Children's vacuum cleaner for games. What and how to make a vacuum cleaner with your own hands In addition to the above components, you will need

Most people associate the concept of “vacuum cleaner” with cleaning premises. However, manicurists know that a device with this name is necessary not only in everyday life, but also during the nail extension procedure.

Why do you need a manicure vacuum cleaner?

Nail extensions allow women to make their hands well-groomed and attractive. However, when cutting down gel or acrylic nails A large amount of dust is formed, which contains many harmful components.

Prolonged inhalation of fine particles leads to their settling on the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, which can give rise to the development of certain diseases:

  • rhinitis;
  • tracheitis;
  • bronchial asthma;
  • allergies.

To prevent such unpleasant consequences Manicurists use special vacuum cleaners when removing gel nails.

How to choose the right equipment

To make the work of a nail specialist as comfortable as possible, it is recommended to choose a vacuum cleaner for manicure according to the following characteristics:

  • high performance - the device must effectively suck up dust before it spreads throughout the room;
  • high-quality material of the dust collector - it is impossible for the bag to let the dust particles collected into it pass through;
  • compactness - the vacuum cleaner should not take up much space on the manicure table and interfere with the specialist performing the procedure;
  • noiselessness - loud sound when the equipment is operating leads to irritability, loss of attention, fatigue of the master, which significantly affects the quality of the procedure and the final result.

There are the following types of manicure vacuum cleaners:

  • portable desktop device - is the most popular. It can be used at a permanent workplace or taken with you for nail extensions at a client’s home. This vacuum cleaner is a small device in the form of a hand rest, which is why it performs a double function - it collects dust and allows the client to position his hand comfortably, in addition, it significantly helps the master in his work. When choosing a device of this type, you should pay attention to the material of its body. The most comfortable surface for the client is considered to be one covered with soft leatherette, resistant to solvents and other agents. It will also be a plus if the tabletop device is additionally equipped with a lamp, which will save space on the manicure table;
  • stationary equipment - used only at a permanent workplace, since it is built in above or below the manicure table (the grille from the vacuum cleaner is placed on the tabletop). The advantage of such a device is that it does not take up space on work surface, and it has more power than a desktop vacuum cleaner. However, the cost of such equipment is higher.

Each nail specialist can choose the most suitable design for himself, depending on whether he does a manicure in a salon, at home, or works on the road.

Modern stationary hoods are equipped with powerful lamps, which makes the master’s work easier and saves space on the manicure table.

How to make your own manicure hood

There are many videos on the Internet with reviews of tabletop manicure hoods. Their design is quite simple: a fan is built into the case, under which there is a dust collection bag. Therefore, making such a hood yourself will not be difficult. To do this, you need to be able to work with a soldering iron and prepare the necessary parts.

Vacuum cleaner from a computer cooler

You can create a tabletop hood from a computer cooler using materials that almost everyone has at home, but if not, then they are easy to find in any hardware store. So for homemade apparatus you will need the following parts:

The process of assembling the vacuum cleaner itself is performed in the following sequence:

While filing extended nails, the finished hood can be placed nearby on the work table, and after the procedure, non-woven bags for collecting dust can be easily shaken out and washed, after which they can be used again for work.

A homemade vacuum cleaner can be improved by making a housing for it. To do this, you need to make a structure out of plywood that resembles the roof of a birdhouse. The angle between the two slopes should be approximately 120°. You need to cut a hole in one of the sides and cover it with a protective grill. From the inside, the assembled assembly should be attached to this hole. ventilation product. Place a dust bag on the cooler and start working.

Homemade built-in hood

Stationary hoods, which are used by nail specialists in salons, are quite expensive. But at home you can make a built-in model, spending a small amount.

To make such a vacuum cleaner you will need the same computer cooler. You can use two or even three fans at once, then the exhaust power will increase significantly.

So, to get a built-in manicure hood, you need to follow certain steps:

  1. Determine the location on the table surface where the flat ventilation grille will be located.
  2. Cut a hole in the countertop for the fan.
  3. Attach the assembled structure of a cooler (or several fans) under the table cover.
  4. Place a dust bag on the cooler. You can also attach an exhaust vent to the fan. corrugated pipe, at the end of which it is necessary to place a bag made of fabric on a non-woven basis. Due to their larger size, dust collectors in this case will have to be changed much less frequently.
  5. A grill should be secured to the top of the countertop.

A vacuum cleaner for manicure is necessary in the work of a nail specialist, since such a device helps protect the surrounding atmosphere from pollution by harmful dust, thereby preventing the development of diseases of the upper respiratory tract of the master. Big choice portable and stationary hoods are presented in stores. But if you need to save money, it’s easy to make them yourself.

To do this, we only need the most common rubbish that can be found in any apartment: broken equipment, electronics, wires, cuttings of pipes, hoses and other “garbage” that you regretted throwing away. We will need all this to make a vacuum cleaner from a bottle with our own hands. Let's look at how to do this step by step.

First of all, you need to get a small working electric motor somewhere. Without it, everything else will remain useless trash.

Equipment often fails due to the failure of one part, but everything else remains in good working order. Therefore, you can, for example, borrow a motor and other parts we need from your old cassette recorder, player, music center or children's toy.

To make a vacuum cleaner with your own hands, you need to prepare the following parts:

  • A plastic bottle of a suitable size.
  • Electric motor.
  • Switch with wires.
  • Power supply or batteries.
  • Connector for power supply.
  • Flexible hose or tube.

Tools and consumables:

  • Stationery knife.
  • Soldering iron.
  • Solder.
  • Hot melt adhesive.
  • Scissors.
  • Tin can or bottle.
  • Marker.
  • Ruler.
  • Push pins.
  • Nylon tie or thick wire.
  • Fine nylon mesh.
  • Scotch, adhesive tape or a patch.

Preparation

At the very beginning, you should clearly define the goals that your homemade vacuum cleaner. Some features of its design will depend on this. If we need it, then a battery-powered motor from a children's toy will do just fine. If we are going to make something more serious (for example), then the parts and materials used must be, accordingly, larger and stronger.

You need to be more careful when choosing a motor and a power source for it. Their electrical characteristics must match completely, otherwise problems may arise: one of the two will either burn out or simply not work.

Step-by-step instruction

So, how to make a vacuum cleaner from a bottle? To do this, you need to clearly understand what it looks like. We take a plastic bottle of irregular shape and cut off the neck from it in the place where it expands. We should have something like a lid that can be firmly inserted back.

Then we measure the excess part from the cut of the neck and cut it off in such a way that the remaining volume is enough for the dust collector and placement of the motor.

To make a fan, we can use any piece of soft metal of suitable size. This could be the bottom of a can, a tin lid, or something that can be easily cut with scissors and then bent. Ideally, if we are lucky enough to find a ready-made propeller from some toy.

The diameter of the fan impeller should almost coincide with the inner diameter of the bottle for better suction.

Cut a circle out of a tin and mark it into eight equal parts. Next, we make cuts along the marking lines with scissors, leaving about 5-10 mm to the center of the circle.

We make a hole in the center for the motor rotor, and slightly bend the impeller blades at an angle so that they suck in air during rotation, and not vice versa.

We fasten the fan and the electric motor rotor together with hot glue or another method, trying to avoid distortions in the connection.

We make holes in the bottom for the air flow to escape, simply cutting off the protruding edges of the bottom with a stationery knife.

Then you need to inside Attach the electric motor to the bottom. For this we will need any plastic cover. The main thing is that its size approximately matches the size of the motor.

This is necessary to securely glue the electric motor to the bottom of the bottle using hot glue.

The homemade vacuum cleaner is almost ready, all that remains is that which will separate the electric motor from the dust collection compartment. To do this, we use a fine mesh, which we stretch over a nylon tie or wire bent into a circle.

If the manufactured filter is tightly inserted into our homemade vacuum cleaner without additional fasteners, then you can leave everything as it is. Otherwise, you need to secure it on holders, which can be used as pushpins. The latter need to be inserted into the bottle around the circumference at the place where the filter is attached and wrapped around the outside with adhesive tape.

To make the hose, we use a tube with a diameter slightly smaller than the neck of the bottle. You can wrap several layers of medical plaster around the end of the tube so that the tube fits tightly into the neck and does not slip out of it.

Suction nozzles can be made from anything: ballpoint pen, tubes from a dropper, a syringe, a plastic bottle - depending on their purpose. You can even use small replacement attachments from a real vacuum cleaner if they fit.

Now all that remains is to solve the issue of powering the electric motor, namely: connect a switch and a power source to it with wires, which can be batteries, a rechargeable battery or an AC adapter.

After this, our homemade vacuum cleaner is ready for use!

Conclusion

As you can see, making a small homemade vacuum cleaner or keyboard cleaning machine is not at all difficult. Moreover, the device we made can be easily transported from place to place not only within the apartment, but also used, for example, in the garage for cleaning seats and panels in the car interior.

A homemade vacuum cleaner will be useful for motorists, radio amateurs and any other person for collecting small debris. The basis of the device is plastic container. An engine from a children's toy is installed inside. The simplest instructions will help you figure out how to make a vacuum cleaner from a bottle with your own hands and put it to work.

The simplest model of a vacuum cleaner

For those who really don’t like to tinker with homemade products, it is suggested simplest option vacuum cleaner. In general terms, the device consists of plastic bottle. There is a hose on the neck to suck up debris. Inside the container, a motor with blades is attached to the bottom. A filter is installed between the fan and the inlet.

The materials you will need are a 1–1.5 liter PET bottle, a piece of corrugated hose, copper wire, a nylon stocking, batteries and stranded wire. The motor can be taken from a children's toy, but they are usually weak. In order for the vacuum cleaner to suck up debris well, it is better to remove the motor from a broken tape recorder or other electrical appliance.

The instructions for assembling the vacuum cleaner consist of the following steps:

Making a homemade product starts with the body. The bottle is taken from the Sprite drink. The choice is due to the irregular shape of the container, inside of which it is more convenient to place the parts. At the expansion site, the bottle is cut with a sharp knife. The top will form a lid.

The second part of the bottle narrows a little, and near the bottom it expands greatly. You need to randomly cut a narrow strip from the cut point. The narrowed part will easily fit inside the lid.

The housing is set aside and manufacturing of the fan begins. A durable and lightweight propeller can be made from a tin can for beer or drinks. Use scissors to cut off the bottom and top. The resulting cylinder is cut lengthwise, unbent and leveled to form a rectangular piece of tin.

A circle is drawn on the blank using a compass. The diameter of the propeller and the inside of the bottle near the bottom should almost coincide. Leave 2–3 mm for the gap so that the blades do not touch the walls.

A circle is cut out of tin using scissors. The blank is drawn with a pencil, dividing it into 8 identical triangles. Cuts are made along the lines, not reaching the center 10 mm.

The cut segments are bent at an angle. When rotating, the blades should draw in air, not push it out. In which direction to bend the petals depends on the direction of rotation of the motor shaft. Everything can be experienced experimentally. If the fan pushes air out, the petals can easily be bent in the opposite direction.

A hole is pierced in the center of the propeller with an awl. The impeller is placed on the motor shaft and secured with hot glue or a screw if there is a thread.

When the fan is running, air should come out from the bottom of the bottle. Holes are burned with a soldering iron, drilled or cut out with a knife.

The back of the motor is placed in a plastic plug. The wires come out on the side. The motor is glued to the plug or screwed with bolts if the body has threaded holes.

With a hot gun plastic cover with a motor are glued to the inside of the bottom of the bottle. The engine is located strictly in the center. They try to turn the fan so that the blades do not catch the walls of the bottle.

A filter is made to protect the motor from dust. A ring is bent from thick copper wire to the diameter of the bottle. A piece of nylon stocking is pulled over the frame.

The filter is inserted inside the bottle in front of the motor. The ring should fit tightly. On both sides of the filter, the wall of the container is pierced with pushpins. Stoppers will prevent the ring from moving. To prevent the buttons from falling out, wrap the area of the bottle with electrical tape or tape.

A suction hose is placed on the neck of the second part of the bottle. It can be made from a piece of plastic corrugation for laying electrical wiring. The connection between the hose and the neck is tightly wrapped with electrical tape. Working nozzles are made from any plastic tubes.

The two parts of the vacuum cleaner are done and just need to be connected. Wires from the electric motor are routed through vent on the bottom. You can connect it to the power supply, but pulling the wires behind the vacuum cleaner is inconvenient. It is better to glue a plastic battery compartment to the outer part of the bottom. You can take the mobile vacuum cleaner with you on the road.

Manufacturing a complex cyclone

Assembling the cyclone is a little more difficult due to more details. In addition to a flat juice bottle, you will need disposable syringes, plastic jars, a motor and DVD disc for the propeller.

Assembly of the cyclone consists of the following steps:

Leave 2-3 cm from the bottom of the bottle and draw a line around the circumference with a marker. Stepping back from the markings about 10 cm, draw another line. With a sharp knife cut the container to create a lower part with a bottom, a neck and a ring.

Two plastic jars with lids are selected according to the diameter of the bottle. The upper threaded part is cut off with a hacksaw.

The hot gun is heated until the rod begins to melt. Do not overheat to avoid melting the bottle. The cut thread from the jar is glued to the cut of the top of the bottle with the neck.

The pistons are pulled out from two disposable 20 ml syringes. Using a hacksaw, cut off the upper parts where the needle is put on. On one syringe, the back part with the handles is sawed off.

The syringe with both sides cut off is applied with its end to the side of the bottle near the glued thread from the jar. Make a mark with a marker and cut out an oval hole. The syringe is inserted at an angle, the inside of the bottle is marked with a marker where the protruding part is cut and the excess piece is sawed off. The resulting blank is glued with a hot gun.

For the compressor housing, take a ring cut from the bottle. On one side, glue the second thread from the jar. The lid is glued to the other side with the thread facing outward.

A hole is cut in the center of the glued lid, the second syringe is placed vertically and glued with a hot gun.

A hole is cut in the center of the second cover for the motor shaft. The electric motor is bolted. The shaft should go inside the cover from the thread side.

The DVD disc is split into two parts. The sawn-off part of the syringe with a protrusion for the needle is glued to one half. This will be the socket for mounting the impeller on the shaft. The diameter of the disk is adjusted to the compressor housing, cutting off the edges with scissors.

Rectangles are cut from the second half of the disk. These will be the fan blades. The surface of the disk is divided into 8 equal segments. Glue the cut rectangles strictly along the lines with superglue.

The finished impeller is mounted on the motor shaft. Ventilation holes are burned around the circumference of the compressor housing with a soldering iron.

For the dust collector, take a plastic round container. A hole is cut in the center of the lid. The top of the plastic bottle cap is cut off. The resulting threaded coupling is glued to the lid of the container where the hole is cut.

All details are ready. Now you need to assemble the cyclone. A dust collector is screwed to the top of the bottle with a neck. The compressor housing is screwed onto the free thread, and a cover with a motor is placed on top.

Connect a hose to the cyclone pipe and try to apply voltage to the motor. If the suction is weak, look for air leaks at threaded connections. The problem is eliminated by installing gaskets or wrapping FUM tape around the thread.
The power of a cyclone is superior to that of a simple bottle vacuum cleaner. The homemade product is capable of sucking up dust along with it sawdust and other small grains.

When using a regular vacuum cleaner to collect sawdust, the bag fills up very quickly. I solved this problem for myself - I assembled a cyclone or separator for working with power tools. Assembled from accessible and cheap materials:- empty 19 liter bottle;
- fitting for sewerage 40 mm. (with a 90 degree bend);
- coupling and clamp also 40 mm;
- polypropylene pipe and fittings 20 mm;
- an old hose from a vacuum cleaner;
- plastic bag and an elastic band.

Cyclone assembly

Two 40 mm holes were drilled with a crown in the bottom and side of the bottle. One hole is for the hose from the vacuum cleaner, and the other is for the hose through which the chips will be sucked. From polypropylene pipe a stand was welded to keep the bottle from tipping over. This was the most time-consuming work in assembling my entire structure.

There is a clamp on the stand to secure the hose. And on the neck of the bottle is worn
garbage bag and secure with an elastic band. After finishing work (cleaning), the bottle rises and all the garbage falls into the bag.

Basically the cyclone was assembled to work with mini circular saw and a jigsaw, which use a lot of sawdust, but it has proven itself well when collecting ordinary garbage, since there is now no need to change the dust collection bag: it is almost empty.

During large-scale cleaning of dust or dirt, it will be difficult to deal with debris using a regular broom. Of course, it is best to use a vacuum cleaner. So our task will be to study a detailed analysis of the process of making a vacuum cleaner with our own hands. It is important to understand that this homemade unit will be slightly different from what you purchased technical specifications and multi-level system. The main elements include: a filter (with the help of which the air is purified), an engine and a pump.

Materials

We will carry out the assembly on the basis of an old household vacuum cleaner, so the following elements will be required from it:

  • Various attachments;
  • Motor part;
  • Power regulator;
  • Suction hose;
  • Electrical power cord.

In addition to the above components you will need:

  • glue;
  • capacity polyethylene barrel. from fifty to eighty liters (a lid is required);
  • bandages;
  • scissors that can be used to cut metal, or a well-sharpened knife;
  • drill;
  • scotch;
  • jigsaw;
  • sealant;
  • bolts;
  • clamp;
  • plywood;
  • air filter;
  • screwdriver;
  • self-tapping screws;
  • stud with washers/nuts;
  • a pipe two hundred millimeters long and forty millimeters in diameter;
  • insulating tape.

Assembling the vacuum cleaner

Now let's look at the assembly of the device step by step.

First you need to step back one hundred millimeters from the top edge. Mark and drill a hole with a drill so that the pipe can fit there. Using sharp scissors or a knife, do the following: edit the hole, you need to tightly place the inner end to the wall at a certain angle (pointed down).

Fix the element with glue, after degreasing the work surface. It’s worth doing the same machinations with outside unit. Using a jigsaw, cut two small circles from plywood so that the diameter is slightly smaller than the top surface of the barrel.

For blanks for bolts, make two holes and secure the thin parts on both sides of the cover. The remaining holes also need to be drilled. Remove the circles and eliminate all possible burrs. Apply sealant over the entire surface, without touching the centers of the workpieces. Determine the fasteners thoroughly. Do round hole in the center of the plywood for the pin, and next to it there is a larger hole.

Remove the mesh from the air filter metal material so that it does not become clogged with sawdust and does not interfere with the operation of the device itself. Install the already improved filter component on the stud.

IMPORTANT! The stud should face up with the nut!

Since the motor part is usually round in shape, it is necessary to create the necessary plastic parts (they are taken from a previous unwanted vacuum cleaner). Typically they are included in the engine. To secure them, you should take a clamp.

Next, put the power regulator in the box. Place the previously mentioned element and switch near the engine. Connect all components to each other. Connect the cable to the plug. It is worth making sure that the assembled structure is correct. Take the hose. If it is short, then it must be enlarged with some product, for example, corrugation.

Attach the brush attachment to the hose. The next step is to attach the tube to the dust collector. There are two outcomes here - either it will fit perfectly into the hole, or it won’t. In the last of the above cases, it is necessary to make a so-called adapter. To do this, take a small tube.

REFERENCE. A drain tube will also work. It must be soldered to the bag clamp.

ATTENTION! At first, you will have to check the filling of the dust collector, since the device is not designed for a sensor. And don't bring it to maximum level saturation of dust in the bag.

You can make a vacuum cleaner with your own hands not only from the above materials, but also from a plastic bottle.

Since every person, one might say, most people have a computer, making such a vacuum cleaner will not be difficult. In addition, this method is quite simple and will not cause any difficulties.

It is necessary to cut the bottle into two equal parts. Cut a filter out of foam rubber and insert it tightly into the neck. Next, you need to take the half that has the lid. Insert the hose into it. Then screw the cap onto the bottle. You should take the fan from the PC and smooth out its corners.

Insert it inside so that the air flow is directed to the back of the bottle. Wrap the location of the cooler with insulated tape. The last step is to connect the power supply to the fan. It is necessary to connect the red wire to the plus side, and the black wire to the minus side.

Such a small vacuum cleaner will serve you well for a sufficient amount of time. In addition, it is easy to hold in your hand and work to remove the smallest specks of dust even from small parts. In addition, a homemade vacuum cleaner made from a bottle can serve as a children's toy and will teach your child the wisdom of cleanliness in a playful way.
