cross the bridge near the fire. We go to the stables, there will be two workers in the stalls. Picking it up from a corpse "The Great Soul of Abandoned Remains", then a Slave jumps on us with a two-handed sword, we go behind his back and deliver a critical blow, after the victory we exit through the doors. We pick it up from a corpse "Round shield with caduceus".

We leave the stable, smash the garbage on the left and open a new path. We kill the first slave, then we begin to lure out the enemies and deal with them one by one. We kill the first shooter on the left roof first, then go up the stairs and kill the second. When there are no more enemies left, we go down and collect items. Will lie on the roof "Incendiary Bombs", and also below "Shield made of boards", and next to him is a character with whom you can talk. We go down to the butcher, go behind him and sit in the cage. After the cutscene, we talk to the character and get the opportunity to join the covenant "Marauders".

Let's get out of here "Bone of Return", again we pass through the stable, go out through the doors, climb onto the stone bridge and jump down onto the narrow path. From above, workers throw bombs. We select "Titanite Shard", there are two opponents on the path, we kill them one by one, go into the room and light a fire. We go upstairs, kill the Workers and talk with the man who is locked in a cage. This is a pyromancer, you can call him "Temple of Fire". To the left of it we select "Hatchet". When you return to "Temple of Fire" don't forget to talk to the new assistant to get "Pyromancer's Flame" and new emotions.

We go down to the Butcher, go down the stairs, go behind the left building, kill the slave there and pick up "The Great Soul of Abandoned Remains". We go down to the road, first kill the dog that is standing on the road, and then the one that is sitting in the forest and pick it up near it "Coal". The boss will be waiting ahead, but it’s too early to go there. First, open the quick cut and talk to the ogre. We turn around and run back, go into the cave and go down into the sewer. Rats will meet us there; the enemies are not dangerous, but they will take you in numbers. We shower them with a hail of blows and bounce back, and then finish them off. There will be smoke ahead, hiding there "Huge Rat", kill her and get "Ring of Bloody Bite". We go up the stairs and open the door that leads to bonfire.

We return to the stone bridge where the Butchers stand and lure them out one by one. Then we go behind the destroyed house, kill the dog and pick up "Beautiful Skull". We go forward and see the tower we need, and to the left of it there is a character, he is not hostile, we talk to him and go into the tower. There will be another character standing at the elevator - Siegward of Katirina. He also wants to understand who is throwing spears from the tower, but bad luck, he cannot get up, because the elevator only goes down. We step on the elevator slab and do a somersault, the elevator will go down, and the desired elevator will come down to us. Below is the path to a new location, but it’s still early to get there. We go upstairs, go up the stairs, talk with the Ogre and negotiate for help. Now he will not shoot at you, but only at opponents. He also gives you "Young White Branch". You can kill him and then you can pick him up from his corpse "Ring of the Hawk".

We return to the area that is under fire. We lure the workers and wait for the Ogre to shoot them, and then we pick up all the items, go to the cemetery, and pick them up from the corpse "Cleric's Set", but Slave will jump from above. At the foot of the tree we select "The Undertaker's Ashes", Maid (Trader) V "Temple of Fire" will accept this item and expand its range.

There is a house near the shelling area, we go there, kill the worker with red eyes, get up, turn around, jump onto the ledge and pick up "Big Braid", we go up the stairs again, but we are already moving forward. After entering the room, there will be a fork, on the left the path to the Boss, on the right - to the tower.

We return to the “Temple of Fire”, give “Ashes of the Undertaker” and buy the key. Now we go to the sewer, where the rats live, and open the right door. We go down the stairs, pick up the “Halberd” and see the altar. You can atone for sins from him for killing NPCs. We move on, kill skeletons and collect items. We move on, exit the sewer, kill the Worker, as well as the Crystal Lizard, and pick up the “Titanite Shard”. Then we knock down the corpse and pick up "Red-White Shield +1", go down to the right room, kill the rats and pick up the “Saint’s Talisman”. We go up the stairs and talk with Irina from Karim, in the conversation we agree with her and send her to the “Temple of Fire”. We leave here and again find ourselves near the tower, we talk with the character in heavy armor, and now he can be called upon to fight the boss.

We go to the tower, take the elevator and halfway down the path we jump onto the boards. There will be someone we know standing there Siegward of Katirina, he wants to kill the fire demon, but he is scared. We take the initiative into our own hands, go down to the demon, and he will join us. The enemy is not simple, he has strong blows with an ax, he spews flames, and also jumps on you with his whole body. We dodge the blows, if he starts to jump, we jump back in the other direction. When he starts beating our ally, we approach from behind and attack. After winning we get "Stone of Fire" and a new emotion.

Picking it up from a corpse "The Bone of Return", there will be a small building near the fire, we climb onto the roof, knock down the corpses, and pick them up "Northern Armor Set". We go into the building to the right of the fire, select "Red Beetle Pills" and go up to the second floor. There will be cages with corpses hanging from the ceiling. But two cells are alive, we knock them down with throwing weapons, and then pick them up from the corpse "Beautiful Skull". We go into the next room, kill another cage and two dogs. We search the chest, and cells will jump from the ceiling, we dodge them and kill them. Two Evangelists are waiting for us at the top, we lure them out one by one and kill them.

Back in "Temple of Fire", Talk with "Leonhard Ring Finger" that stands by the throne. He will give you the key, with it move to the second bonfire “High Wall of Lothric”, go down, turn around and go down the elevator. There will be a strong enemy there. It will not be possible to knock down his attack, so we dodge or block with a shield. When he uses magic, we move away from him. We strike several times, go into defense, and so on until victory. After winning, we get the “Red Eye”, it allows you to invade other players in the guise of a red phantom.

We climb onto the roof and pick up "Flynn's Ring" and jump over to another tower, jump down and collect "Armor from Myrrh", break the boxes and select an extremely useful ring “ Ring with green flower" Then we go down and find ourselves at the entrance to the boss.

Boss Battle: "Cursed Great Tree"

We run up to the boss and start hitting him on the white growths, ordinary opponents will try to approach us, we go around them, and the tree itself will kill them. As soon as the growths on the stomach burst, the Boss will break the ground beneath him, and we will fall down, but this will not cause us any damage, but the opponents will no longer bother us, and we will be left alone with the boss.

A hand will come out of the boss’s stomach, which will deliver sweeping blows, and white growths will appear on his body, arms and legs. You can attack the hand, but the damage done will be less than with growths. Therefore, we twist it and hit the growths. When the Tree rises, we run back and wait for the yellow spots to disappear, after which we go behind the back and destroy the growths. We repeat this tactic until victory. In the end we will get "Soul of the Rotting Great Tree" And "Transposition furnace". The latter is included in "Temple of Fire" To "To Ludlet of Courland", thanks to her he will be able to create unique weapons from the souls of defeated bosses.

We return to the tower, go down and meet a new enemy - "Knight Escort". This is a mini version of the boss - Worthd of Cold Valley. The tactics are exactly the same, we stay behind him and strike at the right moment. You can also avoid attacks by hiding behind beams. After winning we get "Irithyllian Sword", collect all the items and go out through the gate and find ourselves in a new location.

The Path of the Victims

The location is extremely dangerous, you need to be extremely careful here, opponents do not forgive mistakes. We light a fire and walk along the narrow path. There we are met by a new enemy - Corvian. At first glance, this is an unremarkable enemy, but as soon as we get close, he will start screaming, and black wings will come out of his back, and then it will be very problematic to kill him. The easiest way to kill such enemies is even before they transform. If you don’t have time, then try to stay behind him. They also fall off cliffs very often, lure them to the edge, wait for the lunge and jump back.

Then we rise, jump from the ledge and kill the enemy in a jump, to the left of him we select "Stone of Loss". We approach two Corvians, their Shaman will be on the left, he makes a loud cry, to which the opponents react and immediately attack you. It also releases a poisonous cloud of gas. First we pick up from the carriage "Soul of a Traveler". Now, first of all, we kill the Shaman and then only ordinary opponents, otherwise we will have to confront waves of enemies. Then we kill the remaining opponents, return to the place where the shaman was, and jump down, climb onto the bridge and kill another Corvian. We select there "Titanite Shard", then we go down under the bridge, go around the corner, lure out an almost naked girl, during the attacks she lingers for a few seconds, at this time we attack and then wait for her to lunge again. After winning we get "Butcher Knife".

We go down the path and pick up the full set "Rogue Armor", we return to the bridge, lure out the opponents one by one and do not forget about the shaman. You can even run through them, there will be a fire ahead. After the murder, we jump off the bridge, kill the dogs and pick them up in the cave. Then we climb the bridge and go to the fire, talk with Anri from Astora and Horace, after which we receive an item for joining the covenant "Blue Guardians".

After the fire we move on and find ourselves in an even more sparse place. This is a swamp, which, as you move deeper, will slow down your movement, you will not be able to run and dodge, and the swamp itself will poison you and gradually reduce your health. There is also a wide variety of enemies, and not just one type for the entire location, as was the case before. Our first enemy will be Hollow with a huge branch instead of a spear. He delivers both piercing and sweeping blows. Killing such an enemy will not be a problem, the main thing is to be fast. We dodge the attack behind his back and deliver a critical blow. We go down below and kill them one by one. We turn to the right, kill the dog and Hollow, and pick up from the corpse "Titanite Shard."

We return upstairs, jump down onto the ledge, pick up "Soul of a Traveler" and go down. First of all, we kill the black insects that spray poison. To their right will be a hidden Ghoul with red eyes and a wooden cross on his back. He is extremely fast, lunging and throwing a series of punches before jumping away. It also tries to grab you and tear you apart with its fangs. We keep our distance and during his attack we stay to the side, deliver a couple of blows and then move away again. There will be another such enemy ahead of the tree. After the murder we go into the room. The door on the right will be closed, and the Black Knight will be waiting on the left. You need to be very careful with him, he wields a two-handed sword, but when attacking he opens up for a blow, we don’t miss such moments and stab him in the back. After the murder, go to the right and pick up "Mercenary Set", jump down and pick up "Mercenary's Scimitars", and will lie in a dead end "Faronn's Coal". It will need to be given to the blacksmith in the temple.

We return to the swamp and explore the left bank. We go to the crowd of hollow and black insects, kill them and pick them up "Titanite Shard". We go down to the trees and pick up "Shield with two dragons". We pick up at the cliff "Fading Soul", not forgetting to kill the dog first. Now we go upstairs and light a fire.

We jump to the Huge Crab, lure him to the ruins, climb on them and strike him in the fall. After killing, we finish off the small crabs and pick up « Green grass» . We go to the flooded ruins, kill the Ghoul there and collect the full set "Sorcerer's Equipment" And "Ring of the Sage". We go out, and on the left there will be a staircase leading to the upper floors of these ruins, where a boss battle awaits us. But we have not yet fully explored the location.

We go to the center of the swamps and pick up the set "Armor of the Fallen Knight". Behind the right tree will be "Grass Shield". Here, if we are in the guise of the Ignite One, a red phantom will invade us - Hazel Yellow Thumb. After killing it it will drop "Ice Pick Hazel" And "Jeremiah's Crown". And he will lie by the rock "The Sacred Tome of Karim". You can find it near the wall "Witch Doctor's Set" And "The Book of Pyromancy of the Great Swamp", which should be taken to our pyromancer.

Then you have two options: go to the ruins and kill the Boss, or go to the next swamp area. If we choose the boss, then we go into the ruins and kill the lizard from which it falls "Crystal Gem", we go up the stairs, kill the spearman and the magician. Then we jump down and get "Ring of Sacrifice" And "Shield Falcon". We return to the stairs and go into the next room. At the end there will be two wizards, and to the right and left there will be ordinary opponents. We deal with them and go forward for the battle with the boss, if you are in the guise of the Ignite One, then if you save Irina, there will be a sign for calling Aegon behind the pillar.

Boss Battle: "Crystal Master"

This boss is very different from the previous ones, because his attacks are magical. To make it easier for yourself, we put on equipment that gives maximum resistance to magic. We run to the boss and dodge the projectiles, you can also hide from them behind the beams. We run up to the boss and deliver several blows. After that, he teleports to another location. We repeat the procedure until he has 50% health left.

Now he will create phantoms, they die in one hit, but there are many of them. It’s better to run up to the boss and hit him a couple of times, after which the boss and the phantoms disappear. After winning we get "The Soul of a Crystal Master".

Temple of the Depths

We go upstairs, kill two butchers, and below is the Evangelist. If you jump down, where the butchers were, you can kill the lizard and pick up "The Herald's Set". Move forward and reach a bonfire. There will be a knight to the left of the fire, we kill him and pick him up from the corpse "Titanite Shard" And "Ashes of the Paladin", we take it to the merchant in the Fire Temple. If you go to the right of the stairs, you can pick up "Armoral Shield".

The gate is guarded by another enemy, the tactics are the same as with the knight. After winning we get "Spider Shield". We pass through the gate and first lure out the Bone Dogs, and then kill the crossbowmen. Don't forget to pick it up near the wall. We go further and reach the Cathedral, open the doors and find a fire, there will be two doors nearby, but they are closed. These are quick shortcuts; you can open them as you move through the location.

We leave the cathedral and kill the hollow ones at the altar, and pick them up from the corpse "Estus Shard". We pass forward and find ourselves in the cemetery, the opponents here are weak, but are constantly reborn, so it will be easier to just run forward, not paying attention to them. We go left and pick it up from the corpse "Astora Greatsword". We move forward and jump into the ditch, there we pick up "Executioner's Two-Handed Sword". Zombies will immediately begin to respawn, we turn around and run forward; there will be even more difficult opponents near the bridge. We run around them and move forward, there will be a square on the right. If you agreed with the Ogre from the Undead Settlement, he will fire at this area. We go there and collect the items, and then go up the stairs and pick them up from the coffin "Pursuer's Shield". We go down and throw down the ladder. There are monsters with larvae walking around here, but they are terribly afraid of fire. We hit them with a torch and they will die pretty quickly. We go to the right, we select "Tiatnit Shard", and below we kill the crystal lizard. There will be a small lizard ahead, and at the top of the tree - "Titanite Shard". We go further along the building, kill another lizard, and pick up behind the tree "Titanite Shard". We go down, kill another monster and pick up "Ringing Vine". Now we go upstairs, go right and jump out the window. So we opened a quick shortcut to the fire.

We go up along the cut that we opened, to do this we run out of the cathedral and jump down from the altar, and then go up the stairs. We move towards the large gate, but it is closed. We go to the right, there will be a shooter at the top, we lure him out, and he will fall down, and then we deal with two pyromancers. Now we go left and go to the roof, there we kill the thieves and go down, kill the crossbowmen. There will be a corpse to the right, but as soon as you approach, two slaves will jump on you, and an Evangelist will stand parallel.

We go down to where there were three crossbowmen and go down. We kill the enemy with the halberd, and then clear the room with the slaves. Then we go upstairs, lure everyone out one by one and open the doors to the Temple. We go into the corridor, kill the slime and go down to the next room. There we kill the Deacons, go further and find ourselves at the elevator. This is a quick shortcut to the fire. We highly recommend using it once you are at the top. We open the door and find ourselves right next to the fire.

We go back and go to the second giant. There will be a small area to the right of it, go there and pull the lever. In the main hall there was the same lever, they raise the gate, which can later be passed through. Now let's take care of the second giant, first we kill all the slugs, and then we run under his feet and kill him. Now we can assemble "Dorran's Set", "Pale Tongue" And "The Big Soul of the Unknown Traveler". We go up the stairs and find ourselves at the altar, there we kill two magicians and one knight with a two-handed sword. And behind the benches we pick up "Coal". Now we can go around the altar and go down to the boss, but we have another secret area.

How to get into the Fingers of Rosaria covenant and redistribute stat points?

We return to the fire, go left and go up the elevator, kill the shooter and go to the ledge and go left, there we go up the stairs and kill the magician, and then jump down. We kill slaves, as well as an enemy with an ax. There will still be Hollow with a halberd ahead. On the right you can go down and pick up "Crossbow". We reach the end and select "Pale Tongue".

We go back and go right. Here we find ourselves on a very narrow passage, we lure out the Knights of the Temple and wait for them to fall, there will also be several slaves here. We go to where the crossbowman was and jump down, then the Larvae will jump on us, they can be easily killed with a torch. We go further and kill more larvae, and at the end there will be one Larva, but he will not attack you, kill him and get the “Red Chalk”. We open the door on the right and find ourselves at the fire, and Rosaria will be ahead, we talk to her and find ourselves in the covenant "Fingers of the Rosary". You can change her appearance or redistribute her stat points.

Now we return to the altar and go through the fog for a boss fight.

Boss Battle: Deacons of the Deep

The battle does not take place specifically with one enemy, but with an abundance of deacons. There is no point in killing everyone, since they are constantly reborn. In the first phase, we kill the deacon, which is highlighted in red; after his death, part of the boss’s health will be taken away, and the red sphere will go to another Deacon. We repeat the procedure until the boss has 50% health left.

Now the second phase of the battle begins. Everything is the same, but now it appears "Archbishop with retinue", they heal the boss if you move far away, and also deal darkness damage and curse the character. First of all, we kill them, and then the Deacon with a red glow. After winning we get "Little doll" And "The Soul of Deacons from the Depths".

Farron Citadel

We move to the second fire in the Path of Sacrifices location and go to the center of the location. There will be two guards standing by the passage, one with a hammer, the other with a two-handed sword. We lure them out one by one and after victory we get "Huge Club" And "Exile's Greatsword". Going into Farron Citadel, pick up "Bone of Return" and go down the stairs to the fire.

After the fire you will meet two Slugs, they are weak, but shoot poison. Also, most surfaces will poison you and slow you down. Here we need to light three fires and open the doors to the Blood of the Wolf.

We go around the left corner and pick up "Lump of Purple Moss". And ahead you can pick up a spell "Iron Flesh". Then we go around the swamp along the hill. Picking up along the way "Titanite Shard", and then we run to the destroyed bridge and to the right of it we pick up "Estus Shard". Now we can go to the left island and pick up "Rainbow Stone". Next, the wisest thing to do would be to open a fire; near the fallen tower there is a road to the right. We go up it, a spearman will attack in front of us, we dodge his attacks or start spamming, after a couple of hits he will withdraw his shield, and killing him will not be a problem. On the right there will be a certain structure with a flame, approach and click [A], thus we lit one fire. We go down and turn right, kill the dark spirit at the tower and get the “Connoisseur's Coal”. We go to the very end and go upstairs, there we light the second fire. Then we go to the bridge, kill two spearmen and light a fire.

We go down and turn left, go into the forest and kill the crab. After the victory we pick it up from the tree "Titanite Shard", we go to the wall, which was guarded by the crab, and collect the items. We go along the wall, at the end we kill the spearmen and pick up "Scroll of Sign". We go around the rock and come to a bridge that leads back to the fire. But there is a tower on the side, in which we kill the accumulated slugs, and pick up "Burning Bone Shard". Further along the wall to the stairs, but we don’t go up yet, but go to the island where Estus Soup stands and "Amulet of the Sun". We run across to the neighboring island and pick up the “Titanite Fragment”, run across to the next island and pick up the “Set of the Nameless Knight” on the right. Then we go up to the last fire and kill the shaman. We put out the fire, and now the doors have opened for us, there will be a battle with the boss. But we still have unfinished business.

We break the tombstones and go down into the swamp. We turn around and kill the Basilisks, go forward to the end, then there will be a cave on the right. And in it - "Golden Scroll" And "Seth Robe of the Maiden". Now we return to the stairs. We rise and walk along the balcony, kill "crystal lizard", and on the right we hit the wall - this is an illusory wall. We select "Dreamer's Ashes" and we jump off. Here we have a fire and old wolf of farron. Talk to him and get the opportunity to join the covenant "Watchdogs of Farron". We light a fire and take the elevator up. There will be a Lost Demon on the left, but before the battle with him it is better to go to the right. We jump down and go into the area behind the gate. We've been here before, but on the other side. Here we kill two crystal lizards, and pick up from the corpses "Thunder Spear" And " Dragon's coat of arms". We go upstairs, killing the soldiers at the same time, and then we jump down and go to the demon.

Mini-boss fight: Lost Demon

We run to the boss, and as soon as he starts to swing, we do a somersault under his belly or behind his back. There we inflict several blows on him, and as soon as he jumps, we jump to the side. Then we repeat the tactics until victory. Also, do not forget that he can throw stones and hit with his tail. You especially need to beware of his grab; if he catches you, he will throw you in the direction in which he is looking. Therefore, there is a chance that he will throw you down and you will die. After winning we get "Soul of a Lost Demon".

It's time to move towards the boss. We go through the doors that have opened, go up the slope and kill the shaman there. We go down and go forward, Dark spirits will appear there and start killing the guards. While they are fighting, we go to the tree and pick up “Coal”, go up the right slope and pick up “Black Beetle Pill”. We return to the road and go back, but then turn right into a stone room. There we light a fire, kill the spearmen and meet the Giant Crystal Lizard, kill it and open the door to the Path of Sacrifices. Then we go back, follow the road, at the end we open the doors and find ourselves in a battle with the boss.

Boss Battle: "Guardians of the Abyss"

The first phase of the battle is quite easy. There will be one not very strong Guardian, and a second Guardian will come to his aid, but as an ordinary enemy. You can kill him with 3-4 hits. A third one will also come, he will have red eyes, and he will attack both the boss and you. Therefore, we begin to beat the boss, and as soon as the second one appears, we begin to run around the arena and wait for the third one. When the third one attacks one of the Guardians, we begin to help him. Once the boss dies, the second phase will begin after a cutscene.

This is where the hard part begins. No one else will come to help, the battle will take place with only one Guardian, but he is ignited and wields a fiery sword, which, after a blow, leaves fiery traces that cause additional damage. We recommend taking a shield with 100% blocking of physical damage and high resistance to fire. You won’t be able to block all attacks, his blows greatly drain your stamina, but blocking 1-2 attacks will be extremely useful. The easiest way to kill him is at a distance; we move away from him, and when he lunges, we dodge to the side and start hitting the boss. Then we move away again and repeat what we have done. After winning we get "Ashes of the Overlord" And "Soul of Wolf's Blood".

We light a fire and approach the wall, it will move back, and we will have access to a new location.

Catacombs of Carthus

We go down the stairs, and two paths open to us: to the left or to the right down. First, we go left, kill the skeleton, and on the bridge we meet a skeleton in armor, it deals a lot of damage, has increased health, and also becomes invisible. A shield or magic will be a great help in battle. And of course he can be pushed off the bridge. We select "Carthus blush", and two skeletons will come out towards us from the entrance. There will be another one on the stairs, go up it and kill a few more skeletons. Now we return to the bridge and jump onto the right ledge, kill the archer and pick up "The Book of Carthus's Pyromancy". And hit the wall on the right, and it will disappear, we kill another skeleton, go up the stairs, so we found ourselves almost at the beginning of the location, right at the bridge, we escape along the stairs, kill two skeletons, and then two more armored skeletons. On the right we select "Titanite Shard" and go further, kill a bunch of skeletons and talk to Henri. We go out and kill the lizard. Now we go back to the previous room and cross the bridge. We reach the end and jump down onto the ledge, kill the skeletons and go into the next room. (be careful, there is a huge boulder rolling down the stairs, move aside when it approaches).

Next there will be several skeletons, we kill first the one that throws darkness, and then the rest. There will be vessels here, try to break as few vessels as possible, because projectiles of darkness fly out of some, at the end of all the vessels there will be "Carthus' Milk Ring". We go forward, kill the next armored skeleton, and there will be two more ahead, we lure them out one by one. We go around the hole and pick up "Coal", now we don’t jump off, but go to the right passage, wait for the “Boulder” to pass, and pick up on the left "Large Titanite Shard", then we run forward and turn right, here we have the second bonfire.

Now we go to the left, where the boulder goes. There are a lot of rats there, as well as a Giant Rat lurking to the right and an Armored Skeleton guarding a Titanite Shard. If you go right, beware of the skeletons on wheels and the Slime that will fall from the ceiling. The skeletons will try to run over you, we jump to the side and then start hitting, they have quite a bit of health, so they don't cause any problems. There will be a corpse around the corner that you can pick up from "Bloody Ring of Carthus", but as soon as you approach the corpse, a slime will jump on you, so be careful.

We return to the passage with the rats and go through the first door, there is a dead end, but later this path will serve as a quick shortcut for us. We pick it up from a corpse "Coal", and then a dark spirit invades our world "Knight Slayer Tsorig". We kill him and get " Thank you" And "Ring of the Knight Slayer". We return to the room with rats. We kill Swordsman Karthus and go up the stairs, there will be another swordsman, as well as two skeletons, one of which will shoot at you. First of all, we kill the shooter, and then the rest. In the back of the room we select "Large Titanite Shard" And " Ashes of the Gravekeeper". Then we go down and go into the last passage, kill the lizard. Further, the Swordsman of Karthus will be standing at the cliff; we approach him from behind and deliver a critical blow or kick him. We go forward and find ourselves near the bridge, first of all we pull the lever and open that very quick cut. Then we run forward, sticking to the right side, and climb the slope. There is a character standing there - Henri. Talking to him/her is very important if you want to get the 3rd ending. After that, we run along the bridge and at the end we hit the ropes, and the bridge will collapse, and the skeletons running after us will fall down.

Boss Battle: "High Overlord Wolnir"

Activate the jug from the skull and select "The Tombkeeper's Book of Pyromancy" After this, the boss appears and the battle begins.

The Supreme Overlord Volnir is a huge skeleton. The entire location is in darkness, and there are cliffs on the right and left. There is no point in beating the boss in the usual way; in this battle you need to destroy the bracelets; as soon as all the bracelets are destroyed, the boss will die. First of all, we destroy the bracelets on the left hand, since this is the easiest to do. The right hand is more difficult, since it is in the fog, which causes damage. It is worth noting that if each bracelet breaks, the boss can take out a sword or summon skeletons. The sword is quite easy to dodge as the attacks are quite slow. And if skeletons appear, then the main thing is to kill the red-eyed skeleton, and you can ignore the rest. After defeating the boss, we receive the “Soul of the High Overlord Volnir”.

Smoldering Lake

After the victory we kindle bonfire, and then we return to the bridge, approach it and go down. If it is not destroyed, then hit the ropes and then go down. There will be standing Fire Demon, in order not to fight with him, we run further and hit the chest, this mimic. We lure him to the Demon, and they will begin to fight. The Mimic will kill him or remove a significant portion of his health. We go down and pick up objects, then we run forward, at the end of the corridor we take "The Witch's Ring". Then we turn around and go to the left passage, kindle bonfire and, having passed further, we find ourselves in the location "Smoldering Lake".

Objects are scattered on the lake, there is a boss on the left, but the path is blocked by snakes, and the lake itself is fired upon by ballistas. We go along the right side and turn into the cave, kill lizard, and at the end there will be a hostile Horace. We pick it up from his corpse "Llewellyn's Shield". We return to the lake, and opposite there will be a small stone area, we provoke the ballista, it will shoot and punch a hole in the ground. There will be behind worm, we run behind him and stand behind the stone, the ballista will start shooting at you, but will hit him and kill him. From his corpse you can pick up "Thunder Stake" And "Burning Bone Shard". Here you can select "Shield of Desires", which increases the number of souls received from defeated opponents. Then you can go to the boss, but the location has not yet been fully explored. We climb the slope and open bonfire.

Next you will be greeted by a pyromancer demon. An extremely dangerous enemy that attacks with fire spheres. The main thing is not to let him breathe and attack without stopping. We go down the stairs, and there will be another demon of the same kind below, we lure him to the stairs and kill him. There will be another one a little further. Then we rise and go in the opposite direction, there we kill the spearmen with poisonous breath. There will be a fiery slime and a pyromancer ahead, kill them and pick them up from the corpse "Coal". Then we go down and go to the end, there will be a passage on the right, but we go into the second one, there at the end there will be an illusory wall, behind which stands "Black Knight". Killing him will not be a problem, since he is slow, we dodge and attack. We select on the corpse "Black Knight's Greatsword". We go further, kill the spearman and go into the right corridor, there we pick up "Coal". Now we turn around and go up the stairs to bonfire.

There will be a wall in the corner that is slightly different from the rest of the room, this illusory wall, turn left and here a fire slug will jump, there will also be slugs jumping ahead, and at the very end there will be a "Estus Shard". We return to the fire and kill the demon, and there will be a lizard on the right, and then we go to the next room, where we kill the opponents. We return to the fire, go down the stairs and run to the area with the demons, here we go into the left corridor, turn left and kill the rats. There will be a brick wall ahead - this is another illusory wall. We reach the dead spider and pick it up "The Book of Quialna's Pyromancy". We go down to the lava and use all the items that improve fire resistance. We select "Poisonous Fog" And "Talisman of Gray Hair". Now we return to the rats, go into the corridor and go down the stairs to the huge rat.

Here to the left of it there will be a descent leading to toads that emit curse fog. The main thing when fighting them is to not let the curse gauge fill up, as soon as it fills up you will die. There will be a corpse ahead, from which we select "Titanite Scale". Ahead there will be another area with lava, where there will be "Knight Slayer Tsorig", you can pick it up from his corpse "Giant Smoky Sword" And "Dark Iron Shield". Then we again increase our resistance to fire and go into the lava, pick up "Coal" And "Sacred Flame". Now we go back up the stairs and go up the next one. The Black Knight will be standing at the other end of the bridge; it would be better to lure him to you so as not to fight on the bridge. At the end there will be a staircase, go up it, and then up the second one, but don’t go forward, but first jump onto the ledge and pick up "Dragon Rider's Bow". We rise again and kill the skeletons on wheels and the Swordsman Karthus. Then we run under the ballista and activate lever arm, now she will no longer shoot, and you can collect all the items in the lake. Now you can kill the boss, we go to where the huge worm was and go through the fog.

Boss Battle: "Old Demon King"

Quite a difficult boss, as he has unpredictable attacks and can always extend his combo. The easiest way to kill him is with magic, but if you are a warrior, you will have to work hard. The boss has two safe stages: when he breathes fire and when he lets out meteor shower. At this time, you can calmly run up and attack him. As soon as the boss has 10% health left, he will fall, and then you can safely finish him off. You can also forget about the shield, it is useless here. After winning, you will receive the "Soul of the Old Demon King".

Irithyll of the Cold Valley

We go out through the doors and find ourselves in a new location - Irithyll of the Cold Valley. On the left there will be the first fire of the location, light it and go out onto the bridge, turn back, and a mini boss will appear - the Sulivan Monster. It is not difficult, the main thing is to stay close to its tail. After killing we get "Right Eye of the Pontiff". Then we pass through the bridge and light another fire. Now you need to go back to the bridge and activate the summoning sign from Sirris. You will go to defend Sirris. After that, return to Firelink Shrine and talk to her, she will give you "Consecrated Panzerbreaker" And "Ring of the Silver Cat", now we can return to the Central Irithyll bonfire.

We go up the stairs, and there will be three Knights of the Pontiff ahead. Fighting them all at once is suicide, lure them out one by one and beware of the dark spheres. We move towards the fountain, there will be a Fire Witch there, the enemy is not difficult, the main thing is not to get hit by pyromancy and stay close to her, she can only cause pain if you are at a distance. There will be another witch at the top, here you need to run up to her very quickly. Since there is a patrol of two knights along the road, and if they notice you, then instead of one witch you will have to fight three difficult opponents at once. We kill the witch, we select "Large Titanite Shard" and wait for the knights to pass. We go out, and on the left there will be a ledge on which there is crystal lizard, we kill her, and on the right there will be illusory wall. Behind the stairs there will be another Knight of the Pontiff, to the right of the stairs "Large Titanite Shard", and the Preacher will stand below, from whom the spell will fall "Locust", there will be a Witch Tree Branch near the tree, and a door opens here that leads to the fire. We return again to the ledge where the illusory wall was, but we approach the central building at the end. To his right will lie "Large Titanite Shard", and to the left of it is the third fire. We jump onto the witch, and then go into the room with the knight, kill him and see a small staircase leading into the wall - this, of course, illusory wall, and behind it lies "Ring of Power over Magic". We leave through the central entrance and go right, go to the Church of Yorshka and light up bonfire.

Talking to Henri of Astora and we get "Ring of the Evil Eye". In the corner there will be a Pilgrim disguised as a statue.

IT IS IMPORTANT: Don't kill him if you want the ending "Usurpation of Fire". Once you kill him, your questline to get the third ending will stop, and Yuria will stop talking to you.

Now we go down and find ourselves in the cemetery. We go to the right, and at the tombstone a dark phantom will invade you - Creighton the Wanderer. After winning we get "Dragon Slayer Ax". We return to the Central Irithyll bonfire, cross the bridge and pick up "Creighton's Set". We go to the cemetery and go down even lower, on the left there will be an area with dogs, and on the right - dark room with an abundance of disguised enemies. You can see them by their glowing eyes. We clear the first floor and go up the stairs, which is on the right wall. We select there "Stone of Loss", kill two opponents and jump onto the ledge. We select from the chest "The Spear of Yorshka". We go out into the open space and jump onto the ledge, there will be two opponents down. The last arch will have an illusory wall, and behind it will be a lizard.

We descend into the flooded area, at first glance it is calm, but beware of the white islands: these are hidden spiders. We go behind the stairs, there we kill the first spider and pick up "Ring of Sacrifice". Then we go to a small island and turn right, there we kill spiders and pick up "Powerful Treatment". We return to the island, and ahead there will be an arch leading further, but first we will go a little further and find a fire. It will also have a staircase leading to a new location. But there is still unfinished business.

We go through that arch and kill the spiders, go up the stairs and meet Sigvarda of Katarina, after the conversation he will give you a spell "Power Wave", and his quest line will continue, and he will go to a new location. Now we go up the stairs and find ourselves in the hall, the walls are hung with paintings that are references to previous games. At the end of the first floor there is a Black Knight, and on the second floor there are two more, and one of them will shoot at you with a huge bow. First we kill the first knight, then we go up to the second floor and kill two more knights, on the other side there will be three chests, we search them, and in one of them there will be "Smough's Hammer". We go down to the first floor and go outside, there will be dogs and magicians on the stairs, first we lure the dogs out, and then we deal with the magicians. Further to the left of the fountain and on the stairs there will be more magicians and one dog. Here we take the elevator and open a quick shortcut. Now we go down again and go up the stairs, then we go along spiral staircase, but we don’t go into the building, but go right and jump down. Here we kill one enemy and go up the stairs. There is nothing interesting below, so we can immediately go through the open passage. Here on the stairs there will be a Knight of the Pontiff with a scythe, and then there will be another one. We kill them and find ourselves at the passage to the boss of the location, but first we recommend opening a quick shortcut to the boss. We go down the far stairs, kill two opponents and open the doors. The shortcut to the Yorshka Church bonfire is now open. We return upstairs, go onto a small balcony, jump down and pick up "Ring of the Firstborn of the Sun". Now we return upstairs and go to the battle with the boss.

Boss Battle: "Pontifex Sulivan"

The boss is quite simple if you know a little trick. Most of his attacks will not hit you if you stand close to the boss. When he swings his fiery sword, we dodge under his arm and deliver a few more blows. When you remove 50% of the boss's health, he will sit down and begin summoning a copy of himself. At this time, run up, strike 2-3 times and run away. Now he has a shadow copy, all it does is completely repeat the boss's attacks, but with a delay of 1-2 seconds. The main thing is not to get hit by jumping attacks and the magic arrow that is fired first by the boss, and then by his shadow. You can kill the shadow first, it has quite little health, but then he will call it again, so we recommend focusing your attention on the boss himself. The tactics are the same, we rest against his stomach and recoil when he attacks. After winning we get "The Soul of Pontiff Sulivan."

Anor Londo

We light a fire and leave the building. THIS IS INTERESTING: The main PvP zone in the game is located here. Also in this location other players from the covenant will invade you "Loyal to Aldrick". If they bother you, do not light yourself with coal.

There will be two lizards below, if you missed one, then rest by the fire and return to it, and it will appear. We move forward and, finding ourselves in the courtyard with the giants, go left. Here we kill opponents and pick up "Ring with a Dark Stone". We turn around and go up the stairs, go left and pick up "Large Titanite Chunk". We go back a little and go into the building, activate the elevator, and we find ourselves at the fire. We rise and run to the left, there will be a lizard, now we go to reverse side, there will be a chest there - it's a Mimic! We kill him and get "Golden Ritual Spear". We return to the magicians and kill the closest ones, the main thing is not to stop and be on the move, then they will not cause problems. There will be two Doran Knights standing below. They are simple, the main thing is to lure first one, and then the other. After winning you can get "Doran Spears". When the giant stands up, run past and go up the stairs, there is no point in killing him, since for killing him you will only get "Coal".

Once indoors, hit the wall and go down. There will be two Sulivan Beasts here. We shoot first at the first one and begin to beat him. The main thing is not to get hit, when he starts attacking you, dodge towards his mouth and beware of lightning strikes. Also kill the second one, after victory we get "Ring of Favor", and from the corpse we select "Testimony of Loyalty". We light a fire and talk to Archdeacon McDonnell. He will give you an item with which you can join the covenant "Loyal to Aldrick".

We go upstairs and find ourselves in the tower. Pay attention to the Silver Knights, they shoot with huge bows and can throw you into the abyss. We run forward along the right roof, run past the first knight and jump down onto the ledge. We select "Ashes of the Easterner" and go up the stairs. Now we kill the knights one by one. Having killed the last knight, on the farthest slope we go down it, cross the bridge, go down the stairs and open the doors. Now we have the quick cut open. We return upstairs, to the left of the descent along which you walked, there will be a ledge, jump and pick up "Dragon Slayer's Greatbow". We jump onto the roof and then onto the ground. We go to the cut that was opened, and again we find ourselves at the top. We go into the room and see the statue, hit it and talk with the pilgrim. We go further and select "Brass set". And then Anri will lie (provided that you talked to her at all key points, received devastation and talked to Yuria). We approach Anri and watch the cut-scene. Then we go right and go forward, there we take it from the chest "Ring of Change". We go back and, once outside, pull the lever, and a huge platform will come down to us. We rise to its top, activate the lever and rise to the fire.

Now we go down the stairs on the platform and go to the tower. Don't be alarmed that there is no bridge here, it is invisible. We light a fire and talk to "Captain of Yorshka's squad." She will give you a covenant item "Blades of the Dark Moon", and will also accept Tokens of Loyalty from you to increase your rank. We go into the tower and jump onto the beam, pick up "Saber of the Painting Guardian" and jump onto the ledge, and then onto the next ledge and pick up "Picture Guardian Set". We jump down from the fire and move back to Anor Londo.

We go up the stairs a little and quickly kill the knight with a spear, and then the second. At the top we turn right and kill the third one. Now go left and pick it up from the dead giant "Giant's Coal". We go up the stairs and kill the magicians on the left, then go down and kill the last deacons. Slime will jump from above, but it is not necessary to kill it. We go to the big gate and he will jump off "Cursed from the Deep". The tactics are the same: we put on the ring to resist the curse, stay close to the back and do not fall under the cloud of the curse. After winning we get "Aldrick's Ruby", and on the right we activate the lever and open the gate, thereby opening a quick cut. We turn around and go through the fog for the boss battle.

Boss Battle: "Aldrik, Eater of Gods"

The boss attacks with small spheres that aim at you and cause significant damage. Periodically, he will attack you with a Soul Spear, as well as take a bow and shoot a huge number of arrows, which will fall on you from above. In the second phase, the arrows will not fall in a specific area, but will follow you.

The main thing in the battle is to constantly be near the boss; there is no point in hiding behind the columns, since the Soul Spear destroys them. Get close and strike as many times as you can. When he creates a wormhole in the floor, run back, as it will cause you damage, and the boss himself will move to another corner. As soon as he climbs into this wormhole, run back to the middle of the arena so that you can quickly reach the boss when he appears in another corner. We repeat this tactic until the boss has 50% health left and goes into the second phase.

In the second phase, the boss will begin to burn with fire, and the arrows will begin to follow you. It's not easy to dodge the arrows, you need to somersault twice in one direction, and then somersault in the other direction. As soon as the attack with arrows ends, we run up to the boss and hit him until he climbs into the wormhole. After winning we get "Soul of Aldrick" And "Ashes of the Overlord".

Irithyll Dungeon

We return to the fire and go down the stairs. There will be a knight on the left, and a Fire Witch at the bottom. we go outside, and our world is invaded "Alva, Seeker of the Outcasts", after the victory we get "Murakumo". We go further and light a fire. There will be a new type of opponent ahead - the Jailer. It reduces your maximum health, and the more you are around it, the more your health will decrease, even to the point of death. Best tactic there will be spam, we run up and start hitting until the stamina runs out or the enemy dies. It is necessary to destroy it as quickly as possible, literally in a matter of seconds. Heavy weapons greatly facilitate the passage, as they immobilize the enemy. On the right will be open camera, the undead will jump out from there and try to throw you down, so we do a somersault in front of the camera. And there will be several more Jailers ahead. We go to the right and hit one of the Jailers in the fall, the whole room will be in cages with undead, but this is not a simple decoration, but enemies.

We go forward and turn right, kill the undead and pick up "The Big Soul of the Nameless Soldier". There will be a camera ahead on the right, kill the undead and pick up "Old Sorcerer's Set". And in the next chamber we kill the Larval corpse and get "Big Magic Shield". Then we return and go up to the second floor, go through the bridge and kill the Jailer. There will be a hole in one of the chambers, and behind it there will be a non-hostile monster and a door, open it, turn left and open a quick shortcut. We go into another chamber and select "The Fugitive's Key". Returning to the shortcut, we go right and jump onto the jailer, and then kill two more. There will be another chamber on the left, in it we kill the Prisoner and pick up "A Simple Gem". Further behind the barrel there will be a cage with an enemy, kill him, go further and kill the lizard. There will be another Prisoner in the next cell.

We go outside and pick up "Bone of Return", now we run back, go up to the second floor, run across the bridge and turn left. At the end there will be a door, open it and jump down, pick up the Ring with the furious dragon and find yourself in the place from where you fled. Below we kill the first enemy, and then two at the entrance. We go into the next room and kill Mimic.

There will be several opponents in the next room, we lure them out and deal with them. We go down the stairs, open the door and find ourselves at the sleeping giant. We go back, go left and at the very end we jump into the opening. We cross the small bridge and pick up "Pick". Rats will immediately crawl out of the sewer, kill them and go there. There will be a hole on the right, from which more rats will crawl out. But we don’t go there ourselves, first we go to the very end, search the left chest and pick up "Keys to the Old Cell", and the right one is Mimic, after his death we select "Ring of Power over Darkness". Basilisks will jump from above, kill them and go down into the hole in the wall from which the rats were climbing.

There will be two huge rats, we go upstairs and deal with them one by one. There we open the doors and find ourselves in a spacious area with a huge number of Jailers. We go to the right and pick it up from the corpse "Dragon Torso Stone"(it will allow you to gain the body of the Dragon. But remember that there will be no turning back. Also, in order to activate that stone, you must remove all your armor.) We go to the elevator, but as soon as we start going up, we jump onto the ledge and pick up "Thunder Blade". We jump down, activate the lever and go up the elevator again. We open the doors and get another quick cut.

We return to the location with the jailers. We go left and go into the room with the Prisoners, kill them and pick them up "Desecrated Coal". We open the doors and begin to lure out the Jailers. After you have dealt with them, we select in the center "Coal", and on the left in the corner we select "Alva's Set". We go into the left corridor and kill Mimic, open the doors and pick up “ Ashes of the Yellow Scientist" and a ring "Crown of Dawn". We go forward and find ourselves in a new location.

Defiled Capital

We approach the bridge, and then a Gargoyle jumps off. The main thing is not to get hit in flight, we dodge and deliver several blows. Also, you should not stand by the left wing, as she likes to hit with it and reduce her stamina. After the victory, we cross the bridge, jump down below, and go up the stairs. We select "Burning Bone Shard" and light a fire.

We go down the stairs we climbed, jump off, go up the stairs and pick up "Rusty Coin". Here a Gargoyle will jump on us, we kill it and go across the bridge. We turn left and kill the lizard. Further to the right there will be another lizard. We go forward and pick up from the corpse « gold coin» . We go out onto the balcony and find ourselves above a toxic swamp with spiders. First of all, we go to the right and select the antidote for the toxin. We jump down and start killing the spiders one by one. On the right near the rock we select "Burning Bone Shard", and from the opposite side we select "Ring of Cursed Bite". Then we approach the task and go around it on the left side. We select "Stone of Loss", open the door and find ourselves in a room with Ogres. They are hostile, but there is no point in killing them. We better run forward and pick it up "Stone of Purification" and we go out to the swamp. Now it’s time to climb to the roof of this building; this can be done along the stairs, which are located on the right side.

There will be a gap in the wall, kill the Ogre and pick up "Court Sorcerer's Set". There will be a Mimic on the left, killing him, we get "Court Sorcerer's Staff". We exit through the gap and go right along the roof. We will be met by a dangerous sorcerer, the main thing in the battle with him is to prevent him from using spells. We come close and start hitting until the stamina runs out, after winning we get "Logan's Scroll". There will be a hole in the wall, jump there and pick it up below "Wrath of the gods". We return to the roof and go up the stairs. Here we find ourselves in a location "Dungeon of Irithyll". It's empty, but in fact the jailers are hiding here. We hit the air near the wall and they will appear. At the end of this corridor we select "The Jailer's Keys". Now we jump down and find ourselves at the giant, where Siegward sits. Here we go to the area where the Jailers are walking in a circle, open the last door on the right. Karla will sit here, if you call her to the Fire Temple, she will teach you dark spells.

It's time to return to the roof where the sorcerer was killed. We run up and jump into the open doors in the wall. There we open the cage and free Siegward. For your help he will give you "Titanite Shard", and in the chamber we select "Golden Ring of the Greedy Serpent". We return again to the fire in the “Desecrated Capital” location and go down the stairs.

There will be a gargoyle on the bridge, lure it to us, pick it up "Big Arrow Oni", and then we cross the bridge to the other side. On the left will be the Court Sorcerers, and on the left will be the Gargoyle. We provoke the gargoyle, and then go up the stairs, where it won’t reach you, and you can kill it without any problems. We kill the sorcerers and go forward, there will be two more squads of sorcerers. We go to the right and kill the sorcerers. We return to the bridge, jump down onto the ledge, pick up "They are the great bow of the storm" and jump down. So we returned to where the sorcerers were killed. We pick up near the wall "Rusty Coin", and at the cliff we pick up another one. We go into the premises and there will be a gargoyle near the ceiling, kill it, and then the sorcerers. There will be two chests here - these are Mimics! One of them will drop one of the best shields in the game - "Great Shield of Glory". There will be another chest on the parallel side, pick it up from it "Coal". We return to the corridor and go through the fog for a boss battle.

Boss Fight: "Yorm the Giant"

If you completed Siegward's storyline from Katarina, he will help you during the boss battle. But if you die or Siegward dies, then he will not help the second time.

The boss has enormous resistance to all effects, and is perfectly protected from magic and physical damage. You need a special approach to him; you can’t just kill him. We run to the throne and pick up "Lord of Storms". This is a special sword designed for boss battles. Clamp LT and charge the sword and release a wave at the boss. Such a blow deals a colossal amount of damage and also knocks him down. After the blow, we immediately begin to charge the sword and spin around at his feet, move a short distance away from him and again release the wave. In the second phase, the boss will have fire damage, the main thing is not to fall under his attacks and release waves at him. The fight is quite easy, if you completed Siegward's storyline, then the boss will not be able to oppose you. After winning we get "The Soul of the Giant Yhorm" And "Ashes of the Overlord".

Lothric Castle

After defeating the three Lords of Ash, you will be transported to the High Wall of Lothric location and a boss battle will begin.

Boss Battle: "Coldvale Dancer"

The boss deals a large amount of damage, and most of the attacks are sweeping. It is best to stay near your back or legs. It's also easy to kill her with magic. We deliver several blows and then dodge the attacks. As soon as the boss reaches 50% health, the Dancer will pull out a second sword that deals Dark damage. When the Dancer starts spinning, run away from her as far as possible. Then we deliver several blows, move away from her again and wait for the attack. After winning we get "The Soul of the Cold Valley Dancer."

We approach the statue, and after the cut-scene the stairs descend. We go up it, go straight along the corridor and first of all kill the Deacon, and then the Knight of Lothric. Then we go left and kill another Deacon and two Knights. In the next room there will be the first bonfire of the location.

Returning to the location "Castle of Lothric". We go straight and pick it up from the chest "Prayer Set". There will be several hollows ahead, first we kill the swordsman, and there will be a shooter in front. Below will lie "Titanite Shard", but as soon as you pick it up, several hollow ones will come out at you. We go into the room, and the Winged Knight will jump on us, kill him, pick him up "Shimmering Titanite" and go up the stairs. There will be an illusory wall here, hit it, go into the hidden area and pick it up from the painting "Winged Knight Set". We go down and deal with two arrows ahead, there will be a descent on the left, we kill the hollow ones there and take them "Titanite Chunk". We go up the central staircase and find ourselves at the second bonfire of the location.

We rise and see two Wyverns in front of us; going straight to them is sheer suicide. First of all, we go left, kill the knight and pick up "Big Peak". We go to the bridge to the Wyverns, approach the edge and jump onto the far ledge, there will be a Rotten one below so that he does not turn, quickly run to him and kill him in his usual form, and pick him up around the corner "Shimmering Titanite". We select from one corpse "Titanite Chunk", around the corner we kill another Rotten and pick up "Titanite Chunk". We pass through the room and kill the lizard, then the dodgers will attack us. It’s not difficult to kill them, the main thing is not to get hit by a series of blows, the first one will be at the right barrels, four more will climb from the wall. We go to the tower and kill the Winged Knight and the Hollow One, who threw Lloyd's Amulet at us, and also pick up "Hunting Crossbow" and jump down to the fire.

Again we go to the bridge to the Wyverns, but we already jump onto the nearest ledge. On the right we select "Titanite Chunk", now we go left and deal with the hollow ones. There will be a dead end ahead, where we kill two Lothric knights. Then we return to the missed stairs and directly under the white Wyvern. On the right we select "Rough Gem" and we go down. Here we will have a battle with the mini-boss Legionnaire Knight from Irithyll. The tactics are exactly the same as with the previous legionnaire. After winning we get "Irithyllian Rapier". There will be a chest near the corner, pick it up from it "Shield of the Spirit Tree", and in the next chest we select "Titanite Scale". We rise and run across the area with Wyverns. They will throw bombs at us from above, we kill first the thrower, and then the usual hollow ones. Now we go back down and climb the wooden stairs. We select on the balcony "Titanite Chunk", then we approach the wyvern’s leg, and the damage will not come out. We throw fire bombs at her and both Wyverns will die. We go down and collect everything that is on the ground. Now we return to that room again and rise to the very top. We kill all the hollows and there will be a chest in the middle of the room - it's a Mimic! We kill him and go to the right, there we activate the lever, thereby opening the huge gate.

We pass through the opened gate, kill the Deacon and the Knight, go upstairs and go out into the street. In front there will be a foggy gate leading to the boss, but there are several interesting places left in the location that would not hurt to visit. On the left there will be a corpse from which we select "Medal of the Sun", and go down the elevator. This is a quick shortcut to the Cold Valley Dancer bonfire. We go up and approach the destroyed wall, jump down and kill the Corruption that crawled out of the Wyvern’s body. After winning we get "Coal" And "Titanite Chunk". There will be a chest here - this Mimic! On the right we select "The Sacred Tome of Lothric". We jump down and return to the foggy gate. We go left and climb the stairs to the roof. We select "Titanite Chunk", and there will be two shooters on the bridge. We kill them and go down the stairs, at the table we pick up "Knight's Ring". We cross the bridge and kill the Lothric Knight. We select from the chest "Titanite Scale", and the sanctuary of the Sun will stand against the wall. We pray to him and receive emotion "Praise the Sun", and we can also give Sun Medals to increase the level of the covenant. We open the doors and find ourselves at the passage to the boss. We go left, the elevator does not work, but later we will open it from another location. Open the chest and get "Titanite Scale", go out onto the balcony and pick up around the corner "Red Tear Stone Ring". We jump down, and then even lower and pick up "The Bell of Caiaphas". That's all, we have nothing else left to do but fight the boss.

Boss Battle: Dragonslayer Armor

In the first phase, the boss uses his sword and shield. And in the second, he takes his sword with both hands and deals damage in the area. We wait for his blow, we dodge, strike 1-2 times, go into defense and wait for his blow. Especially beware of the shield bash, as it will drain your stamina. Try to spin him, after a series of quick blows he will lose his balance, and then you will have time to safely deal damage. You can also use the fountain as an obstacle for the boss. After winning we get "The Soul of the Dragonslayer's Armor."

Garden of the Consumed King

Abandoned graves

Great Archive, kill the boss and go to the very end, behind the chest there will be a wall, this is an illusory wall, right behind it is a secret location "Abandoned Graves". This is an almost complete copy of the starting location, but here the world has already been completely plunged into darkness. After killing the boss "Champion Gundir", let's go to "Temple of Fire", and go to the room where she was sitting "Irina from Karim", behind it there will be an illusory wall, and there they will lie "eyes of the Fire Keeper". We return to the standard version of the Fire Temple and give these eyes to our keeper. After that, finish all unfinished business, and after you kill the final boss - Soul of Ash, do not touch the fire, use the summon sign instead. Also in this ending, you can completely kill the Fire Keeper; to do this, as soon as the screen goes out, press the attack button, then in the cut-scene your hero will kill the Keeper.

Usurpation of Fire

This ending is the most difficult to get. First of all, let's go to the location "Settlement of the Undead", having gone down to the dogs, go left, there will be one surviving pilgrim - Yoel of Londor. We invite him to the temple and receive from him 5 free levels. ATTENTION! After this, your character will turn into Hollow (Undead). After taking 5 levels, Yoel will die and will appear instead new character - Yuri of Londor.

After that we meet with Henri in location "Path of Sacrifices", her quest will begin there, which will subsequently lead you to the desired ending. The second meeting with her will take place in "Catacombs of Carthus", to the right of the stairs along which the boulder rides. She will ask you to find her/his partner Horace. It is located in the location "Smoldering Lake". To get there, you need to destroy the bridge that is located at the entrance to the boss "High Overlord Volnir".

Once in the desired location, go along the right side and turn into the cave. It will be there Horace, we kill him and go to the bridge that was destroyed. On a hill, in front of the bridge there will be Henri, we talk to her, but don’t say anything about Horace.

The next meeting with her will take place in the location Irithyll of the Cold Valley at the stake Yorshka Church. Talk to her and listen to all the dialogues. There will also be one pilgrim who disguised himself as a statue, do not kill him under any circumstances, otherwise the Usurpation of Fire ending will become unavailable!

Next, defeat the boss "Pontifex Sulivan" and talk to Yuria V Fire Temple and select the line “Speak”. Now we relax by the fire in Anor Londo and again we return to Fire Temple and talk to Yuria, she should propose to you to get engaged (actually this is a localization error, it actually prompts you to complete the ritual).

Let's go to Anor Londo, straight into the room with the statue, the statue itself is an illusory wall. We pass through it and a pilgrim will meet us, he will give you a sword, we go forward and stick the sword into Anri. Now all that remains is to continue through the game and kill the final boss - the Spirit of Ash. After activating the bonfire in the Furnace of the First Flame location, you will take the fire for yourself and begin the era of the Hollow.

Dark Souls 3 is hard in the full sense of the word. Although it greets you rather gently (well, comparatively), its complexity will increase exponentially, and the linear world will turn into a confusing, winding labyrinth. Where to go? What to do? Where can I find a standing sword? What kind of unknown thing just killed you? How to get that “glitter” that has been taunting you for an hour, while you keep falling and falling from the cliffs and getting caught by monsters in an attempt to get to it?

Whether you're a newbie looking for answers to all these questions before you close this game and cry in horror at the utter injustice, or a time-tested veteran who just wants to make sure you're not missing anything, this guide should help you .

If you are new to the Dark Souls series and are already familiar with the desire to break your controller from the very first minute of introduction into this world, then you are not mistaken in choosing the game. Dark Souls 3 is the most compelling of all the games, second only to Bloodborne. The combat here is much more challenging than in previous games and will give you many memorable ways to die. It is also more linear than its predecessors, and you will get access to new equipment, weapons and characters in due time, having time to properly feel your insignificance and the meaninglessness of existence before this moment.

Since this is your first time, you'll likely need to get used to the DS mechanics. And who knows, maybe you’ll be able to find that magic button that just presses lightly to complete the entire game (no). Learning all the combinations of strikes, dodges, blocks and jumps is sometimes beyond the power of even experienced players.

But it’s good that you came here, where we will help solve your problems! These tips will not give you a magic key to victory over everyone and everything, but they will make your life much easier. Some of them apply only to Dark Souls 3, others are fundamental to the series.

And don't worry, there won't be any spoilers here. Therefore, it is better to read them before creating a character, you will thank us later.

Start as a Knight

There are no traditional RPG classes in Dark Souls 3. There are no “tanks” or “dds” here. Instead, starting classes have different options for a limited set of characteristics, each of which can be upgraded as you wish throughout the game. That is, you can easily take a mobile thief with a small knife, then pump up his magic and give him a heavy shield in the process. Classes are only needed here to determine your preferred play style.

Start with the Knight - great way break into the game and show her what you're worth (although be prepared for what she will show in return). He is equipped with a good sword and a decent shield (better than other classes), which will serve you well in the first ten hours. In addition, the Knight has a lot of points in the Strength and Vitality parameters, which means impressive damage from the very beginning and the ability to land more hits before the “YOU DIED” message appears on the screen.

You will also have a high Physical Power indicator, which determines the maximum weight of your equipment and indirectly affects physical and elemental defense.

Simply put, this is a well-balanced class with perhaps the best starting armor and weapons. It won't be too difficult for you to start your adventure, plus it gives you the ability to use the classic Dark Souls sword and playstyle that most people prefer.

Life force comes first

After defeating enemies, you receive souls - the only currency that exists in the game. They can be used to buy items, upgrade equipment, and level up. At the first opportunity to level up, add points to your Vitality parameter to increase the amount of HP you have.

Early in the game, a large supply of hit points is much more valuable than high Strength and other characteristics. The advantage of taking more damage, especially for beginners, is priceless.

Increase Vitality to 17 or 18 points before worrying about other elements of your build. Later, you can invest in Strength or Dexterity.

Rolls are the key to health

You need to roll as often as possible to avoid enemy attacks. Many of the shields found do not absorb 100% damage (especially when it comes to magic, fire, poison, etc.), as a result of which you will suffer damage to your health even if you successfully block. And if you generally use a two-handed weapon or a weapon in each hand, you have no shield - no protection.

Roll as soon as enemies target you when you can't or don't want to run away from them.

Rolls use the same green stamina bar that is needed to hit or block. Always make sure you have enough.

Increasing the Fortitude parameter allows you to increase your stamina, but the ability to save it and spend it wisely is practically the very essence of the game.

Don't be afraid to make mistakes with your build

This is familiar to many players. You put too many points into one stat, thinking it will benefit you later, and then realize that all those souls should have been spent on leveling up a completely different stat.

Don't worry, about halfway through the game you will meet an NPC who will allow you to redistribute all your stat points. This can be done several times. We won’t spoil the raspberries and won’t tell you where and who to look for, but you can look further for clues...

Don't get overwhelmed

While you are just putting together your build, try to keep the total load to no more than 70%. You can check your current load level on the equipment screen. Even 0.5% matters, so don't ignore it.

The difference is whether you perform fast rolls or slow ones. That is, when you roll away from enemies, will your movements be light and fluid or cumbersome and incredibly slow. The latter also have their advantage in the form of so-called “frames” - a few milliseconds of invulnerability during the animation of a long roll.

If you've played any Souls game for more than five minutes, you'll understand why rolls are key aspect games. But if you're going to make a character with a big shield and heavy armor that absorbs a lot of damage, then you don't have to worry about it too much.

However, in any case, in order to be able to escape from the hot spot at any appropriate moment, do not load above 70%.

Don't rush into covenants

Covenants in Dark Souls 3 are something like factions. You join one of them, do as you are told, gain the reputation of that covenant, and ultimately be rewarded for faithfully serving their goals.

In some of them, the process is quite simple. But most covenants are difficult to advance and many are PVP-oriented, requiring you to invade other players' worlds or defend them from invaders.

You join a covenant by equipping a special item that matches it. They can be discovered by chance - as loot during the passage, communicating with some NPCs, going through quest lines, or simply by finding recruiters.

Remember that you can safely ignore any covenants, since joining them can irreversibly change your game, block the completion of some NPC quests, and the like.

If you join one of them without knowing what you've gotten yourself into, you may suddenly find yourself in someone else's world or other (not always friendly) players in yours.

Without expecting this to happen, you will be very confused and disoriented, which will make the situation much more difficult.

Check chests and walls

You know that in Dark Souls 3 there are a lot of mimics waiting for you. These are monsters that look like chests, and as soon as you let your guard down and lower your shield, intending to take your rightful loot from such a “chest,” they grab you and finish you off in a matter of moments.

Always, in all Souls games, under any circumstances, hit a chest once before opening it! If it's a mimic, you'll already damage it with your blow before it gets up and tries to attack you. If not, then you won't lose anything. Also, never approach chests unless you have cleared the room or area in the immediate vicinity around them, because you are unlikely to like it when a whole crowd of enemies kills you with impunity while the animation of opening the chest is in progress, and even if he also turns out to be a mimic...

As for the illusory walls, all you have to do with them is hit the ones you think might be hiding something once, and they will disappear, allowing you to loot whatever is behind them or open a shortcut.

If you're playing online, posts from other players on the ground will help you identify both mimics and illusory walls, but you shouldn't trust them completely as some of them may just be trolling you.

Don't fight the boss if you have a lot of souls

The Dark Souls games are mostly about fighting unique, memorable bosses that, if you win, will net you a lot of souls. But in case of defeat, they can also take these souls away from you. A good way to check your available cash is to look at the equipment screen. He will tell you how many souls you have now and how many more are needed to level up.

If this amount is enough to level up a level or even two, it’s better to return to the Fire Temple and spend your souls usefully.

Do not go to the arena with the boss or to a new location without freeing yourself from this burden, because you will agree: it is not pleasant to lose all your wealth and then not know how to get it back. This precaution will greatly simplify your life and allow you to focus on enjoying the game, rather than worrying about your accumulated souls at every turn.

Don't be afraid to die

You will experience great disappointment when you are killed in an attempt to recover lost souls in the place where you died last time. It happens that you are in a hurry to take them and forget about caution and patience in battle, and then you die again and lose your souls forever.

Although we recommended spending souls sparingly on leveling up or equipment whenever possible, losing them is just an inevitable part of the game, accept it. You cannot avoid this, just as you cannot avoid death itself, even caution is your middle name.

The trick is to not give yourself the opportunity to regret it. Did you die halfway through the location, barely having time to reach the fire? It's okay, the second run will be easier, since you will already know where and what enemies you will encounter.

You die to avoid making the same mistakes again. This is how the game teaches you. Even the best players only learn boss tactics a couple of tries, rather than the first time, before defeating them. Death is not a problem, so stop being afraid of it.

When you keep failing after failure and can't make any progress, look for white or gold blurry signs on the ground to summon friendly phantoms to ask for their help. Or just turn off the game and try again tomorrow, then everything will work out!

Let's talk about what is common and how the third part of the DS differs from all the others that you might already be familiar with. If you are new to this world, most of what is mentioned below will not make much sense to you.

However, if you've played everything from Demon's Souls to Bloodborne, or at least one of them, you'll recognize important nuances of the third game, as well as what it has in common with other Souls games.

Although the core mechanics of each game almost always remain the same, there are many small changes and innovations in each of them that mean a lot to seasoned players and can radically change the way the game is played.

The following tips can be used by anyone, but are primarily intended for Souls series veterans. They will significantly save you time trying to understand how this or that mechanic works in the third part of the DS.

There may be minor spoilers.

Skills

You've probably already heard about weapon specials called Weapon Arts, the biggest new addition to Dark Souls 3. Simply put, they allow non-magical players to use their blue Focus bar to perform unique attacks. different for each weapon. These techniques are very powerful and practically cannot be interrupted.

However, many players play through Dark Souls 3 using this system at most a couple of times when they encounter particularly tough opponents or a particularly “invincible” boss.

This does not mean that Skills are useless. They are actually quite good at stunning enemies early in the game. It's also a good way to create your own combos, starting with a special move and continuing with a heavy or normal attack.

If you are using the sword + shield set, using the sword's special skill may require dual wielding. That is, you will have to switch back to the shield as soon as the OK bar is depleted, and it is quite short.

Some shields, when equipped, also allow you to use weapon skills, but in any case you will have to constantly switch to two-handed grip and back.

If you are not interested in this or are unable to react in time and change your grip in time in the heat of battle, you can simply ignore these techniques and not bother your head with them.

It should also be noted that Skills are tied to weapons, not character classes. This means you can customize them to your liking by simply equipping the weapon you want.

A flask of estus is your everything.

There are no more Life Gems from Dark Souls 2 or the various types of grass from Demon's Souls. Using estus is practically the only way available in the game to restore your health. You will find some one-time items to restore HP later (for example, Heavenly Blessing), but they are few and far between and will take a very long time to get to.

However, if you barely use the OK bar (assuming you ignore Skills and don't use magic), you can use it to cast healing miracles. By default, most classes start the game with one Scholar slot for spells, and all you have to do is increase your Faith to the level required to cast a miracle.

Once you do this, equip any talisman with a low Faith requirement and use the free healing to your heart's content. This would essentially be the equivalent of healing stones. The miracle treatment process is comparatively slower than with estus, but it is better than nothing.

This is especially useful early on, before you find Estus Shards or Burning Bone Shards to increase the number and effectiveness of your flasks.

It will be even better if you redistribute all existing flasks with estus (including ashen ones - for restoring OK) into HP restoring flasks. The blacksmith will do this for you for free at the very beginning of the game. Good to know before going to fight the boss.

Emptying system

If you played the second part of the DS, you must remember how with each death your health bar lost a decent chunk, which could only be restored by becoming human.

However, Dark Souls 3 is a little different from its predecessor. The devastation system here has two various shapes. The first and simplest is called flame power. You start the game without this ability.

If you want to restore your health to full meaning, use Coal or kill the boss (in your world or someone else's world). The number of Embers you will find throughout the game is the same as the Humanities or Human Figures in previous parts– is not very large, and although you can buy it from some NPCs, it is still a very limited resource.

You will notice red fire flares around your character when using the flame power. It gives you an increased health bar.

The second form of devastation has several levels, the maximum of which reaches 99 and can be tracked on the character status screen. It starts at zero and gets higher the more often you die. But this devastation can only be activated by talking to a certain NPC and accepting its terms.

One of its features that you will discover a little later is the change in the appearance of your character in Hollow form and the ability to use empty weapons. Also, as the game progresses, you will find consumables to temporarily reset devastation levels. Or you can remove the Dark Mark itself from the Fire Keeper after bringing her a certain item.

The healing process can be quite costly and eliminates one of the possible endings you could have gotten by being devastated. Not to mention interrupting the entire quest line.

Read more about this in the section “The Dark Mark and Devastation - what it is and what it is eaten with.”

Backsteps are back

Of course, critical hits are still here. You could always deal more damage when attacking an enemy in the back with the appropriate animation.

The difference between Dark Souls 3 and other titles is that the window between enemy attacks for backstepping and the opportunities to do so are easier to identify and exploit. It's almost like Demon's Souls. Almost.

Critical attacks can be carried out up to last stages games where the window will become shorter and there is a chance of not being able to make it in time.

In the beginning, feel free to rely on backsteps, at least to save on the use of estus. With relatively low risk, you will have enough attempts to learn it.

Some classes, such as the Thief, have superiority in critical hits to the back, but they simply need it.

Estuses can be drunk on the go

Dark Souls 3 greatly improved upon its predecessors by allowing you to run around while trying to replenish your rapidly declining health with an Estus Flask.

When in previous parts you had to freeze in place for this purpose, you probably learned from your own deaths that there can be only one second and two centimeters of difference between the boss’s blow finishing you off and retreating to a safe place.

It's amazing how such small changes can radically affect the course of an entire battle.

Adaptability is gone from DS 2

One of the things that many players hated in the second part was the need to invest level points in Adaptability in order to have decent damage, increase balance and drink estus faster.

By the very presence of this option, Dark Souls 2 put you at a serious disadvantage, and no one liked it. Instead, Dark Souls 3 has only the stats you'd expect from a Souls game, without any weird or ambiguous stats.

Your initial options still depend on the class you choose, but they are completely unambiguous and clear.

Armor cannot be upgraded

Unfortunately, Dark Souls 3 doesn't allow you to modify the armor in any way. You can still do this for your weapons or shields, but not for equipment.

This fact gives great importance to the selection and combination of armor elements in order to maximize the effectiveness of the armor. However, it all comes down to the fact that the game has a huge number of the most different types equipment, but everyone various characteristics in terms of absorbing this or that type of damage. Simply put, there is no universal build, and you will most likely have to carry several “for all occasions” sets with you at the same time, since one has higher fire protection, and another has higher bleed resistance.

In previous parts, it was popular to wear a complete set of a set, even if one part of it was slightly inferior to the same part from another set, because it could be pumped up and significantly increase all the characteristics of the item you liked. But now fashion is giving way to practicality and survival. Although who knows, maybe in a light rag robe and with a heavy helmet on your head you will become a new trendsetter?

Redistribution of stats

There is an NPC in the game that will allow you to redistribute all your characteristics. SPOILER about the covenant, NPCs and the necessary item.

To this end, you need to go to Rosaria, the mother of rebirth, in the Temple of the Deep. Join her covenant to make it happen, and don't worry - you can always easily switch between covenants without losing your progress.

Once accepted, offer her the Pale Tongue that you find in your travels (or by performing certain actions). You can change characteristics up to five times.

Illusory walls and facial expressions

Illusory walls are optical illusions that look like walls but are not actually walls. Most often these are hidden doorways, which are quite numerous in Dark Souls. In the third part there are almost as many of them as in the previous one, and sometimes they hide something more valuable than just treasures.

Often, an illusory wall is all that stands between you and one of the game's secret areas. When you have cleared the location of all enemies, climbed everywhere you could climb, and you still see loot that you can’t reach—most likely, there’s an illusory wall lurking somewhere nearby.

And in the same way, you can meet mimics in almost any location. In fact, there are even more of them than real chests, so as a precaution, always hit them once before rushing to open them.

And yes, remember that it is better to approach the chests when all the enemies around you are dead. Mimics are no joke.

Crystal lizards

It wouldn't be Dark Soul without these little villains, ruining your day by luring you into the most unexpected traps and leaving you with nothing in the end. Luckily, killing them is quite easy this time.

A good kick or slash will flip them onto their back, giving you plenty of time to finish your job. They also stay in the world longer before disappearing completely, like in previous installments. So you don’t have to rush too much, but don’t linger too long.

Very rarely will you encounter several lizards in one place, so that you have to restart the fire and catch them all in turn. But even in this case, you will have a chance to kill them all in one sitting.

Weapon Durability

Weapon breakage was introduced in Dark Souls 2 and most players absolutely hated it. And if you played this game on PC, things were even worse for you. A solid 60 fps on the computer meant that weapons there deteriorated much faster than on consoles.

Weapon durability is still an important factor in Dark Souls 3, but it doesn't cause players to suffer as much as it once did. In fact, your Estus pool will run out much more often than the weapon reaches its 60 or 70% durability. And with the placement of fires like in the third part, you practically won’t have to carry broken things with you.

Even if you ever find yourself in the awkward position of breaking your favorite sword while diligently chiseling against every rock in your path, Repair Powder is cheap and works very effectively. You are unlikely to need more than a dozen of them for the entire game.

A new game will not start automatically

Miyazaki's pendulum of justice has swung in our favor once again, replacing Bloodborne's dreaded NG+ traversal with a classic yes/no question. Dark Souls 3 gives you this choice immediately after the final scene, and clicking No will return you to Firelink Shrine.

The decision to switch to a new game is entirely yours. Once you feel ready, at the main bonfire of the location, find the option available to you to go to NG+ and go!

Bosses: the secret to victory

Dark Souls 3 is a very violent game, and the local bosses live up to it. As with many endeavors in life, knowledge is only half the battle, and along with them you will certainly need good coordination, remembering timings, individual preparation and strategy in each case. But they still have some things in common.

There are several bosses that you can easily defeat, even if your reflexes are more like twitching your fingers and trying to press all the buttons at once. Others will be easy once you learn their weaknesses or special tricks that completely negate the threat. Well, you will have to deal with everyone else long and painfully. It is for this purpose that we have selected for you some general tips designed to make your passage at least a little easier.

Use consumables

Too many players ignore the abundance and variety of resins and mosses available in the game. If you know the boss is vulnerable to a certain type of damage, prepare your weapon accordingly by using the right resin. If during the battle he causes you additional elemental or status damage, reduce or completely get rid of this effect with the help of moss. These items are easy to acquire, so there is no need to skimp on them. Place resin and/or moss in your quick access slots and use them when needed.

Always look for the shortcut

Apart from a few very rare cases, such as the Crystal Master's arena, you can almost always try and find a faster and easier path to the boss from the nearest bonfire. You can often run past most of the enemies, who will lose interest in trying to catch you before you reach the foggy wall - the passage to the boss. For example, you can very quickly run to Vordt from the Cold Valley from the High Wall of Lothric, without killing everyone and everything along the way, but simply by going down the stairs and jumping onto the ledge, then wait until the enemies pass by, take the elevator, run through the ambush, take to the right as you run past the crossbowman, and jump out the window. From here it's a short run to the arena entrance, and you'll only need to kill a couple of the enemies near the doors if you want to look for the summoning signs.

Keep calm

This may sound a little condescending, but calmness is of the utmost importance in this game. Of course, it's a shame when a boss can kill you with one hit - and this will happen very, very often. But think about whether his attacks are too difficult to dodge in time, or are you dodging too early or late because you're too worried about it? Try to turn down the volume of the game and tell yourself that right now you are just practicing how to avoid getting hit by the boss without trying to damage him as much as possible. Then, very likely, you will be able to discover that what seemed impossible before is quite doable.

Use Coal

Harnessing the power of the flame will significantly increase your health. This is of great importance, especially towards the end of the game, where HP increases when leveling up no longer play a significant role. Coal is not a limitless resource, so only use it once you've fully thought through the boss's strategy and learned how to dodge most of its attacks, but feel free to use it as needed.

Ask for help

If you are not well prepared or a certain boss has already become your personal nightmare, you can always find help waiting for you just behind the foggy wall. It will be much easier for two players to fight simply because they can share the boss's attention between them, drink estus and backstab him when he is looking the other way. Look for characters with unusual equipment - it often indicates experienced players who will happily help you without any problems. Bulky tanks with two-handed weapons don't always show the highest efficiency and efficiency, and the rare mage you're lucky enough to find can be an amazing helping hand, destroying the boss in a few hits if you can keep his attention on you. If other players fail, or you cannot find their summon signs, complete the NPC quests to the maximum - then they will also try to help you. Remember that you can take two phantoms into battle, and if you use Coal directly in front of the arena, you are almost in no danger of being invaded.

Co-op Guide

Playing Dark Souls 3 with a friend in co-op is one of the most popular and widely used features of the DS. However, at the same time, unlike most modern games, the process of joining someone else's session is much more complicated and confusing here.

The idea is that you add a friend (called a "summon") to your game when you really need help. The same applies to joining someone else's game - you will be called upon if the other player cannot cope on their own.

Taking into account the above, these simple steps will allow you to play co-op with anyone, as well as reserve access specifically for your friend. Below are the highlights.

Joining someone else's game

You need to purchase White Chalk from the Temple Maid (old lady in Firelink Shrine) for 500 souls. This item is necessary to be able to leave summoning signs that other players will see and summon you if necessary.

If you already have this chalk, select it from your inventory and use it for its intended purpose. Your character will draw a white sign on the ground. Another player, having discovered this sign in their world, will be able to click on it and invite you to their place.

If you are doing this to join a specific person's game and no one else, you can set a password before leaving a sign. By agreeing on a password with your friend, you can only be summoned by him and vice versa.

To set a password, select Options on PlayStation 4 or Menu on Xbox One. Click on the "System" icon on the right. In the “Network” section you will see the option to put a password in the required field.

Make sure you and your friend are also in the same location before starting this process so that they can quickly find your sign. Up to four players can play in co-op at the same time.

Joining someone else's game does not require use of Coal. In fact, you will receive it after successfully completing the session by helping others.

Summon another player

The boss of the location should be alive.

If the boss in this area has been killed previously, you will no longer be able to invite other players here (the same goes for them if they want to invite you).

You must also have the flame power activated (via Coal).

When you die, you lose this power and your health bar returns to normal size. In this form, you will no longer be able to call players to your aid and you will not see any summon signs on the ground.

You can find Coal in the world, in addition, the power of the flame is given after defeating the boss. The Temple Maid also sells Coal, but this can be quite expensive in the early stages of the game.

If all the above conditions are met, you should see summoning signs on the ground. If your friend left you a sign and set a password, click on it and enter the necessary letters to invite him to your game.

Completing the co-op

Your co-op session ends when you defeat the location's boss or when you or a friend dies. This will automatically send each player to their own world and will not require any additional action from you.

However, if for some reason you need to complete the co-op manually, use the Black Crystal of Separation. This item will send the summoned player back to their world, regardless of whether the phantom was your ally or yourself.

Random players

If you have fulfilled all the above conditions for network game, but you still can’t see the signs to summon other players anywhere, perhaps you are faced with one of the in-game restrictions.

Such restrictions include:

  • the level of the summoned player must differ from yours by no more than 10 (belonging to covenants and higher levels may allow greater variation);
  • the level of the summoned player's weapon must differ from the level of your weapon by no more than 2 (for special weapons that only level up to +5, this value is halved, that is, to summon a friendly phantom, the difference in the levels of such weapons should be no more than by 1);
  • the covenants you belong to must not be at enmity with each other (of course, you should remove any covenant items before calling).

But you don't have to worry about these conditions if you play with a friend through passwords - in this case, your levels and covenants can be anything.

Well, now you're ready to get involved in some serious co-op!

Travel checklist

Dark Souls 3 is a stunning and multifaceted world for self-study, but it can be quite frustrating to finish such a long and complex game only to realize at the end that you've missed out on the lion's share of the content. Ideally, we all have the time and opportunity to play through Dark Souls 3 several times, but if you just want the “perfect” game on the first try, we've got you covered.

This checklist can become your guide along the way and will advise in what order it is better to study the locations, as well as how not to miss anything. Everything you absolutely need to see, find, collect and do on your trip is listed here. But unlike a complete step-by-step guide, this list will not tell you under which bush and how to get this or that value, how to deal with enemies standing in the way, or even from what angle they will jump out at you. All the joy from unexpected gifts, finds and deaths will remain with you. And this game loves surprises!

Although the names of the locations where you will visit, as well as their key elements, are covered here, we will not share the names of the bosses, NPCs or covenants - you can find out for yourself, just know where to look. Thus, you can learn the plot, overcome difficulties and complete quests with your own mind and strength, but at the same time checking this checklist and getting the most out of the game that it can give you.

Be sure to return to Firelink Shrine regularly to interact with NPCs and develop their stories. Bosses marked (ABOUT), are required to pass. Not all of the listed actions are available when you first explore the location: you can periodically return there to pick up what you didn’t pick up. The order of actions is random. No specific location specified. So go ahead into the game - explore a world where you have not yet set foot. No spoilers!

ATTENTION! All further sections contain spoilers for the game. Don't read them if you want to learn Dark Souls 3 on your own.

Dark Mark

In the world of Dark Souls 3, being Hollow means losing all traces of your humanity as you succumb to the curse of the undead. Most of the humanoid enemies you will encounter are Hollows - aggressive living corpses.

When you died in previous Dark Souls games, your health would drop, your ability to summon phantoms would disappear, and you'd have to use Humanity or a Human Figurine to regain what you'd lost. But in Dark Souls 3 it all looks a little different. When you die, you lose the title of Lord of Ash and must use Ember to regain the power of the flames and avoid becoming Hollow.

However, you can also go down the path of devastation, which will have its consequences. In this part, we'll explain how the devastation system works in Dark Souls 3.

Dark side

The player will not be able to receive Devastation until they have acquired the Dark Mark. This is a key item in the game, purchased from Yoel of Londor when the player accepts his offer to unlock their true potential (see the NPC guide below for information on how to recruit Yoel).

Once you have a Dark Mark, each death will increase your Devastation Level by one for the number of Marks you have. That is, one Mark will turn each death into one level of devastation, two Marks will turn each death into two levels per death, and so on.

Yoel offers up to five Dark Marks, each time increasing your game level in return. Each of Yoel's five Marks is only available after reaching a certain number of levels of devastation. You'll need a maximum of 16 to gain access to all five Marks, and it's best to achieve this as quickly as possible since Yoel will die after you defeat several bosses.

Three more Dark Marks will be available by completing Yuria and Anri of Astora's quests (see NPC guide for more information and spoilers).

The maximum level of devastation is 99.

Bonuses and special effects

The most noticeable effect of Devastation is that your character takes on a corpse-like appearance. The visual effect gets worse over time as you become more drained. (Also, as of version 1.03, your shadow in Hollow form disappears, which is probably a bug.) But this will not affect interactions with NPCs.

If you don't like this character's appearance, you can purchase the Dark Ring of Lies from Yuria of Londor for 5,000 souls. It won't affect your status or devastation levels, but your character will look less... scary.

On the gameplay side, if your devastation level is above 15, you will be able to activate the devastated weapon, which will increase the Luck attribute. A Void Weapon sharpened to +10 will give a +5 bonus to Luck, which can be doubled to +10. This is very convenient for farming items. In order for Andre to improve such a weapon, you will need to get him the Corrupted Coal from the Irithyll Dungeon.

Devastation reset

The Hollow state has no negative consequences, but you can either reset your current level of devastation or get rid of it altogether if you wish.

To reset the level to zero, buy Stone of Purification from Yuria or, if she died, from the Maid at the temple, giving her the Ashes of Yuria.

To be freed from the devastation forever and prevent its levels from increasing further, it is necessary to get rid of the Dark Mark itself. This will block your access to the third ending of the game and force Yuria to leave the Fire Temple. To this end, you must return the soul to the Fire Keeper from the tower behind the Temple. Healing from the Dark Mark becomes more expensive the further you progress in the game, so it is advisable to perform this operation as early as possible.

NPC Directory

Dark Souls 3 is full of interesting characters, many of whom can offer you something more valuable than the only friendly face in the entire location that doesn't try to kill you or eat you on sight. Whether you just want to add a newfound friend to your collection in the Firelink Shrine, complete his entire quest line, and get the most available abilities, items, and tips from him to defeat bosses, our NPC guide should help you with this.

We'll definitely meet here spoilers, so be careful. The characters are listed in order of appearance in a normal playthrough (with the exception of the Fire Keeper, who you will find at the end of the list), but their descriptions will touch on key plot points and partially reveal secrets that you were not supposed to know. We warned you.

The first part of the guide lists all the primary NPCs, the services provided and whose lives directly depend on the player’s actions or play an important role in the possible endings of the game. The same characters whose existence is indirectly connected with the quest lines of the main NPCs, or who are not affected by either the death of bosses or the player’s interaction with them, are described in the second part of the reference book.

Please note that if you kill NPCs, their quests will no longer be available to you, but you can continue to receive the unique items they offered by bringing their ashes Maid at the temple or sometimes for no reason.

Deserter Hawkwood

Deserter Hawkwood is present in Firelink Shrine when you first enter it, and can be found either sitting on the stairs or outside at the side entrance near the graves. In the dialogues, he will talk a little about the Legion of the Undead and the Knights of Farron. He can be summoned in the battle against the boss Oceiros.

Talk to him as soon as you arrive at Firelink Shrine to receive a new one gesture.

Approach Hawkwood after defeating the Void Guardians and he will give you Ring of Farron.

Shortly after this, the Deserter will leave Firelink Shrine. Hawkwood's Shield can be found next to the graves not far from the temple.

To complete Hawkwood's quest, touch his summoning sign near the third bonfire at Ancient Dragon Peak. Get Shimmering Dragon Torso Stone, using the “Way of the Dragon” gesture at the peak, and then talk to Blacksmith Andre, you can fight Hawkwood at the Guardians of the Abyss bonfire. If you win he will give it to you Shimmering Dragon's Head Stone. If you lose, he will take the Glimmering Dragon Torso Stone. But you can always come back to try to defeat him again, and if you win, you will receive both stones.

Additionally, Hawkwood can be called upon to help with the Nameless King.

Leonhard Ring Finger

Leonhard is a mysterious character who can be found opposite the throne of Lothric in the Firelink Shrine. He will give you five cracked red eyes when you talk to him for the first time.

Get it Pale tongue, by invading an alien world and killing another player (or you can find one tongue near the optional boss in the Undead Settlement), and bring it to Leonhard to receive Key to the hall with lift. Use it to access the Dark Spirit in the basement of the High Wall of Lothric tower. Talk to the NPC after killing the spirit and get "Applause" gesture And Red Eye, which allows unlimited intrusion into other people's worlds.

Leonhard will invite you to join the Fingers of Rosaria. (Note: Joining this covenant will prematurely end Sirris' quest - see below). If you accept the Red Eye and become a member of Rosaria's Flings, Leonhard will be waiting for you at the door to Rosaria's bedroom as soon as you offer her at least one Pale Tongue.

When you come here again, Rosaria will be dead and you can take Black Eye from her body. Don't worry, you'll still be able to access Covenant services through Rosaria's bed, and you'll also have the option to resurrect her later if you wish.

The Black Eye can be used in the topmost room above Aldrik's boss arena. There you can invade another world and fight Leonhard. The reward for defeating him will be Crescent Sword, Silver mask And Soul of the Rosary. Use it to revive the head of the covenant or exchange it for a miracle Abundant Sun.

Greyrat from the Undead Settlement

A very useful seller in the game who supplies a number of unique items not available anywhere else. The Greyrat of the Undead Settlement is the first character most players will encounter after leaving Firelink Shrine. Provided they search well. To take this NPC to your place, find the High Wall of Lothric in the location Camera key, release him from prison and agree to carry the ring.

To develop this storyline, find Loretta's bone in the Undead Settlement. Bring this key item to the thief. The next time you return to Firelink Shrine, you won't be able to buy anything from Greyrat, but after talking he'll give you a new one gesture.

After some time, the character will come to his senses and offer to send him for robbery. Agree, and he will leave the Temple, but then (after killing any boss) he will return with new items for sale.

The second time Greyrat goes on a mission, there is a chance that he may be killed, and the character's ashes can be found near the Church of Yorshka bonfire in Irithyll of the Cold Valley. His life (and, accordingly, death) is closely connected with An inextricable patch And Siegward of Katarina. To keep Grayrat alive after his second journey, complete Siegward's quest before releasing the thief, and do not speak to Patchwork until Grayrat leaves. The one who goes to save him must have the Katarina set. If it is Patchwork, tell him where Greyrat went as soon as he leaves for Irithyll (for this conversation with Patchwork, you must first talk to Siegward twice: in the tower of the Undead Settlement and at the well). This must be done before killing Pontiff Sulivan, then the thief will return immediately after defeating the boss. And sit by the fire as soon as Patchwork is about to rescue Greyrat to update the location and make sure that they both left. If you chose Siegward, he only needs to give Katarina’s armor and not appear in Irithyll until the victory over the Pontiff.

You can let the gray rat go for a walk a third time, but here he will die in any case. His corpse will remain on the roof of the Great Archives in Lothric Castle.

If this character is killed during any of the raids, take Ash from his body and take this key item Maid at the temple, to be able to buy all the things that Gray Rat managed to steal during his adventures.

Yoel and Yuria of Londor

Major spoilers!

Yoel of Londor is a pilgrim and the main spell merchant in Dark Souls 3, who plays an important role in unlocking the third ending. To recruit Yoel, you need to visit him as soon as possible at the Foot of the High Wall bonfire in the Undead Settlement. If the character remains alone for a long time, he will soon die.

Yoel will offer to “unleash the true power” of the player and give one free level. Accepting this service means switching to " dark side"and appearance in inventory Dark Mark, which infects your character with Void every time you die. Yoel makes his offer five times as your levels of devastation increase. On the 16th, the last fifth mark will become available to you. By purchasing them all, you will receive five levels of devastation for each death you die.

Yoel dies when the player defeats a few more bosses or collects all five Dark Marks. There will be no negative consequences from this.

When this happens and the player has five marks (not healed - see the Fire Keeper entry below), the deceased Yoel will be replaced by Yuri of Londor. She will sell Yoel's inventory, as well as several unique items, including Londor Sacred Tome and weapons Dark hand. Talk to her when she first appears in the Temple and get a new gesture. Further dialogue with Yuria will give you hints on how to reach the third ending of the game.

If the Dark Mark is cured, Yuria will leave and this ending will be unavailable. If, on the contrary, the player maintains a good relationship with her, it will be possible to call upon her for help in the battle with the final boss - and the secret ending will be revealed.

Yuri has a negative attitude towards Orbeku of Vinheim. If he dies (see entry about him below), he Ash you can bring it to Yuri and get it in return Morion sword.

Cornyx of the Great Swamp

The game's first pyromancy teacher, Cornyx of the Great Swamp is an important trader. Upon his release, he gives the player Pyromancer's Flame and can improve it, and also sells fire spells.

Find Cornix in the Undead Settlement, take him out of his cage and recruit him into service.

Talk to the NPC in Firelink Shrine twice to get a new one gesture.

Bring it to him A book on the pyromancy of the Great Swamp, Book about pyromancy of Carthus And Book of Izalith Pyromancy to obtain new, more powerful spells.

Hidden bonus: if you summon a character's phantom Cuculus of the Great Marsh in the Searing Lake and defeat the Old Demon King (without Cuculus dying in battle), you can take Tainted Whip And Cornyx armor next to the cage in the Undead Settlement where you first met him.

Irina from Karim

Irina and Aegon of Kareem meet as a couple, but only Irina will move to Firelink Shrine permanently. Take this extremely useful miracle seller from her cell in the Undead Settlement. Just talk to Aegon at the door and offer the girl friendship by extending your hand to her.

You can expand Irina's range by bringing her Sacred Tome from Karim And Sacred Tome of Lothric. If you acquire from her all the wonders from these volumes, this will push her on the path of becoming Keeper of the fire towards the end of the game. You will find her in the Firelink Shrine tower, where she will throw away all the dark books that (if) you gave to her, and then they can be handed over Karle. Meanwhile, after your battle with the Dragonslayer Armor, Aegon will die. His corpse can be found in Irina's old dungeon in the Undead Settlement and taken from there Morn's Great Hammer And Moaning Shield.

You can also give to Irina Londor Sacred Tome(sells Yuri, see the entry about it above) and Deep Sacred Tome. At the same time, if you acquire any “evil” miracles from these dark volumes, Irina will no longer be able to become a Guardian. Further events will depend on how far you have gone in the game:

  • If the end is near and Aegon is already dead, the girl will remain in her place in the Firelink Shrine and you will need to buy all of her Dark Wonders to drive her to the final stage of madness.
  • If Aegon is still alive, he will take Irina to the fire of Judge Gundir, where he will wait for you and turn out to be extremely hostile. Kill him and Irina will return to Firelink Shrine, and then you'll also need to completely clear out her inventory.

In any case, Irina will stop trading with you. Put on Aegon's gloves ( Bracers of Morn, available for purchase from Maids at the temple after his death) and touch the girl when this option appears in the dialog box. How to deal with her further depends only on you.

But while Irina and Aegon are alive and well, the guard can be summoned as a phantom on the Path of Sacrifice and in battle with the Armor of the Dragonslayer. He will also visit you in the Firelink Shrine after defeating the Void Guardians. If Irina dies or is affected by the darkness, Aegon will become hostile to you and will not be available to summon.

Siegward of Katarina

Katarina's Onion Knights are back in Dark Souls 3! The first time you meet Siegward of Katarina is when you enter the tower in the Undead Settlement. Leave the location (or die) and return, then you can meet him on the open balcony between the top and middle floors. Here you can join him to fight an optional boss and get "Toast" gestures And "Dream", and Sigbrow, which can be exchanged with Chick in the Firelink Shrine, then talk to Siegward again.

If you want to continue his questline, make sure sent Greyrat on his first outing or do it at the first opportunity, since they are related.

Your next encounter with Siegward will take place directly across from the Chapel of Purification bonfire in the Temple of the Deep. If upon arrival you do not find a knight in the well, spend several hours clearing the Temple up to and including the second floor, but no further. If by this time he does not deign to show himself, and you have already done everything described above, go to earlier game locations and then return here again. He has to show up eventually.

When Siegward is in the well, you will learn that he has lost his armor. You can buy them from Unbreakable Patch for 10,000 souls. It can be found a little further in the Temple of the Deep or in the Fire Temple (see the entry about it for details). Drop the Onion Knight's armor into the well before defeating the Deacons of the Deep to complete this part of the quest.

The next meeting will take place in Irithyll of the Cold Valley. From the Far Estate bonfire, look for a room by following the small sewer by the lake. Complete the dialogue.

You will then find Siegward in the Irithyll Dungeon. Find a pit full of rats (be careful, they respawn!) near the sleeping giant and talk to the character through the window. To save the knight, go to the Defiled Capital bonfire and find the blue roof of the house in the swamp. Look up the stairs from this roof to see open window, which you can jump into. This will take you to Siegward's cell.

If you follow his quest to this point, he will join you in the fight against the Giant Yorm boss and will most likely win the fight for you. Talk to him again after the battle until all the lines are exhausted. Soon after the battle, Siegward will die. As a result you will get Katarina set.

Henri of Astora

Major spoilers!

Henri of Astora is the prince or princess who represents the romantic interest in the game. Henri's gender will always be the opposite of the protagonist's gender. (Since your gender in Dark Souls 3 has almost no effect, you can pre-select the opposite of what you want Anri to be according to your romantic ideals.) He is also a key figure in getting the third ending games.

The first time you meet Henri and his companion Horace the Silent on the Path of Sacrifice. Talk to both of them to ensure their continued movement and receive sign of the Blue Guardians.

Return to Firelink Shrine after defeating the Deacons of the Deep and speak with Anri again.

Then look for Anri in the Catacombs of Carthus and find out that he (s) lost Horace. Find him in the Smoldering Lake, moving from the Abandoned Tomb bonfire, and talk to Anri again before going to kill High Overlord Wolnir. All your actions in this part of the quest will have profound consequences.

  • Leave Horace alive and not talk to Anri until High Overlord Wolnir is killed: Anri will die in the Catacombs of Carthus after defeating the boss. This is a premature end to the quest and you will not receive any unique loot or results.
  • Leave Horace alive and talk to Anri before killing High Overlord Wolnir: Henri will leave the Catacombs of Carthus and their story will continue, but Yuri will leave the Firelink Shrine, and the third ending of the game will become unavailable.
  • Kill Horace and talk to Anri before killing High Overlord Wolnir: Henri will give it to you Evil Eye Ring, will leave the Catacombs of Carthus and the quest will continue. The third ending will be available.

Meet Anri again at the Church of Yorshka bonfire in Irithyll of Cold Valley. Here the quest branches: there is a pilgrim disguised as a statue in the room, and you need to choose whether to kill him or ignore him. Moreover, this needs to be decided now, before Anri leaves this location.

  • If you kill a pilgrim in the room: collect a spell from his body Chameleon. This will make Yuri leave the Firelink Shrine and will block your access to the third ending. Look for the summon sign on the way to the arena with Aldrick, and you will be transported to Anri's world as a phantom to help the character kill the boss (return to your world if things get bad and you want Anri to survive). Talk to Ludleth after defeating Aldrik in Anri's World and receive Anri's sword. If you return to the Searing Lake after this, Anri will attack you.
  • If you don't touch the pilgrim: Look for Anri in the Dark Moon Tomb. Use the lever near the Anor Londo bonfire and go down the stairs. If Yuri is still present in your game (see post about it above), you will be able to marry Anri and unlock the third ending. Return here to pick up the spell Chameleon and, after some time, Anri's sword.

Orbeck of Vinheim

As the chief merchant of witchcraft, Orbeck of Vinheim is found between the Forest of Torment and the Master of Crystal Enchantment bonfires. You need an intelligence level of at least ten for him to agree to go to the Fire Temple.

Orbeck's inventory will increase when you bring him magic scrolls. You need to get him at least one scroll before you go kill any of the Lords of Ash, or he may leave the Temple and disappear forever.

Talk to Doomer after acquiring several spells. He will reward you Ring with a young dragon, Ring with a sleeping dragon and new gesture.

Complete Orbeck's quest by bringing him all the scrolls: Adept's Scroll, Golden scroll, Crystal Scroll And Logan's Scroll. If you then buy everything he sells from him, the character will leave the Fire Temple and die. You can find his body in the Great Archive. Take it Ashes of Orbeck Maid at the temple to buy his clothes Veil of secrecy. Alternatively, you can take these ashes Yuri in exchange for a unique Morion sword.

Sirris of the Sunless Lands

Warning: With any version of the game below 1.03, touching the Sirris summon sign may break the game.

You will first meet Sirris when you return to Firelink Shrine after talking to Henri of Astora And Horace the Silent at the Unfinished Fortress. She will not treat you with much friendliness.

Once you gain her respect, you can call on Sirris to help you in battles against three bosses: the Guardians of the Abyss, the Deacons of the Deep, and Lothric, the Lesser Prince. If you join the Fingers of Rosaria covenant at any point in the game, Sirris will become hostile to you, will no longer be summonable, and her quest will fail.

To gain Sirris' favor, collect Ashes of the Dreamer near the Elder Wolf of Farron bonfire and return to Maid at the temple. The next time you visit Firelink Shrine, Sirris will appear here a second time and give you a new "Loyalty to the Dark Moon" gesture, which you will need to join the Blades of the Dark Moon covenant.

The third time you will meet Sirris is near the Irithyll Cold Valley bonfire. Rest by the fire, then return to the bridge guarded by the monster and look for the summoning sign. Activate it to appear in her world and help her defeat the invading dark spirit Creighton. Return to Firelink Shrine and Sirris will give you Silver cat ring And Sanctified Panzerbrecher.

After defeating Aldric, go to the Pit of the Desolate bonfire and activate the Sirris summon sign there to defeat the Righteous Knight Godric - the real one, not the phantom that you have probably already encountered in the game. After this, Sirris will swear allegiance to you. (This will also unlock the Marauders Covenant for those who missed it earlier.) Return to this location in your world to collect Godric's set.

Talk to Sirris in Firelink Shrine and she will express satisfaction and a willingness to die. Sometime after this, find the ledge between the Fire Temple and Judge Gundir and take Sunset Shield. Later, when Sirris dies, she Sunless set can be purchased from the Maid at the temple. And used by her Eclipse Talisman will appear on the same ledge where you previously found the shield.

Unbreakable Patch

Dark Souls' favorite NPC is back and, as usual, he's doing it with the sole purpose of screwing you over. In addition, he carries with him unique equipment, which is vital for completing the quest. Sigvarda of Katarina.

Your first chance to meet Unbreakable Patch will be near Rosaria's bedroom in the Temple of the Depths. His appearance here is associated with completing the beginning of the quests Siegward of Katarina and Greyrat in the Undead Settlement. He will ask you to cross the bridge and will lower it once you do. Your character will take fall damage and will likely be attacked by enemies in the lower levels of the Temple. Return to Patchwork to hear his apology.

The patch may not appear in the above location if you come here by another route. If this happens, and Patchwork is not in the Temple of the Depths, but you need Siegward's armor, return to the Fire Temple. Buy Tower Key, if you haven't already, and study it carefully. Leave this area, then return there again and enter the tower again. Patchwork will lock you up. Use the Bone of Return (or die) and look for this character: go up to the upper levels of the Firelink Shrine on the same side as Leonhard and the side entrance. Patchwork will apologize again; if you don't forgive him, he will give you rusty coin And "Fall on your face" gesture.

If you haven't met Patchkit in any of the locations above, but have already defeated the Void Guardians and Deacons of the Deep, he will appear in Firelink Shrine regardless of your actions.

If Patchwork is sitting when you approach him in the Firelink Shrine (exit the area and come back after your first conversation in the Temple to see this), he will give you "Squatting" gesture.

Inextricable Patchwork is indirectly related to survival Greyrat in the Undead Settlement. If you want to keep Greyrat alive, never tell Patchwork where the thief went; in fact, it is better not to talk to him at all until Grayrat goes on an adventure, but this does not guarantee the safety of Grayrat himself. Patchwork will resume selling his goods after the next boss is defeated, and the thief will return from his foray if Siegward of Katarina goes with him in time to save him (see the entry about Siegward above).

Carla

Carla is something of a backup NPC; it can be used to save Irina from Karim alive, while having the opportunity to acquire spells, for which Irina would have to pay with her life. Carla sells witchcraft and pyromancy.

Take the witch into service by opening her cell in the Dungeons of Irithyll. Jailer's Keys can be found in the Defiled Capital.

Give it to Carla A book about Quilana's pyromancy And A book about the pyromancy of the gravekeeper to expand its range. Cornix will not accept these volumes.

Although she will refuse at first, you can insist and she will also take it. Londor Sacred Tome And Deep Sacred Tome. This will ensure that Irina remains alive and will allow you to purchase the spells contained in these books. There are no negative consequences from such an exchange.

Fire Keeper

Major spoilers!

The Fire Keeper can do something much more interesting than just level up the player. You can bring her two gifts, each of which has significant consequences for the ending you see:

  • Buy Tower Key at Maids at the temple and find Soul of the Firekeeper at the top of this tower. Return it to the Fire Keeper and she can save you from Dark Mark. This will block access to third ending "Usurpation of Fire", will save you from devastation and the ability to buy items from Yuri.
  • Find Eyes of the Firekeeper in the secret location Abandoned Graves. Give them to the owner and talk to her. This will allow you to use her summon sign after defeating the final boss before the final bonfire and receive second ending "End of Fire".

Minor characters

Here you will find a list of in-game phantoms invading your world, their affiliation with various covenants, and what reward you will receive for killing them. For the invasion to occur, you must be in Ash Champion form (after using Coal).

  • Reward: Giant Smoky Sword, Dark Iron Shield And Knight Slayer Ring. After defeating Tsorig Black Iron Set will become available for purchase from the Maid at the temple.
  • Can be summoned to fight the Old Demon King.

  • Reward: Murakumo.
  • After defeating Alva, search the area outside Carla's cell in Irithyll Dungeon to collect it set.

  • After defeating Creighton, he and Sirris will invade the graveyard side of Yorshka's Church.

Pale Shadow of Londor

  • Intrudes on the road between the Far Estate and the express elevator to Yorshka's Church - if you upset Yuria of Londor and blocked your access to the third ending of the game.
  • Reward: Golem Claws.
  • As a friendly phantom, he can be summoned for co-op play if you're on the right path to the secret ending.

Daughter of the Crystal Kriemhild

  • Invades the Abandoned Graves location, not far from the place where you will look for the Ash Cemetery bonfire.
  • No reward.

OK it's all over Now! This should be enough to complete this amazing game. Whether you're a complete Souls newbie or a battle- and death-hardened veteran, you'll find everything you need to learn the secrets of Lothric on this page.

First playthrough and endings" LIGHT THE FIRST FLAME" And " END OF FIRE"

At this stage we will receive most of the trophies and trophies for the endings - “Light the First Flame” and “End of the Fire”. As the game progresses, we enter all covenants in order, find most of the rings, gestures, spells and kill 21 bosses.

The first 3 trophies won't keep you waiting. You just need to get to the Fire Temple.
  • Light a fire- Light the fire flame for the first time.
  • Judge Gundir- Defeat Judge Gundir.
  • Recognize the Flame- Become the master of coals for the first time.
_______________________________________________________________________________
In the fire temple we talk to all the NPCs that are there, for this you will receive several emotions.
Let's start doing the "Leonhard" quest, its result will be emotion "Applause" And "Soul of the Rosary".

The first Lord is behind us, but we still have a long road ahead of us. Next location - "Catacombs of Carthus". Here we will defeat 2 bosses "Old Demon King", "Lord Wolnir" and get the "My Thanks!" emote. having won or lost the duel "Black Iron Tarkus" in the location with the Demon King (lower lava room). To get to the location with the Demon, you need to hit the wooden bridge, it will fall and then go down from the entrance to the boss "Volnir" .
_______________________________________________________________________________
Trophies of the Catacombs of Carthus location

  • Old Demon King- Defeat the old demon king.
  • High Overlord Volnir- Defeat High Overlord Volnir.
_______________________________________________________________________________
After "Volnir" a winter location awaits us - "Irithyll of the Cold Valley". Before the boss "Pontiff Sulivan" do not forget to summon the NPC: "Black Hand Gotthard" for the emotion "By my sword". In the location with water there is a fork that leads to the “Irithyll Dungeon”, but first we will go through this location. After the boss "Sullivan" we enter the covenant "Loyal to Aldrik" (behind the ghostly wall after the square). In front of "Anor Londo" we kill "Captain Yorshka", take the ring and thereby enter into the "Blades of the Dark Moon" covenant. She won’t let us in any other way, because we’ve already talked and entered into the “Fingers of Rosaria” covenant. After this, we go and kill the second Lord of Ash, “Aldric, Devourer of Gods.”
_______________________________________________________________________________
Irithyll Cold Valley location trophies
  • Pontiff Sulivan- Defeat Pontiff Sulivan.
  • Covenant: Aldric's Faithful- Join the “Loyal to Aldrick” covenant.
  • Covenant: Blades of the Darkmoon- Join the Blades of the Dark Moon covenant.
_______________________________________________________________________________

After this, the second of the four Lords of Ash will fall:

It's time to go to the "Dungeon of Irithyll". A new NPC awaits us here: “Carla”, emotion "Stretch out", lying on a corpse by the “Desecrated Capital” bonfire and the third Lord of Ash - “Giant Yorm”. This is the only main boss that requires a certain approach. The fact is that the game has “Wepon Arts” - these are special techniques performed by one weapon or another and consume magic. These moves either deal stronger damage and effects to the target, or deal damage with a specific element. Using the example of Yorma, the developers clearly show this to us. Near his throne lies the sword "Storm Lord". Pick it up and attack this boss with a special attack, in which case it will be defeated in 5 special hits.

After this, the third of the four Lords of Ash will fall:
After the 3rd boss, we will automatically be transferred to the place where we began to get acquainted with the game - “High Wall of Lothric” and the battle with the new boss “Dancer of the Cold Valley” will begin. If you lose, it's okay, call for help and defeat her. After defeating her, access to a new location will open - “Lothric Castle”.

But, before you go to conquer the last Lord of Ash, after climbing the stairs, turn left and head towards the boss “Oceiros, the Consumed King”. The boss is simple and can be completed alone without any problems. Behind the boss we open the door and find an emotion on the knight "Path of the Dragon". It is needed to access the Archdragon Peak location. We go to the chest and break the ghostly wall behind it and find ourselves in a secret location "Abandoned Graves". The boss “Champion Gundir” awaits us, but the most important thing is the real Fire Temple, in which you need to pick up the “Eyes of the Fire Keeper”. They are in the Temple behind the ghostly wall, in the place where Irina sits. To gain access to the second ending, you need to take them to the “Keeper” before you go to battle with the final boss.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Location Trophies Abandoned Graves

  • Oceiros, the Consumed King- Defeat Oceiros, the Consumed King.
  • Abandoned graves- Get to the Abandoned Graves.
  • Champion Gundir- Defeat the champion Gundir.
_______________________________________________________________________________
After taking the eyes to the “Keeper”, time to visit the second secret location - "Archdragon Peak". To do this, we go to the “Irithyll Dungeon”, where several mobs are sitting near the abyss and there is a “dragon stone” and use the emotion - “Path of the Dragon”. In this location we will meet 2 bosses - “Ancient Wyvern” and “Nameless King” (probably one of the best bosses in the game).
_______________________________________________________________________________
Archdragon Peak location trophies
  • Archdragon Peak- Reach Archdragon Peak.
  • Ancient Wyvern- Defeat the ancient wyvern.
  • Nameless King- Defeat the nameless king.
_______________________________________________________________________________
After exploring the "Abandoned Graves" and "Archdragon Peak", We continue to explore the "Castle of Lothric". We go straight along the stairs from the Dancer and move clockwise. In front of the gate, the road will be blocked by 2 wyverns; kill the white one with a bow or spells and you will be able to pass through. In this location we have to kill 2 bosses, “Dragon Slayer Armor” and the last Lord of Ash “Lothric”, passing through the “Archive”. The archive is full of secrets, so explore it especially carefully. Also, before the entrance to the “Dragon Slayer Armor” boss, behind the wooden door there is the “Warriors of the Sun” covenant, it is there that you need to hand over the sun medals, and by praying you will receive the emotion "Praise the Sun".
_______________________________________________________________________________
Lothric Castle location trophies
  • Cold Valley Dancer- Defeat the Cold Valley Dancer.
  • Dragonslayer Armor- Defeat the Dragonslayer Armor.
_______________________________________________________________________________

The last Lord of Ash has fallen:
Once all four Lords of Ash have been defeated, go to the Fire Temple and activate all 4 thrones. After this, the battle with the main boss "Soul of Cinder" will become available. To get 2 endings on the first playthrough, after defeating the main boss, do not touch the fire or the inscription near the fire (if you found and gave the eyes to the keeper), but exit the game and make a save. We load and activate the fire - we get the ending:

After that, we start New Game +.

second playthrough and ending "USURPATION OF FIRE"

After the first playthrough, we got acquainted with the world of Dark Souls 3, it's time to complete a couple of quests for another ending and a ring with an emotion.

After the second bonfire of the “Road of Sacrifice” location, we speak with Anri and begin to complete her/his (the character’s gender will be opposite to yours) quest. The reward for the quest will be an emotion "Quiet Resolve" And access to the third ending "Usurpation of Fire" .
To gain access to this ending you need to do a number of actions during the passage:

Detailed description of the ANRI quest

1. Meet “Yoel of Londor” in the “Village of the Undead” (the first bonfire, where there are many people praying). After talking with her, she goes to the Temple. 2. Continue playing and periodically come back to raise her level. You need to do this 5 times. To raise her level, she needs “Dark Sigil” marks; you can get them by dying 2 times in a row without restoring with ashes. ATTENTION! It is impossible to be healed by the Guardian! Otherwise, "Yuria of Londor" will not appear in the Temple. You cannot heal after she appears until the very end of the game, otherwise she will disappear! 3. After 5 level increases, "Yoel of Londor" dies, and "Yuria of Londor" appears instead. Levels need to be raised 5 times BEFORE you defeat the boss "Guardians of the Abyss" 4. Near the bonfire "Halfway to the Fortress" location "Road of Sacrifice" we meet "Anri of Astora". We talk to her. At the same time, we enter into a covenant. 5. After killing the Deacons of the Depths boss, Anri appears in the Temple. We talk to her again. 6. After killing the boss “Guardians of the Abyss”, we go down to the Catacombs and find her and talk to her 2 times (the first time in the right room before going down the large stairs, the second time before the boss “Volnir”). The second time she will give the task to go down and kill “Horace”. Do this before you kill "Volnir". 7. After killing, return to her and talk. 8. Next, she will appear in the location “Yorshki Church” near the fire (location after the fight with the skeleton in bracelets). Let's talk to her again. 9. After you defeat "Pontiff" go to the "Fire Temple" and talk to "Yuria of Londor". 10. We find the “Darkmoon Tomb” location behind the ghostly wall (round room, after the Pontiff and the knights on the roof). We talk to the maid and take “Sword of a Vow” from her. 11. We go to the tomb and begin the ritual. 12. Finish the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPeSdlbT8D0

At the same time, we do another Sirris quest. The result will be a ring and an emotion "Darkmoon Loyalty". Do not wear Rosaria's covenant ring when talking to her, this will block the quest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlTLa9n1his
Before the boss battle "Guardians of the Abyss" you will already have 5 black marks. Near the Farron Fortress perimeter bonfire, the following NPC will become available: “Londor Pale Shade”, it is he who will give the emotion "Duel Bow".

Don't forget to collect New Game+ rings.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzSxnkiLPe0
In the middle of the second playthrough, you will receive a trophy for all gestures:

third passage: collecting rings and everything that was missed.

Let's start a New Game++. If you haven't missed anything and have met all the conditions for the required Covenant ranks, all you have to do is collect the remaining 16 rings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiekRq-JITU
The developers kindly hid these rings in all locations in the game, so essentially, you will need to go through the game for the 3rd time, except that you won’t need to kill the final boss. When all 107 rings are in your inventory, we get:

Special Action Rings:

1. "Calamity Ring"- you need to apply the “Path of the Dragon” emotion in front of the altar in the “Archidragon Peak” location (near the second bonfire).
2. "Priestess Ring"- location "Abandoned Graves", sold by a merchant (also drops when killed).
3. "Hawk Ring"- location "Undead Village", kill the giant archer.
4. "Knight Slayer's Ring"- for killing "Black Iron Tarkus" near the lava pool. Location with the Demon King.
5. "Bloodbite Ring"- from a big rat. Location: Undead Village.
6. "Magic Stoneplate Ring"- from the knight guarding the entrance to the boss "Oceiros"
7. "Scholar Ring"- behind the secret wall in the "Archive" location. Easy to miss.
8. "Great Swamp Ring"- in the forest with big crabs.
9. "Deep Ring"- from the deacon on the way to the Fingers of the Rosary covenant.

Covenants

Covenants can be changed at any time. I recommend farming them on your second playthrough. Something can drop from mobs, you can get something by invading, or helping others. In addition, there are more people on the second playthrough than on the third, which means there is a correspondingly higher chance of being recruited.

Pay special attention to the Blades of the Dark Moon covenant.. The chance of skulls falling out with a mob is very small, so it is advisable to walk around with their ring throughout the game. To cast the spell you need to have 30 covenant shards.

Covenant "Watchdogs of Farron"
After you defeat the Abyss Guardians, go to the Temple and talk to "Hawkwood" he will give you the ring, or kill him if you already have the ring. Otherwise, he will kill the Ancient Wolf and this will block the advancement of the ranks of the Hounds of Farron covenant. Also, if you move forward in the plot, the Wolf still dies. Presumably after the 3rd Lord of Ash.
Farming this covenant cannot be avoided, because it is difficult to kill the owner of the world, especially when all the mobs and people are hostile to you. I would also like to note that it is very rare for an invasion to occur. For the ring you will need 30 bloody blades.

Covenant "Marauders"
The last covenant that requires 30 medals for the required spell. If you are not strong in PvP (medals are given for killing the owner of the world), that is a good place for farming. In addition, the drop chance favors players.

Covenant "Fingers of Rosaria"
You only need 10 languages to access the ring. Several languages will come naturally. The rest can either be farmed or forgotten (for this you need to be of the same level, otherwise one of you will not be able to summon the other).

Covenant "Loyal to Aldrick"
As with Rosaria, you only need 10 dolls. Farming location - Anor Londo location, Aldrik's bonfire.

Covenant "Warriors of the Sun"
To gain access to 2 spells you need 30 medals of light. Considering that there are 20 bosses in the game, it is enough to call “yellow” characters to fight them or leave “yellow” inscriptions yourself. Even in 2 playthroughs you can easily get more than 30 medals. There is no point in farming.

The remaining covenants for trophies are not needed.

The Dark Souls line of games has always been known for its hardcore gameplay and boss battles. In the guide we will tell you about all the bosses of Dark Souls 3 in order, we will tell you about the passage and how to kill them. And so let's get started.

Dark Souls 3 walkthrough of all bosses in order.

Judge Gundyr

Location: Cemetery of Ash

Reward: Coiled Sword, 3000 souls

Judge Gundir

How to beat the first boss? We approach him and pull out the sword from him. We immediately start hitting him, there is an opportunity to start causing damage even before he gets up and starts attacking you. This boss has a long attack range and can easily hit you from a long distance. If you decide to kite him, then you should move away, and if you fight close, then don’t be afraid to come closer. You need to dodge lunges and circular attacks, then immediately attack. After the boss has half his health left, he will begin to transform and become much larger, the range of his attacks will also increase. We stick to the same strategy and attack him after his attacks. When he lowers his right hand to the ground, we move away so that he doesn’t grab us. You can also strike while the boss is leaning forward slightly to strike.

Vordt of The Boreal Valley

Location:

Reward: Soul of Vordt from Cold Valley, 3000 souls

Vordt of Cold Valley

To make it easier to fight this boss, you need to acquire things that increase resistance to cold. When fighting this enemy, you need to try to stay behind and attack him in the back, because he attacks exclusively from the front and over a large area, and being behind him will make it very easy to survive. After the boss's health drops to half, white steam will begin to appear around him. If the boss starts shooting ice balls from his mouth, move away as far as possible. We don’t change tactics, we repeat everything described above.

Curse-Rotted Greatwood

Location: Undead Settlement

Reward: Soul of the Cursed Great Tree, Transposition Furnace, 7000 souls

Cursed Great Tree

First, when you get to a location, you need to kill all simple enemies, then move on to the boss. After the boss comes to life, you need to start hitting the growths, they will be immediately visible. After this you will fall underground. Next, we go behind the boss and attack the growths again. When he rises, we move away. We run away from the yellow puddles, they do not do much damage, but they slow down a lot. We destroy the growths from the side, trying not to get hit by hand. All that remains is to deal with the growths on the legs.

Crystal Sage

Location: Road of Sacrifices

Reward: Soul of a Crystal Master, 8000 souls

Crystal Master

This boss is dangerous because he can shoot large crystal balls, despite the fact that they are quite slow and easy to dodge, they cause a lot of damage. First we attack the boss, after which he will disappear and crystals will appear. Then the boss will sometimes begin to disappear and appear in different places, at this moment we will need to dodge the shots, and then counterattack. Next, the boss will have five balls above his head. As before, they fly very slowly, so we attack and dodge. At the last stage, the boss summons his copies, each of which will also attack you. You need to find the real boss and, dodging attacks, kill him.

Deacons of the Deep

Deacons of the Deep

There are a lot of enemies in this location, you shouldn't attack everyone, you need to find the one that is highlighted in red and focus on it. Moreover, they are all quite slow and will not cause you much harm. Ignore them and dodge. When the second stage comes, opponents will appear who will shoot fireballs at you, so it’s better to kill them. And don't forget to attack the main one. The “Left Eye of the Pontiff” ring, which restores HP during successful attacks, can make the battle easier. If you can’t get through with your current equipment, then perhaps you should put on heavy armor and take any two-handed sword that will simply scatter the undead.

Abyss Watchers

Guardians of the Abyss

At the very beginning, the boss will rush forward and start the fight with a lunge. Most often he alternates blows with a sword and a dagger. At the very end he hits it in a circle. After a series of blows, the moment comes when we need to start hitting him. When the boss enters the second phase, he will summon mobs, which are worth noting are very nimble, but there is no need to be distracted by them. The fun part comes at the end when the boss dies. After the first time, he will be reborn and become even stronger. We also attack after his series of techniques, ending with a circular blow or a strong blow to the ground. If you move far away, the boss will make a powerful dash that is difficult to dodge.

High Lord Wolnir

High Overlord Volnir

Once at this location, you need to go to the light, the boss will be waiting for us there. He will come out to us from the darkness, or rather, his head and his hands. If you are using a shield, you can immediately remove it. You won't need it in the fight with this boss; it's better to take a weapon with decent damage. At the moment when the boss raises his hand up, you need to come closer to him, or move away as far as possible to dodge the blow. As soon as he carries out the blow, you need to counterattack him and hit the gold bracelets on his hands. When the boss releases black smoke from his mouth, run as far as possible. If skeletons appear, we ignore them and finish off the boss.

Pontiff Sulyvahn

Pontiff Sulivan

Location: Irithyll of The Boreal Valley

Reward: Soul of Pontiff Sulivan, 28,000 souls

Quite a strong and fast boss. We enter the room and he immediately rushes towards us. Able to make jerks to the side. Deals several blows with a fiery sword in a row, after which you can respond. With the second sword he makes lunges in the direction of the hero. The most convenient way is to revolve around the boss, constantly trying to get behind his back and periodically deliver one blow at a time. When the second stage of the battle begins, the boss will kneel and throw you away with magic. When his summoned shadow (or something similar) begins to appear, it will be time to hit the boss a few times. The shadow will be in the way, but you don't have to focus on it. The boss will start striking after the jump, so when he jumps, we avoid the attack.

Old Demon King

Old Demon King

The boss is optional. For combat you will need armor with resistance to fire and physical damage. If you go in and immediately start hitting the boss, you can deal a lot of damage. The boss will attack with his weapon and fire waves from the front. We dodge the fire attacks and try to attack and stay behind. After the boss raises his hands up, fireballs begin to fall from the sky - we dodge. He can also make powerful circles of fire, we run away from them too.

Yhorm the Giant

Giant Yorm

Location: Irithyll Dungeon

Nearest fire: Defiled Capital

Reward: Ashes of the Overlord, Soul of the Giant Yhorm, 36,000 souls

First of all, we run past the boss to his throne and take the Storm Ruler sword. We take it with both hands and use (L2 (PS4) / LT (XB1)) special attacks. The boss is not agile and it is easy for him to get behind his back, passing between his legs. We spin around him and charge the attack. We wait for a good moment and strike. Often you can manage to perform two attacks in a row. In the second half of the battle, the boss will burn with fire and will be able to hit with it. We do not fall under circular attacks.

Aldritch, Devourer of Gods

Location: Irythill of the Boreal Valley

Nearest fire: Anor London

Reward: Ashes of the Overlord, Soul of Aldrik, 50,000 souls

The boss mainly uses magical attacks and close attacks with physical damage. He shoots arrows, which you definitely need to dodge. It’s better not to go too far from him. We try to hit the long body and move away when he sticks the staff into the ground. We attack after firing arrows and melee attacks. When he shoots from a bow, we run, but make sure that he doesn’t hit us with his staff.

Dancer of the Boreal Valley

Cold Valley Dancer

Location: High Wall of Lothric

Nearest fire: Vordt of Cold Valley

Reward: Soul of the Dancer, 60,000 souls

The peculiarity of this boss is that he wields a very long sword and moves in a circle. It is best to attack the Dancer from behind, while dodging her circular attacks and attacks from above. As the boss progresses into the second phase, he will have a second sword. Because of this, she starts doing more spinning attacks. After a series of blows we attack. We try not to stand in front of the boss - the blows from above are very strong.

Oceiros, the Consumed King

Oceiros, the Consumed King

Location: Garden of the Consumed King

Nearest fire: Cold Valley Dancer

Reward: Soul of Consumed Oceiros, 58,000 souls, path to the Abandoned Graves location, Path of the Dragon gesture

This is a fairly slow boss and not the most difficult boss in Dark Souls 3. He is quite slow and attacks with sweeping blows of his staff at close range. At the moment when he sticks the staff into the ground, we need to have time to move away, then smoke will appear around the boss. Sometimes the boss can jump on us, and we need to dodge in time. It's best to stay near the boss's feet, it's easier to dodge. It is often possible to strike before smoke appears. In the second stage Consumed King will begin to spin around on its own, it will also begin to move quickly and freeze everything while in flight. We try to stay under his stomach and hit after his attacks. It's better not to hide behind the columns - the boss will break them.

Dragonslayer Armor

Dragonslayer Armor

Location: Lothric Castle

Nearest fire: Dragon Barracks

Reward: Soul of Dragonslayer Armour, 64,000 souls, path to Prince Lothric.

Dragonslayer's Armor is one of the fast bosses in Dark Souls 3 (the only one with a shield), he can dash towards the hero, fights up close and deals very strong blows from above. After he delivered a series of blows, we begin a counterattack. You need to try to constantly run around the boss to avoid his attacks. After simple attacks from the boss, we do not deal more than one blow. We dodge swings in advance. In the second stage, balls will fall from the sky, we move away from the blow.

Champion Gundyr

Location: Cemetery of Ash

Nearest fire: Untended Graves

Reward: Soul of Champion Gundyr, 60,000 souls

At the very beginning, we attack the boss before he gets up. We try to stay behind or to the side, dodging his blows. The moment the boss kneels, we begin to attack him. In the second phase, the boss becomes much faster, and on top of everything else, he will start hitting with his arms and legs. We continue to attack in the back. It is better not to stand in the boss's way and constantly move to the side from attacks. We try not to stand still so as not to get hit by jumps.

Ancient Wyvern

This boss is quite unusual, and you can defeat this dragon with one blow if you wish. We run past the boss through the tunnels, go higher and next to the door (at the entrance to the boss) we go up the stairs. We walk along the wooden platform and jump down several times. We find ourselves on a ledge that is located above the dragon's head. Here you need to jump down and kill him.

Lothric and Lorian (Lord of Cinder: Lothric Younger Prince & Lorian Elder Prince)

Location: Lothric Castle

Nearest fire: Dragonslayer Armor

Reward: Cinders of a Lord, Soul of the Twin Princes, 85,000 souls

This boss is dangerous because of his teleportation skill. By using teleportation, he can appear behind your back. He is very dangerous because he can strike at a great distance and even make dashes towards the hero. We dodge his attacks and hit him during the break. You can try to stab him in the back. After the boss dies, the girl will resurrect him and team up with him. We dodge shots that can easily kill. We hit after the boss hits and carefully monitor the teleportation. If you killed the boss again, but did not kill the girl, then most likely she will resurrect him again. She definitely needs to be killed. Having defeated her, you don’t have to finish off the boss, he will die himself.

The Nameless King

Location: Archdragon Peak

Nearest fire: Great Belfry

Reward: Soul of the Nameless King, 80,000 souls, Titanite Slab, Dragonslayer Set (Helm, Armor, Gauntlets, Leggings), Nameless King Set (Golden Crown, Dragonscale Armor, Golden Bracelets, Dragonscale Waistcloth).

We activate the switch and, after the bell rings, we get to the boss. It is extremely important to dodge the dragon's blows in time and counterattack him on the head. In turn, the King will try to hit you with his weapon from the front. Try to stay as close to the dragon's neck as possible without getting hit by its wings. If the dragon takes off, then we don’t stand still, we avoid attacks from the air. After the dragon dies, the battle with its rider begins. The rider can also attack from afar or make sharp jerks towards the hero. After waiting for the moment, after he delivered a series of circular blows, we counterattacked him. It is best to strike one or two times and retreat. Try to cover yourself with a shield. Lightning attacks will appear in the second half.

Dark Souls 3 final (last) boss. How to beat Gwyn the Lord of Ash.

Soul of Cinder

Location: Kiln of the First Flame

Nearest fire: Kiln of the First Flame

Reward: Soul of the Lords, 100,000 souls, opportunity to start NG+

This is the long-awaited final boss of Dark Souls 3. He is very dangerous and fast. Up close, it hits with circular and sweeping blows, and makes lunges. When the boss has finished a series of blows, we begin to hit him back, no more than 2-3 blows at a time, otherwise we won’t have time to dodge. When the boss enters its second phase, it gains knockback attacks. The difficulty of the game increases due to the fact that the range of his attacks will increase. Further more. He has magic balls that you will have to constantly hide and dodge from. Here you will need to attack more carefully after his magical attacks. After the first victory (we move away from the explosion), the boss will become even angrier, and the attacks will become even faster and further. Fiery sword swings are very dangerous. We retreat when he plunges the sword into the ground. We attack after such a series. We hit him several times in the same way. Moving away from lightning strikes.

The Dark Souls series of action role-playing games from the Japanese studio FromSoftware is famous not only for its dark and mysterious universe, but also for its extreme difficulty. Even very experienced gamers have to die here dozens of times. And the third part, released not so long ago, finally acquired truly beautiful graphics.

We decided to help you a little in taming this obstinate game, and at the same time launch a new section for our blog called “Gamehack”.

If you don’t have a powerful enough computer, you can always play Dark Souls 3 on high settings here.

In the meantime, let's move directly to the management. There are 13 main bosses in the game that must be defeated to complete the storyline, as well as 6 additional optional ones.

Location: Ash Cemetery

Reward: twisted sword, 3000 souls

We approach, pull out the blade and immediately strike - when Judge Gundir gets up, he will no longer be a bit fresh.

The first phase of the battle begins. We run closer, dodge and hit at the moment of swing.

After knocking out half of the lives, the second phase begins. We need to run away as far as possible - this way the boss will jump towards us from afar and land hard. We run in a circle away from the next landing and roll up as soon as Gundir hits the ground. We strike two or three times and run back again. Repeat several times.

Vordt of Cold Valley

Location: High Wall of Lothric

Reward: soul of Vordt from Cold Valley, 3000 souls

First phase. We try to stay behind Vordt all the time and hit him on the backside.

Second phase. The boss begins to breathe cold in our direction. We run away and try to lure the steel idiot into a corner. Again we hit him on his armored croup. If we can’t pin Vordt in a corner, then we run around him, dodging the cold until he starts rushing at us. During the throw, we roll towards him and a little to the side. We deliver one or two blows while he tries to reach.

Crystal Master

Location: The Path of the Victims

Reward: soul of a crystal connoisseur, 8000 souls

First phase. As soon as we see this old man in a hat, we run towards him and, while he is charging an energy attack, we strike him two or three times. After this, either the second phase will begin and he will disappear underground for a while, or he will have time to throw a lilac ball at us a couple of times. In the latter case, we run further away, dodge and hit him again while reloading.

Second phase. The boss hides from us underground, summons doubles (they have blue spheres, not lilac ones) and soon appears himself. We first kill the copies so that they don’t get in the way (they’re taken out in one hit), and then we carefully run to the real Expert and finish them off during reloads.

Lords of Ash: Guardians of the Void

Location: Farron Citadel

Reward: lord's ashes, wolfblood soul, 13,500 souls

Boss with three phases.

In the first phase, you need to dodge the entire series of his attacks and immediately hit as soon as the Guardian of the Abyss hesitates.

In the second phase, one double appears, and then another. It is best to first just try not to fall under their blows and continue to beat the leader. Moreover, the doubles themselves are not fools to fight among themselves. When two acrobat brothers bring each other half to death, you can finish them off so that they don’t get in the way, and then finish what you started with the main Guardian.

It would seem that the enemy is defeated, but in fact he is reborn, his sword lights up, and the third phase begins. Essentially it’s like the first one, only the boss attacks faster and does more damage if it hits us. With a beating heart, we dodge his flaming blade and, as in the first phase, deliver two or three blows immediately after completing the next series of attacks from the Guardian. Repeat several times and it is ready.

High Overlord Volnir

Location: Catacombs of Carthus

Reward: soul of High Overlord Wolnir, 22,000 souls

Quite a simple boss. While Volnir raises his hand, we either run up close to his head, or run further away so as not to take damage. After the attack, the bony limb will rest on the ground for several seconds - rather, we run up and hit the golden bracelets. We repeat several times until we destroy all four bracelets.

Deacons of the Deep

Location: Temple of the Depths

Reward: small doll, soul of the Deacons of the Deep, 13,000 souls

First stage. We see a large number of deacons, find the one that glows red and attack only him. The rest barely move and can be ignored.

Second stage. Some of the extras start throwing fireballs. We quickly kill them, dodging shells, and finish off the main deacon.

Pontiff Sulivan

Location: Irithyll of the Cold Valley

Reward: soul of Pontiff Sulivan, 21,000 souls

Smart boss.

First phase. Once indoors, immediately go towards the Pontiff and, as soon as you reach the stairs, roll to the side to escape the lunge. In the future, dodge his attacks, being not too far away, go behind his back and strike.

Second phase. Pontiff Sulivan falls to his knees and throws us back. After some time, his shadow double appears. We simply run away from the double, get closer to the boss himself and deliver several blows. The Pontiff begins to jump high before attacking. We run away while he jumps, return immediately after landing and strike again from the back until we finish him off.

Lords of Ash: Aldrik, Devourer of Gods

Location: Anor Londo

Reward: Ashes of the Overlord, Soul of Aldrik, 50,000 souls

This boss is difficult only at first glance. It's actually quite simple.

We get closer, avoiding the arrows, dodge the blow with the halberd and hit until Aldrick starts shooting with his bow again. We run back, but not too far, try not to become the target of a shot, run up again and strike. We repeat several times.

Lords of Ash: Giant Yorm

Location: Defiled Capital

Reward: ash of the lord, soul of the giant Yhorm, 36,000 souls

Everything is also quite simple.

We go in, run straight all the time, run between the legs of the giant bungler, run to the throne and grab the sword “Lord of Storms”. We very quickly arm ourselves with it and, circling around the clumsy Yorm, inflict distance damage ( alternative view sword attacks). It's easy to avoid enemy attacks by simply rolling to the side or slipping between the boss's legs. We shoot at the giant until we kill it.

Cold Valley Dancer

Location: Lothric Castle

Reward: Soul of the Cold Valley Dancer, 60,000 souls

First phase. The dancer walks in a circle and swings her sword left and right. We dodge double attacks, run behind our backs, deliver two or three blows, run away, and so on.

Second phase. The boss acquires a second sword, and attacks become more sophisticated. Being in front of the Dancer, we avoid a series of attacks, then roll behind her back and hit her before her next attacks.

Location: Lothric Castle

Reward: Soul of the Dragonslayer Armor, 48,000 souls, the path to Prince Lothric

A very agile boss and the only one in the game that has a shield.

In the first phase, he makes a series of attacks: a dash towards us, close attacks and powerful blows from above. You need to run around the Dragonslayer Armor all the time to avoid getting hit by one of the attacks. As soon as the boss makes a blow from above, we run up or roll up to the enemy and hit.

In the second phase, the battle is slightly complicated by something like a meteor shower. We continue the battle as in the first phase, but try not to get hit by burning fragments.

Lothric, the younger prince and Lorian, the eldest prince

Location: Great Archive

Reward: ash of the lord, soul of the twin princes, 85,000 souls

First phase. The eldest prince is on his knees and makes powerful attacks with a flaming sword. Periodically teleports closer to us, including appearing behind us. We dodge each of his blows and deliver our own.

Second phase. The eldest prince dies, but is resurrected by the younger prince. The prince lunges and sometimes shoots a streak of magic in our direction. To dodge, you need to roll exactly at the moment when the boss hits the ground with his sword. We avoid attacks, strike, not forgetting to also attack the younger prince. If he survives, he will resurrect the elder again.

Location: Kiln of the First Flame

Reward: Soul of the Lords, 100,000 souls, opportunity to begin " New game

In a sense, this boss is a collective image of almost all the previous ones. His arsenal includes both sword thrusts and ranged attacks, and his acrobatics include a wide variety of movements.

First phase. We run around the Soul of Ash and try to remember a series of attacks, as well as its basic maneuvers. After each series we run up and attack, delivering no more than two blows.

Second phase. The boss becomes more ferocious, begins to deal knockback blows, throw spheres and shoot lightning. Immediately after the lightning we strike one or two times and quickly run away.

Third phase. The soul of ash becomes simply reactive. Attacks are speeding up. After sticking the sword into the ground, we attack and dodge the lightning.

Optional Boss: Champion Gundir

Location: Abandoned graves

Reward: Soul of Champion Gundir, 60,000 souls

Champion Gundir is the “twin brother” of Judge Gundir, who is not infected with filth, unlike his “relative,” due to which there is only one combat phase with him. The Champion moves in much the same way and is armed with a halberd. Only the appearance of the armor is slightly different.

The battle tactics are similar to those in the first phase for Judge Gundir (see the beginning of the material): we approach, immediately strike, stay close, roll often, avoiding damage, attack mainly from behind. Nothing complicated.

Optional Boss: Cursed Great Tree

Location: Undead Settlement

Reward: soul of the Cursed Great Tree, transposition furnace, 7000 souls

First phase. Around the Tree, as is the case with many giant bosses, normal-sized monsters are flickering around. We kill them all, and then we approach the overgrown plant and look for growths on its bark in the form of eggs. We take care of the limbs of the Tree and deliver a couple of blows to the growths.

Second phase. The floor collapses, and with it we and our enemy. Again we strike at the growths, but this time we will have to dodge not only the limbs, but also the slowing bombs.

Optional Boss: Ancient Wyvern

Location: Peak of the Ancient Dragons

Reward: Dragon Head Stone, 70,000 souls

Ancient Wyvern is a real fire-breathing dragon! Deals a lot of damage both with regular hits and with flames. There are two ways to kill him.

First way. We run up close before the lizard starts spitting heat. We carefully get under our feet and hit vulnerable places: the neck, head and wings. We try to stay under the boss’s body so that he cannot reach us with fire.

Second way. We run forward towards the Wyvern, run under it, turn left, run to the building, continue running until we reach the steps. We move on, not paying attention to the dragon’s “bodyguards”. Finally reaching the goal of our marathon - ladder near the passage through the fog. We climb along it and find ourselves on a wooden platform. The boss is under us. We carefully approach him and jump on his head, simultaneously pressing the strike key. Ready!

Optional Boss: Old Demon King

Location: Smoldering Lake

Reward: soul of the old demon king, 25,000 souls

Armor with fire resistance is very useful here - the Old Demon King is almost the flame itself. He often throws out scorching waves, fireballs, and his ax bursts with heat, causing corresponding damage.

Tactics. While the King only uses an ax in battle, we get closer and hit him from behind, dodging the swings. As soon as the boss decides to breathe fire or throw fireballs, we run away. When the enemy goes to reload, you can run up and attack again.

Optional Boss: Oceiros, the Consumed King

Location: Garden of the Consumed King

Reward: Soul of Consumed Oceiros, 58,000 souls, path to the Abandoned Graves location, Path of the Dragon gesture

Oceiros is a wiry, upright walking ice dragon.

In the first phase, he barely trudges and wields a staff, and in the second, he quickly moves on four bones, trying to freeze us with his breath, also using his tail as a whip. Accordingly, first you need to hit this boss from the flank on the legs, and after moving to the second stage, stay under his stomach (so as not to freeze him) and hit all his limbs.

Optional Boss: The Nameless King

Location: Peak of the Ancient Dragons

Reward: Soul of the Nameless King, 80,000 souls, piece of titanite, dragonslayer set (helmet, armor, gloves, leggings), Nameless King set (golden crown, dragonscale armor, golden bracelets, dragonscale loincloth)

The boss is located in a secret location called "Peak of Ancient Dragons". You can get into it only by killing Oceiros.

First phase. The Nameless King sits on the Stormlord wyvern, and we fight with it. Let's get closer. The king strikes with his sword from the front, and the lizard strikes with his wings from the side, and also breathes fire. We try to pick up the moments, run up to the wyvern’s head and strike it. You can quite successfully protect yourself from flames using a shield with resistance to fire.

Second phase. The dragon is defeated. The nameless king looks with pity at his friend for a while and enters into a fight with us. He moves and fights much like the very first boss - Judge Gundir. Therefore, the tactics here are similar, except that the Nameless King does not break through the shield, which means it can and should be used. We spin around the boss at a very short distance, avoiding attacks, run from behind or from the side, and deliver 1-2 hits. We repeat until he falls.

Congratulations on passing!

The tactical solutions we have proposed are certainly not the only ones. Write in the comments how you cope with bosses and ordinary opponents in Dark Souls 3.
