2. Now we need to break the black part. Tap it with pliers, and then bend it and break it out.

3. Very carefully remove the inside. We do everything slowly, there is no need to rush in this matter.

4. When the entire inside is pulled out, carefully clean the hole with pliers to remove excess glass.

5 . And the last step is to take a rope and wrap it around the metal part, and don’t forget to make a loop so that you can hang our vase. We put flowers in our light bulb, and we get beautiful decoration for home!

This is what the end result looks like!

Often old light bulbs burn out and you have to throw them in the trash. But the graceful shape of a light bulb can be simply delightful if given another chance to benefit people by decorating their lives. This time we'll watch a video tutorial on how to make a flower vase from a burnt-out light bulb. It will turn out small, just enough for one to three flowers. But this does not in any way detract from its practical usefulness for the home.

So, what do you need to work on this craft?

In addition to the lamp, you will need a wire that is quite strong, but at the same time quite flexible. This type is used to make clothes hangers. You can take it if you don’t have anything else at hand. Additionally, you can take an LED key fob. It will be the basis for decorating the vase. For safe work, the author recommends taking gloves. He’s great at this; there should be a habit of not doing everything at random, but constantly, in every case, taking care of your health. Useful setup.

Step-by-step instruction.

Once you get started, you need to take the light bulb in your gloved hand, then break the central part of the base by piercing it with a thin screwdriver. We carefully break through the entire glass nest and take out the insides. All this must be done slowly and carefully so as not to break the main glass part of the future vase. Now there is a base - a blank for a decorative vase made from a light bulb!

But that's not all, you need to take a hanger and straighten the wire from which it is made. Having chosen a piece 60 cm long, divide it into 5 equal parts, but do not cut the wire. You just need to bend it according to the marks into a triangle, which will lie at the base, one segment will be vertical, and another will become the vase holder. The latter needs to be bent to the shape of the neck of the lamp.

Now all that’s left to do is to make it beautiful, for this we’ll take an LED keychain and remove the spare parts from it, or rather the batteries and the LED. We will only use an LED, since its batteries are too big. Taping everything together electrical diagram, carefully tuck it inside the base so that you can, if necessary, close the contacts and illuminate our vase in the evening or at night, turning it into a night light.

Such an easy-to-make, but very interesting in design and shape, flower bowl will be a good decoration for a living room or bedroom.

Bulb- a household item that is found in every home. When it reaches its expiration date, we usually throw it away. And we do it in vain. Because the “life” of a light bulb does not end when it burns out. She can “live” her second life with great benefit for its owner.

The light bulb will serve as a wonderful decoration home interior. For example, you can make a flower vase from a burnt out light bulb.

Let's first decide which light bulbs can be used to make a vase.

These can be standard household light bulbs; it is advisable to choose a light bulb made of transparent glass. The larger the lamp, the correspondingly larger the vase.

The first method of making a vase from a light bulb

Carefully unscrew the lamp base. You can use pliers. We take out the internal structure of the lamp, and we are left with a glass bulb in our hands. It will, in fact, be a vase.

Since the bottom of the flask is spherical, our vase is unstable. We need to create a support to stabilize the vase. To do this, you can make a stand for a vase.

As a sample, you can take a stand for round aquarium for fish. Since the light bulb is noticeably smaller than the aquarium, our supply for the vase will be smaller. The material for delivery is thick wire. We wrap it around the bottom of the flask and create miniature legs with the shape of a wire.

You can also find a ring of a suitable diameter to support the vase. It would be better if it was made of transparent glass. In this case, it will not stand out and will fit harmoniously into the design of the vase. The ring can be purchased in stores in the jewelry department.

The second method of making a vase from a light bulb

We don't unscrew the base. We will need it to create a support. We remove the insulator and the bottom contact of the light bulb.

To create a support, we will need thick wire, just like in the first method. We wrap the wire around the base in a spiral using pliers. We draw the remaining piece of wire along the length of the light bulb and then make a circle out of it, which will serve as the base and at the same time, a support for the vase.

The third method of making a vase from a light bulb

The vase can not only be placed, but also hung.

This method is similar to the second. We also wrap the wire in a spiral around the base, but we do not bring it under the support, but, on the contrary, to the top, creating a kind of hook on which we will hang the vase.

Where can you hang a vase made from a light bulb?

Perfect place- support for flowers. A light bulb vase can be hung between the pots. The result will be a very interesting composition.

The wire can be wrapped with multi-colored ribbon or rope. Additionally, you can wrap the wire with a thread of beads, which will add sophistication to the entire composition. You can also stick butterflies on the tape, and on the rope - ladybugs, made from decorative material. Don't forget to combine the colors and textures of all materials.

Now, all that remains is to fill the cavity of the flask with water, and the vase for miniature bouquets is ready!

As a rule, flower vases are very large or medium in size. Today on tutdizain.ru the creation of small vases in which, for example, you can put a small bouquet of snowdrops given on March 8 - a do-it-yourself light bulb vase. To create them, improvised tools and inexpensive materials are used.

To create a vase from a light bulb you will need:

Light bulbs (use already burnt out ones)

Wire cutters or pliers

Something suitable for removing internal parts (eg a screwdriver)

Wire

The process of creating a vase from a light bulb:

It is important when opening the light bulb and removing the “insides” not to injure yourself. This is the first stage of the work process, for which pliers or wire cutters are used.

Take the light bulb with a towel, rag, or you can simply cover it in a thick sock. This is in case it suddenly breaks or bursts, and you don’t hurt your hands.

So, use wire cutters or unscrew the bottom of the light bulb, this will probably require some manpower.

Remove the inner parts of the light bulb, while helping with a screwdriver or other suitable tool. Work carefully, because glass is a very fragile material!

After you remove everything, you need to rinse thoroughly. inner part light bulbs under the tap and wipe with a napkin.

After that, the light bulb can either be placed on a plastic ring or a “handle” can be screwed on so that it can be hung comfortably. To do this, you can use wire or some kind of ropes or ribbons. And to determine relative humidity, dew point and temperature, we suggest buying a thermohygrometer.

Well, let your imagination run wild here! Insert light wildflowers into vases, put photos on sticks, sprinkle coffee beans or beads... Not only small, but also large flowers will look original and beautiful in a similar vase made from a light bulb (the main thing is to make the stem shorter).

There was an old vase in the closet for ten years, which I almost never used for its intended purpose. I decided to give her one more chance. I made a hole for the wire using an engraving machine. But it is quite possible to drill a hole using a special glass drill. The diameter should be made slightly larger than the wire. After the hole is ready, it is necessary to sand the hole a little, otherwise the wire may quickly become unusable when using the lamp.

My husband pulled the wire through the hole and the neck of the vase using a thread.

To fix the wire, he used glue - cold welding “Diamond”.

I cut out a circle from hard flexible plastic and inserted a bent wire into the middle of it, which will support the plastic inside the vase. The circle was slightly bent and placed inside the vase. Second bent end hung the wire on an iron stick placed on the neck of the vase.

Now you can safely use cold welding- a plastic circle will prevent it from falling inside the vase.
After the welding has completely hardened, you can do the electrical work. This was also my husband's job.

Meanwhile, I made a lampshade from threads and PVA glue. You can see how to do this. For the frame, I took a plastic bucket, which you can buy in a store, and covered it with tangled threads of blue tones.

I painted the vase with the finished light bulb socket white acrylic paint using a piece of foam rubber. Then I painted it with blue acrylic paint.
