The handle for the seeder is made of a wooden strip, which is attached in the middle of the assembled structure. The mounting location is calculated based on the sum of the length of the bar and one and a half diameter of the pipe. After substitution, 0.75 of the diameter is cut off. Based on the size of the pipe diameter, semicircles are selected for it, which must be secured to the handle on both sides using epoxy resin. The rail is galvanized and crimped tightly with pliers. We pre-drill through holes with a diameter of 1.2 cm in the plates and put it on the shaft on both sides. We weld the remaining loose side of the plate to the nut of the pusher handle.
  • We solder the seed hopper from a thin tin and be sure to solder ears on it for a strong connection with screws to the pusher. We also solder brackets in the form of a triangle to the handle, so that we can then connect it with the hopper-dispenser with M4 bolts. The bottom of the hopper should taper and fit snugly against the pulley. The simplest homemade seeder is ready.

  • Using a drill with a 2.5 mm drill, we make a hole in the pipe, select the rod inside to a depth of 2.5 mm, but no more. We rotate the rod 45 degrees and select the recesses again. We repeat the action seven times, distributing the holes evenly on the rod. If necessary, reduce the landing step by turning the rod to a smaller degree.
  • We take the drum rod out of the tube and drill holes at the bottom with a 5 mm drill, then again connect the tube to the rod.


At the top of the tube we attach a seed hopper from which they will fall into the dispenser. You can take plastic bottles 0.5 l: drill holes with a diameter of 5 mm in the caps and place them so that the holes in the bottle cap and the tube coincide. We make a handle for the seeder: we attach a wooden strip in the middle of the structure, based on the length of the bar plus one and a half pipe diameters, after which 0.75 of the diameter is cut off. We select semicircles at these ends that match the diameter of the pipe. All this is clamped with bars on both sides and secured epoxy resin. The rail is wrapped in galvanized steel and crimped well with pliers. The ends of the galvanization are wrapped in accordance with the width of the planting groove.
