Slavic symbols and their meaning. Origin and description of the Slavic amulet Kres

"Take up your cross and follow me..."

Luke (ch. 9, v. 23),

Matthew (chapter 16, art. 24),

Mark (ch. 8, v. 34).

What cross did Jesus tell his disciples about?

Where were they supposed to go with their cross?

What is a procession? What do the expressions mean:

“You don’t have a cross!” and “Put a cross on him!”

11 years ago I wrote an article “Do the Slavs and Aryans carry their cross”? It was published in magazine "Vedic Culture" No. 1.

This article, which was written for the Rodobozhie website, is not a copy of the previous one. Changes and additions have been made to it taking into account personal experience author, accumulated over time.

Genealogy attaches great importance to the cross. This symbol carries a lot of O figurative meaning. The simplest one is this: the vertical line symbolizes the descent of the spirit into matter and the ascent of the spirit, which has gained experience of the material transformation of the world. Horizontal - matter that absorbs the Power of the Spirit and manifests itself in its highest form - Spiritualized Nature.

In the Vedic Heritage of the Ancestors - Rodobozhia, the cross symbolizes countless meanings, phenomena and images in all four worlds, recognized by the majority of representatives of the Slavic-Aryan peoples: Navi, Reveal, Glory and Rule.

There are more than 144 different images of the cross among the Slavs and Aryans. And that's just the main ones! However, unlike the stationary crosses used in religious symbolism, the Slavic-Aryan cross, like Life itself, is in constant motion! Why? Because the ancient meaning of the word “Cres” is radiance, light, fire, and the letter “T” - “Solid” carries the meaning “Creation”, “Statement”. Putting these images together in the word “Cross” we get the meaning of this word: “Shining Creation”, “Affirmation of Light”, etc.

The image of the cross symbolizes the rotation of electrons around (around) the nucleus of an atom, the spiral movement of the planets following Yarila the Sun in His movement along the Heavenly Paths of our Galaxy. The cross represents the movement of the visible part starry sky(from the point of view of an earthly observer) around the star Tara (Pole Star), the movement of the Solar system around the center of our Galaxy, the movement of our Galaxy around the center of our Metagalaxy, the movement of our Metagalaxy around the center of the Universe.

The cross is an image of the simultaneous unity and struggle of opposites, manifesting itself in the battle of Belobog and Chernobog, in the interaction of Spirit and Matter, Life and Death, Light and Darkness, Truth and Falsehood...

The Slavs and Aryans display the moving cross in a rich variety of graphic forms and color combinations. IN written texts his image is depicted with four runes:

The rune “Sva” means Heaven (hence – Wedding, more precisely: SVA DE BO – SVA (Heavenly), DE (Act) BO (Gods).

Rune "C" - means the direction of movement,

And the two runes “Ti-Ka” mean rotation, movement, change. Until now, children, when playing, shout: “Tick!”, i.e. Move quickly, dodging collisions with others. And the phrase “the clock is ticking” means that its mechanism moves, rotating, and the sound “tick-tock” only accompanies its rotational movement.

So, the rotating Cross of Life, which the Slavs and Aryans carry within themselves, is called
Swastika. There are many similar images expressed in other words. Yarga: Yar - Yarila, Ga - path, movement, i.e. Yarga - movement of Yarila-Sun. Kolovrat: Kolo – circle, rotation, V – Vedas, Ra – Primordial Light of the Progenitor, T – hard, i.e. Kolovrat: affirmation of the Primordial Light of the Progenitor, Knowing the Cycle (Life and Death). Svaor: Sva - Heaven, Or - strength, i.e. Svaor - Heavenly Power.

What does the concept “Cross of Life” mean? What he really is? How can you carry it within yourself? To understand this, let us consider the Image and Likeness of God or, in modern terminology, the spiritual and energetic structure of Man.

For the Slavs and Aryans, it is a shining 16-dimensional energy-information cocoon, located outside of time and space. Projection of its manifestation in 4 dimensions (length, width, height and time) material world(world of Reveal) resembles the form of 9 luminous different colors rainbows of spiritual and energetic nesting dolls nested one inside the other.

The projection of the internal (smallest) energy-information cocoon-matryoshka for an observer located in the material world is perceived in black. U Orthodox Old Believers(their Patriarch gave information about the Cross of Life, on the basis of which this article is written), this color is called “black” and symbolizes the color “very dark blue.” They call it "Color" outer space" However, ordinary people who do not have spiritual vision see this color as black.

The projections of the outer, largest energy-informational cocoons shine with silver and white colors. All internal spiritual-energy cocoons (from m e least to b O more) are perceived in colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.

Their glow and form are the result of the interaction of energy-information flows permeating the worlds of Navi, Reveal, Glory and Rule, collected by the Will of the Most High Family-Progenitor in His Image and Likeness into a spiritual-energy cross, consisting of 37 main and 144 auxiliary rotating swastikas . At the same time, 9 of them are the largest and shine the brightest. This is Man and his Life Cross. True, it is possible to see the Cross of Life only with spiritual eyes.

The bodily eyes, perceiving only the world of reality, see only a coarse material shell in the form of a “bag” of bones and muscles covered with skin, although even this shell, with good posture and arms horizontally spread to the sides, resembles the shape of a cross. This is the densest material energy-informational structure of Man.

But even this “bag” is permeated with the energies of chemical decomposition and synthesis, as well as electromagnetic fields and their force flows that control through the central nervous system coordinated activities internal organs. You yourself have seen the projections of these flows in the form of cardiograms and encephalograms (graphic displays of electromagnetic impulses of the heart and brain), as well as photographs taken using the method of the Kirlian spouses.

What is beyond the perception of the bodily eyes? The same Life Cross that Jesus spoke about to his disciples! By the way, the very first of them (even before Jesus called Andrew the First-Called and other Jewish apostles) was a representative of the Slavic-Aryan people who lived in Palennoi Stan (Palestan) - the Apostle Arius. The people of Paleny Stan then called themselves “Behold (this is) we Aryans (Aryans).” The Jews called them Samaritans. Jesus always cited the Aryans (Samaritans) as an example as a merciful and spiritually mature people.

The Arian Church was one of the first to emerge after the completion of the mission of Jesus Christ in Judea. She gave her followers the most correct picture of the world and most accurately conveyed the essence of His Teachings, based on Vedic Knowledge, for which she was persecuted. By the way, for those who doubt that in addition to the Jews, Aryans lived in the Burned Camp, I can suggest that they realize the simple idea that now the inhabitants of the city of Samara can be called Samaritans. But this is the topic of another article, which can be written if it interests readers.

So, the Slavic-Aryan spiritual-energetic Life Cross consists of 9 of the most powerful swastika energy-informational vortexes associated with the activity of the bone, spinal and brain marrow.

The first of them is located at the level of the coccyx. As a result of the fact that it absorbs the most and emits the least amount of energy and information, its color is black (dark purple, but seen by most as black). It's called Source .

The second is at the level of the bodily pubis. Its color is red. Name - Zarod .

The third energy vortex is located at the level of the navel of the physical body. Its color is orange. He's called Belly (Life).

The fourth swastika vortex of energies rotates at the level of the solar plexus and the first (bottom) fused ribs. Color – gold. Name - Percy (Chest).

The fifth and sixth swastika vortices are located in the area of the shoulder joints and armpits of the Hand ( right hand) and Shui (left hand). The Swastika of the Hand shines green and his name is Lado. Shuya's swastika has a blue glow and is called Lelya. Moreover, the direction of rotation Lado - Kolovrat (towards the Sun), and Lely – salting (according to the Sun).

The seventh vortex is located at the level of the junction of the spinal cord and brain. Color is blue. Name Mouth (Mouth).

The eighth swastika rotates in the area of the brain at the level of the eyebrows. Shines purple and is called Chelo .

The ninth vortex circles above the crown, and not in a vertical, but in a horizontal plane. Shines silver color. His name is Spring .

The tenth swastika rotates above the crown, just like the Spring, in a horizontal plane. She shines white and is called Light

The Cross of Life described above fills our bodies: Explicit (physical), Zharje (energetic), Navier (sensual), Klubier (mental), Kolobier (intellectual), Divye (spiritual), and two spiritual ones - Causal (particle of Inglia of the Most High Ramhi) and Light (spiritual light of all our lives).

Possesses and controls all these bodies – our True “I”, the Main Zhivatma, whose name is Zhiva. She and her two spiritual bodies are outside of time and space - in the world of Rule. Through Divya’s body, which lives in the world of Slavi and has the ability to interact with the world of Pravi, Zhiva controls all other bodies, which are manifestations of her false “Ego”.

The projection of Zhiva in the world of Reveal is located at the intersection of the vertical and horizontal spiritual-energy flows of the Life Cross (eight vertically located from the Origin to the Light and two horizontally located - Lado and Lelya vortexes of the Life Force).

This “crossroads” of vertical and horizontal flows of the Life Cross is the place of contact between human consciousness and the co-Knowledge of the Supreme Progenitor. IN Folk Tradition this “Center” (Middle Point) is called “Stone Alatyr” or “Heart”. The concept of “Heart” comes from the phrase: “Middle” and “This” (one meaning is this, another meaning is radiance). Also, the phrase “Middle” and “Tse”, “Che” is the Vital Force of Man.

From the image of “Heart” comes the concept of “Concentrate” - to align yourself with the Middle Point, i.e. transfer your attention from the false “Ego” to the Living – True “I”. I ask readers not to confuse the spiritual and energetic concept of “Heart”, “Focus” with the cardiac muscle of the physical body. All Russian folk tales and epics are filled with images of the “Stone of Alatyr”, as a manifestation of the Center of the Earthly and Heavenly. The most accurate images are contained in those presented on the Rodobozhie website in text and video format.

Let's consider the purpose of the energy vortexes of the Cross of Life:

The Source, Origin and Belly draw Life Force from the world of Navi.

Source absorbs the Power of the Earth Element, ensuring the vital activity of the physical body. The Fiery Power of the Progenitor is hidden in it, which for most people is in an unawakened state. Only those who sensibly engage in spiritual self-improvement (yoga) gradually awaken this Power, coordinating their actions and experiences with the Vedic Treatises on yoga and the experience of a knowledgeable person. In yoga, this Power is called Kundalini Shakti.

Those who do not show common sense in yoga (yogis) can cause serious harm to their physical, energetic and mental health, since the Power of Kundalini Shakti controls the life activity of our entire Universe. Compared to Her power, hydrogen and nuclear bombs look like New Year's firecrackers and firecrackers. We can say that this is the Power of the Progenitor Family in the images of the Goddesses Rozhana and Zhiva.

Zarod receives energy from the Element of Water and other living beings, and also absorbs and emits the energy of reproduction. Through this vortex flow, a woman enters the male power necessary to conceive and bear a child, the energy of the male seed, the energy of the images of the Spirit (the qualities of a man who is alive) and the Blood (the qualities of her husband’s Breed).

With this flow of Life Force, a woman receives the gifts of her husband: the Blessing of her husband’s Family (she receives the protection of her husband’s Family, in addition to the patronage of her father’s Family), the Gift of Motherhood, the Women’s Share (the gift of love for her husband and children) and Family Memory (intuitive insight into accumulated experience of their incarnations and the incarnations of their Ancestors along the female line, necessary to create and maintain an atmosphere of Love and Harmony in the family and home).

A man through the Origin receives a gift from his wife - the Gift of Fatherhood (the ability to embody full-fledged offspring, the talent of teaching sons the Wisdom of Life and their profession, the talent of raising daughters best qualities future wives, talent for spiritual education of wives and children in order to bring them after themselves to God).

Belly (Life) accepts and radiates the Life Force and Wisdom of the Family, as well as the energy of the Element of Fire. First, in the womb, through the umbilical cord, and then, after birth, from the Almighty Progenitor in the images of: the Patron God of the Family, the Alive Goddess and the Lord Star.

This energy controls the origin and development of Human Life, first in the seed of his father, then in the womb of his mother. The belly (Life) rules the lower energy centers, as well as the entire Life of an individual, including the conception of his children, their birth and upbringing. If higher energy information centers are not developed and are not consciously used by him, this is not yet a Man, but only a Living (Resident).

The next three vortexes: Percy (Chest), Lado and Lelya receive and emit Life-carrying energies of the world of Reveal.

Percy (Chest) provides “Solar Breathing” (the ability to receive and emit the energy of the Air Element and the Life Force of Yarila-Sun), receives and emits information and energy of Creative Creation, revealing the ability to create objects of the Explicit World.

Percy also manages the processes of acquiring and transferring military, production and administrative skills, the ability to creatively organize the Living Space around him: in the house, in the family, in the family household, in the work collective, in the village (village). As they master these capabilities, people learn to organize the Living Space around them in the city, Vesi (region), in the State, on Earth (planet).

Lado accepts and radiates the energies of Love, Tenderness, Happiness, Goodness. In the Lado vortex, the “Ha” energy predominates - the male Power of the Progenitor Family, manifesting itself in the world of Reveal as the “Yang” energy. Previously in Rus' they used to say about a woman “my Lada”, and about a man – “my Lado”.

Lelya provides intuitive knowledge of the world of reality and intuitive creativity in it (technical inventions, scientific discoveries). “Tha” energy predominates in Lelya’s vortex – feminine power The Progenitor Family, manifesting itself in the world of Reveal as the energy “In”. People who are aware of the vital activity of their energy vortexes Lado (Ha) and Lelya (Tha) can begin to consciously streamline their interaction with the inner and outer world by taking up Ha-Tha Yoga.

If the higher spiritual and energy centers are not developed and are not consciously used, this is still not a Man, but only a People (Ludina). However, even if only these centers of consciousness (from Istok to Lelya) are well developed, they say about such people: “Garna Lyudina!”

The next three vortexes: Mouth (Mouth), Chelo and Spring receive and radiate Life energies Elements of Ether (Space) and the world of Glory (the highest levels of Light Navi).

Usta (Mouth) provides a Person with the perception and transmission of energy of Sensory Images. All representatives of the arts use this spiritual and energy center in their creativity. He helps to bring the Beautiful from higher worlds into the world of Reveal.

Chelo perceives and transmits Mental images that control the intellectual and spiritual development of Man, provides the possibility of Clairvoyance and Clairaudience, i.e. visual and auditory perception of the multidimensional (from 5 to 16 dimensions) world of Slava, as well as the Past and Future world of Reveal and parallel Explicit worlds.

Spring perceives and emits the energy of the Will and the Highest Spiritual images of the world of Glory, as well as the Spiritual images of the world of Rule. The spring is the main organ of interaction with the ascended Ancestors, Patron Gods and the Progenitor Family. Anyone who has developed the mental and spiritual abilities to consciously perceive and control the Life Force of the Mouth, Brow and Spring deservedly acquires the title of a Man bearing his Life Cross.

Svetoch accepts and emits the energies of the Highest Spiritual images of the world of Rule. When a Man reaches the level of consciousness of the God of the world of Glory, his Life, carried away by the Power of Ascension to the Family (Kundalini-Shakti), rises to the Light and, through it, enters the world of Rule. This is how she acquires a Personal relationship with the Progenitor Rod and its Transpersonal Essence – Ramha. Such People are called Light Elders and Elders (Stara means 100 Ra, i.e. radiating Ra a hundred times).

I hope it’s now clear what Jesus was saying to his disciples? That's right, he invited them to follow his spiritual experience and become, after him, the Gods of the world of Glory.

What then" Procession"? For Christians, this is walking with candles, church utensils and psalms around (around) a settlement affected by an epidemic, in order to cure the disease. In addition, they walk around the church on Easter, which symbolizes the “walking of the myrrh-bearing women to the tomb of Jesus,” in hoping to see him not dead, but alive.

In the Primordial (Old) Faith of the Slavs and Aryans - Rodobozhia, this is a rite of sedition - a daily meeting, farewell and “Carrying your Life Cross” following your elder brother - the God of the world Rule Yarila-Sun, who fills the whole with the Ra-Light of the Truth of the Most High solar system and the inhabitants of its 27 Lands (planets) in all three worlds: Navi, Reveal and Rule. Slavic-Aryan Sedition is a ritual of co-attunement with the elder Brother Yarila the Sun with the goal of following His path and further becoming a God like Yarila the Treslight.

Expression: “You have no cross!” - this is convicting someone of the fact that he is not yet a Human being, therefore he does not understand the human level of relationships and cannot maintain them, or has degraded from the Human level of consciousness to the Human level, or even worse - to the Everyday one.

Only People who have reached the level of consciousness of God or the Goddess of the world Glory (Elder or Elder), who have nurtured their Divya bodies (Souls), can maintain their attention in them and, under the control of their True Selves, can “put a cross on someone” - Alive, able to overcome the darkness of their false “Egos”.

In this case, they can “put a cross on someone,” i.e. to grant the student his experience and the opportunity to quickly reveal his spiritual potential through mastering his chakra activity, i.e. bringing all the student’s swastika vortices to harmonious interaction with other living beings, Nature, Native Gods and the Supreme Progenitor.

The Slavic cross is a powerful ancient Slavic amulet. The meaning of the amulet carries deep meaning, combines the power of pagan gods and the greatness of the one God. Ancient Slavic crosses have several types, each symbol means something different.

Types of swastika

Today, almost every jewelry store sells ancient Slavic symbols. But few people really understand the power of such amulets. But an Old Slavonic cross, if worn incorrectly, can harm not only its owner, but also leave a negative imprint on the entire family. Each symbol and design on the jewelry has its own meaning.

Heavenly cross

The equilateral cross combines the runes Ga and Az, the first symbolizes conscious movement, the second - the awareness of God and Spirit. The body symbol is allowed to be worn by everyone; it signifies family unity. Magic powers The amulet is aimed at protecting its owner and his family.

The amulet can bring:

  • peace of mind;
  • heal from diseases;
  • strengthen family relationships;
  • protect from damage and the evil eye;
  • success in business.

Everyone can wear it, the Slavs often put the amulet on children to protect them from dark forces, envy and the evil eye, to protect them from wrong actions, and to impose protection on their ancestors.

The Slavs believed that the heavenly cross carried within itself the wisdom of generations.

Celtic cross

A powerful amulet combines the faith of pagans and Christians. The body sign combines patterns of symbols of Christianity (cross) and paganism (sun). This amulet carries powerful energy, so it must be handled with care. He personified power, unearthly power and protection of higher powers.

This sign was worn mainly by men. Church ministers wore it on their chests, thereby emphasizing their greatness. Warriors going to war believed that the talisman would help them return from the war safe and sound. Women made embroidery on the shirts of their men, whom they wanted to protect.

The Celtic cross among the Slavs connected the past, present, future, the feminine with the masculine. That is why sorcerers often use it in their rituals.

He helps:

  • gain power;
  • develop intuition;
  • achieve harmony with yourself;
  • enhances psychic abilities;
  • gives self-confidence;
  • protects against black magic.

Templar Cross

This symbol is still considered the most mysterious and powerful. The talisman was blessed by the Pope to fight opponents of Christianity. Those who wore this sign were distinguished by cruelty and bloodthirstiness.

Today, the Slavic cross-amulet is used by Catholics, atheists and Christians. It is capable of providing powerful protection from any dark forces and allows you to gain control over the situation. Since the talisman has powerful masculine energy, it is best worn by men. It should not be worn on children.

How to wear a body badge correctly

The Slavic amulet in the form of a heavenly cross is worn by everyone, even children. The talisman is worn on the chest constantly or during periods of emotional distress, illness, or quarrels in the family. It is better to consecrate the cross in the church, then it will acquire even greater magical power.

The Celtic sign or the Templar cross is so powerful that it is not advisable to wear it constantly. It is worn during periods of strong energy attacks, in moments of intense fear, great troubles and worries.

The cross is worn by men; women were allowed to wear it only in especially difficult cases. But they also used this talisman to protect their family and home from evil; it was enough to hang it in front of front door or on the mirror in the hallway.

Material for amulets

It doesn’t matter what material your amulet will be made of, what matters is what meaning you put into its meaning. The most popular and energetically strong metals are silver and gold.

Also, the Slavic swastika could be made of wood, leather, or woven from grass. Girls, wanting to protect their men from evil, created entire embroidery patterns and applied them to their undershirts. Embroidered patterns contained the same protective power as a metal product.

Sometimes the power of the amulet lay in the runes, the pattern of which was applied to the cross-amulet. Another enhancement of the talisman were precious stones.

Charging and cleansing the talisman

Any talisman gives some strength to its owner, and it itself absorbs all the negativity that is directed at it. To magic sign worked at full capacity, you need to clean and charge it from time to time.

Once every one or two weeks, the heavenly cross is placed on the windowsill under the moonlight, so it will be cleansed and recharged with energy.

For the remaining amulets, a ritual is performed. For this you will need:

  • holy or spring water;
  • Thursday salt;
  • thin church candles.

To energetically cleanse gold and silver items, do the following:

Slavic Amulets: What is it, why and how to do it correctly

Another way to cleanse the talisman from negative energy- take it to church when the priest illuminates the water.

The Templar cross requires a more complex ritual, all the same attributes are used, and all actions are accompanied by special spells. The time to clean the amulet is during sunset. It is necessary to clean the talisman after each energy attack, regardless of when the last ritual of cleansing the amulet was performed.

The roots of Slavic culture go back to ancient times. Before the adoption of Christianity, the Slavs worshiped a huge number of gods. The Pantheon was measured by various rulers, who in their own way protected and controlled everything that happened on Slavic land. However, such an element of the culture of our ancestors as symbolism is still poorly understood. This is because historians underestimate the importance of the pre-Christian period in shaping modern beliefs.
What is a symbol?

Slavic symbolism is so diverse in content and form that it is simply impossible to fully cover all its components. It is worth noting that the symbol in its meaning is a multifaceted phenomenon. A symbol is not only a set of specific signs that carry some information. A symbol is, first of all, the result of finding certain meanings of human and divine existence. It includes a huge share of magic, incomprehensible to ordinary person. Ancient people, the Slavs, among others, believed in the influence of various symbols on the course of events and the development of all life on Earth.
Slavic symbols-amulets.

The Slavs believed in higher powers and associated them primarily with the phenomena of the surrounding world. Therefore, among the variety of symbols, the presence of the Sun, Nature, Earth and Fertility, Water, Fire, Air and Space is distinguished. Each of the elements and natural phenomena is widely represented in the symbolism of the ancient Slavs. But the symbolism of the union of two principles occupies a special position in culture. The Slavs clearly understood that Man and Woman must exist inseparably. It can be noted that almost all psychological theories are based on the beliefs of the ancient Slavs about the inviolability of the union of Man and Woman.

Thus, the entire diversity of Slavic symbols is explained by the presence of a widely developed ancient Slavic culture. This confirms the fact that our ancestors had enough high level development, which is not only interesting to study, but also useful.

Slavic amulets are symbols that have certain characteristics in relation to a person and have a certain effect on him. The symbols on Slavic amulets have meanings that can be viewed in the table. You can buy Slavic amulets with these symbols on our website, online store "Zarenitsa".

The word "symbol" has Greek roots. The ancient inhabitants called signs that had a secret meaning known to certain groups of people. For example, early Christians drew fish to be recognized by their fellow believers. The Greeks could not speak out loud about their views. The persecution of Christians and their executions forced us to be careful.

The ancients also had their own symbols. They also reproduced their belief in something in visual images. And our ancestors believed in the forces of nature. They were deified. So that the elements would not destroy or dry up, but, on the contrary, would help in life, the Russians sketched them in the form of signs.

These signs were placed on clothes, weapons, and houses. This is how the Slavs sought the favor of higher powers and asked them for protection. It all started with 3 symbols - fire, water and earth. We will reveal the entire spectrum of Slavic symbols, from the earliest to the latest.

Makosh

Makosh is a symbol of the earth, named after the Goddess who commands it. First Slavic symbols easy to "read". Diamond means field. If it is empty, it means it has not yet been sown. If divided into sectors, it is plowed. A field with dots indicates that there will be a harvest soon.

General interpretation symbol - fertility. An ancient conspiracy pronounced in honor of Mother Raw Earth has been preserved. We invite you to listen to it and look at options for depicting Mokosh, both in human and graphic forms. Sometimes, the Slavs refused to use the rhombus.

Abyss

The abyss is a sign of the water element and its spirits. They, according to the ideas of our ancestors, lived above the sky. The expression “the abyss of heaven opened up” is still used to describe rainy days. The symbol itself is also found in ornaments on clothes, carved elements furniture and houses. But not everyone remembers the nuances of the meaning of the image.

Meanwhile, the Slavs only designated rivers and underground waters with horizontal lines. The second option for abyss is vertical lines. They symbolized rain and waterfalls.

IN ancient Slavic symbols straight lines are also included. This is a sign of stagnant waters - whirlpools, swamps. The absence of waves indicates the dominance of wickedness. In all Russian legends, evil spirits live exclusively in stagnant bodies of water.

Agni

Agni is a general designation for fire. However, he was part of Slavic symbols and amulets in several types. The Russians shared the earthly flame - bonfires, fires and heavenly fire - lightning. The last one was controlled by Perun.

God Semargl was responsible for the elements in the earthly world. It’s interesting that our ancestors only extinguished live fires with water. The heavenly flame, according to Slavic beliefs, was only kindled by water. Therefore, fires caused by lightning were doused with milk and bread kvass.

Despite the destructive forces, agni entered Slavic signs and symbols goodness, pure elements. By the way, the earthly flame had a spouse - the same Abyss. According to legend, the lovers quarreled due to constant rivalry between themselves. As a result, the fire hid in flint, from which people had to cut it out.

Agni is included in the pantheon of swastika symbols. The Slavs had more than 124 of them. Not all images and, especially, their meanings have survived to this day. However, let's try to figure out what kind of community of signs this is.

Kolovrat

Kolovrat – Slavic solar symbol, like most swastika ornaments of the ancient Slavs. The connection with the daylight is visible from the name. For our ancestors, the word “kolo” meant “solar circle.” The life of the tribes completely depended on it, the harvest and way of life depended.

Therefore, drawings with rays diverging from the center were so popular. In the first third of the 20th century, one of the signs was used by Hitler. This tarnished the symbol. Initially, it carried only a positive charge. The Russians and the Germanic tribes were related. Their sign systems were similar.

That swastika Slavic symbol, indicate artifacts found by archaeologists in western Russia and stored in state museums. We bring to your attention a video with evidence. The entry will also tell you about several more swastika symbols of the Russians.

Veles

The Slavs deified everything in nature. Every tree, stone, pond, house, and phenomenon had its own spirit. Many of them were associated with solar, swastika images. But several symbols of Slavic Gods look different. For example, the sign of Veles was drawn like an inverted letter “A”.

The triangle is a prototype of the head. The inverted sickle above it resembles horns. It turns out to be the head of a bull. What's the connection? Veles was considered the patron saint of cattle. At the same time, God was responsible for inspiration, helping singers, musicians and other creators.

Valknut

Valknut is the sign of God Odin. It is considered Scandinavian. But the Russians also believed in this supreme spirit of war. Valkyries served him. They circled over the battlefields, picked up the fallen and carried them to the heavenly city.

There, food awaited the slain, which was also presented to the Valkyrie. Valknuts made of metal, wood, embroidered on clothes - symbols of the Slavic faith that the protectors of the clan find a better life in the upper world.

Perunitsa

Perunitsa looks like lightning because it is associated with Perun. The Thunder God was associated among the Russians with light in the darkness. Slavic family symbol our ancestors were perceived as a sign of victory over the evil hidden in the darkness. “Lightning” was carved in stone, embroidered on dresses, and applied to plows, prophesying prosperity, a bright and successful future.

Full information about the heavenly spirit and its incarnations, see the video “Legacy”. Its author will not only talk about Perun, but will also provide video footage of the celebration of the Thunderer in modern conditions. Perun Day falls on July 20th.

Svarog Square

Our ancestors considered Svarog one of the patrons of fire. God was also responsible for wisdom, marriage, and helped hunters and blacksmiths. Svarog is the supreme spirit, the head of the pagan pantheon.

Therefore, it was in his name that most oaths were sealed. Svarog's wife is the main Goddess of the female pantheon, Lada. Her sign is swastastic. The symbol is called a ladin and resembles a wheel with 8 axles.

But, on geometric compositions Slavic symbols and their meaning don't end. The Russians also chose realistic images of animals as amulets. The tribes considered them totems, that is, they believed that their progenitors were bears and moose. Let's talk about them.

Bear

The bear reflects the mentality of the Russians. At least that's what they think in the West. They say about the beast: “The bear is clumsy, and hefty.” It was not for nothing that the party members chose the predator as their sign “ United Russia" This is how politicians emphasized the character of the Russian people. But, now about the history of the symbol. So, our ancestors admired the strength of the bear.

He was called the owner of the forest and was associated with Veles, one of whose meccas was groves and oak forests. Clubfoots were included in Slavic symbols tattoo. There is written evidence of its existence in Rus'. One of them was left by the Arab traveler Ibn Fadlan, who lived in the 10th century.

Wolf

It is no coincidence that the wolf’s muzzle in the picture is enclosed in the outline of one of the Vedic runes. It does not belong to the “alphabet” of the ancient Slavs; it was borrowed by them from the Scandinavian selection of runes. The sign is called "otal". Its decoding is “inheritance”. 5 tribes of our ancestors considered themselves heirs or descendants of wolves.

They included dog-like predators in Slavic symbols of wealth. Historians have found an explanation for this attitude towards wild animals. He defended the crops of the Russians.

They, as a rule, came into contact with the forest. Roe deer came out of the oak forests, trampling the crops, and hares ran out, eating the seedlings. Wolves did not cause harm; on the contrary, they hunted those who bothered the farmers.

In ancient times, as they say, there was no need for wolves to eat the livestock of the Slavs. There was plenty of game in the native forest. This is how our ancestors built their interaction with predators. They were not killed, but they were considered lucky to find a dead animal. They skinned him and pulled out his fangs. These items were considered talismans of the tribe.

Boar

The swastika sign depicted next to the animal is a symbol of the heavenly boar. He was considered one of the incarnations of God Perun. The analogy was drawn thanks to the sharp tusks of a wild boar.

These are lightning falling from the sky. Our ancestors believed in this. Like wolf fangs, they used boar tusks as amulets, in particular against fires caused by lightning.

Slavic symbols, photo which are discussed in the article, Russians embroidered on towels and clothes. But our ancestors did not have the tradition of carving images of totems in wood, like the Scandinavians.

Elk

Deer and moose cows were included in Slavic symbols for women. Totems emphasized their role as mothers. The forest animal was a sign of fertility. The Russians tried to get the animal's horns. Their shape reminded our ancestors of rays.

The seedlings in the fields depended on it. It was believed that the warmth of the luminary also helped women give birth. Therefore, elk antlers in the house were a valuable amulet. The trophy, as a rule, was placed above the entrance to the home.

Elk - not only Slavic symbol of the sun, but also the world tree. The horns remind him too. In pagan times, the Russians considered the tree the center of the world. The trunk denoted the earthly lands, the roots - the underground kingdom, the crown - the sky.

Somewhere above the branches, according to our ancestors, there was Iriy - a semblance of Paradise. The legends indicate that the world tree grows on Buyan Island. So, the lost land from Pushkin’s fairy tale is a folklore image of the Russian people, and not an invention of the author.

To write his works, Alexander Sergeevich used the Cyrillic alphabet. This is the alphabet familiar to us, adopted after the baptism of Rus'. But, until the 9th century, the Slavs had a different writing system - the Vedas or, as they are also called, runes.

Each of them is more than a letter. The signs were compared with gods and used as talismans. We have already talked about one of the runes associated with the image of a wolf. It's time to get acquainted with the rest of the Vedas included in Slavic symbols and amulets. Their meaning, Further.

World

"world" opens the Vedic alphabet. The "letter" is similar in appearance to the antlers of a moose and the tree of life, so "world" was used to represent them. But the main interpretation of the sign is associated with Belobog.

This bright spirit protected the Slavic families. The very word “peace” in the language of the tribes meant precisely their community, unity. Therefore, the Veda is included in Slavic symbols, pictures which serve as amulets for the family and, in general, for humanity.

Altyr

The word “altyr” is not in vain reminiscent of “altar”. This is a divine place, the center of the universe. This is exactly how our ancestors understood the Veda. If needed download Slavic symbols, denoting both the beginning and the end of all things, the “altyr” sign is the best choice.

The rune can be compared to the eastern symbol “yin-yang”. “The Letter” indicates the eternal struggle between chaos and order, Belobog and Chernobog - the spirit of destruction and evil.

Rainbow

The modern letter "r" can be called a stylization of the "rainbow". Our ancestors saw in this Veda a sign of the path, the joy of life's path. According to Russian beliefs, the path of the rainbow leads to the altar. “Letter” helps to find the shortest vector. The Slavs used the symbol so as not to get lost while walking towards their goal.

Force

This means not only physical strength. To walk the path of the rainbow, you need the power of consciousness, freedom from the shackles of your own consciousness. Veda serves Slavic symbol of good luck. Hunters tried to have his image with them. The first written mentions of the runes of our ancestors date back to the 6th century.

The lines were recorded by the Gothic scholar Jordanes. But, modern historians believe that the iconic alphabet was formed in the 4th century AD. This is confirmed by archaeological finds on the territory of Moldova. Its lands were inhabited by Slavic tribes.

Eat

The Veda served as a sign of the natural variability of existence. The rune contains hidden energy that gives the grass the strength to grow, run through the veins, and the juices of the earth through the trunks.

However, Slavic signs and symbols and their meaning associated not only with the positive aspects of life. There were about 20 Vedas in the “alphabet” of the pagans. We consider the main ones. So, let's get acquainted with the signs that are rarely used as amulets.

Need

This Veda is a symbol of inevitability, evil fate. The sign was used in cases where people were subjected to coercion and captivity. To this day, magicians use “need” to appeal to the dark forces of nature, which are controlled by Chernobog. In a later version of Slavic beliefs, this is Veles.

Rock

Veda meant fateful, inevitable events. Sometimes, “rock” was used to mean “hopelessness.” If the sign fell in, it meant that the situation was controlled by higher powers and nothing depended on the person. In the study of the symbols of the ancient Slavs, the “rock” rune is unlikely to be decisive.

Whether or not to get acquainted with traditions and the history of ancestors is everyone’s volitional decision. In former times, the Slavs considered familiarity with the traditions of their clan mandatory. Perhaps this is why echoes of paganism remain strong in modern culture.
