Greenhouse made from bottles. Making greenhouses from polyethylene bottles. Greenhouse made of plastic bottle plates

Food-grade plastic, used to make bottles in which we buy water and other drinks, will be an excellent material for covering a greenhouse. It is especially pleasant that such a design will require virtually no financial costs.

We will provide you interesting information on the topic of greenhouse from plastic bottles: how to make it, where to place it, what to cover the roof with, what advantages the design has, how long it will last.

Advantages of plastic bottles as a building material

Greenpeace is sounding the alarm, housing and communal services do not know how to recycle plastic containers - and all this while bottle plastic is an excellent material for your own property.

Among the advantages of using it as a covering for a greenhouse of any size are the following:

  • saving– to build a greenhouse from plastic bottles with your own hands, you just need to assemble the container itself, as well as prepare a frame, for example, from wooden beams;
  • high heat retention rates- at correct device buildings even in early spring No heating is required to grow seedlings (depending on the region, of course);
  • strength– plastic, unlike glass or film, is almost impossible to tear, pierce or break;
  • resistance to any weather conditions– the material is not afraid of wind, sun, rain, hail, or snowfall;
  • durability– a greenhouse made of plastic bottles, if properly constructed, can last up to 10 years;
  • light weight– the construction of the structure does not require the construction of a foundation, and the strength of the frame does not matter, as, for example, in the case of using glass;
  • good throughput, which does not decrease under prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

Construction methods

A do-it-yourself greenhouse from plastic bottles can be built in different ways. The amount of containers for each individual case is individual and determined empirically. As a rule, it takes 400-600 bottles to build a small greenhouse.

Helpful advice!
Choose containers of the same capacity and shape - transparent bottles with a volume of 1.5 liters are best suited for this.

Construction from whole plastic bottles

This construction method is most common among gardeners and gardeners.

Instructions on how to build a greenhouse from plastic bottles, in this case, include several steps:

  • collect the container, wash it, remove paper stickers with a soap solution;
  • cut the bottom so that the cut falls at the beginning of the rounding, that is, its diameter is slightly smaller than the widest point of the bottle;
  • put the bottles on top of each other, applying maximum pressure for structural strength - in this case you should get some kind of pipes along the height of the greenhouse;
  • install - you can use wooden blocks, metal slats or plastic;

  • on a frame with internal and outside stretch the galvanized wire with an approximate “step” of 15-20 cm (you can also use nylon thread or fishing line, but the service life of these materials is much shorter - up to 5 years);
  • install homemade pipes as tightly as possible to each other - you can use tape for fixation.

Helpful advice!
If you are making a greenhouse specifically for growing tomatoes, you can use transparent and dark containers.
This solution will provide the most balanced lighting for seedlings.

There are several ways to make a greenhouse from plastic bottles, but this design is considered the warmest, which is explained by the presence of air space in the container. Many gardeners use greenhouses even in early spring, without using any additional heating. In winter, the greenhouse does not need to be disassembled - robust design will withstand strong winds and snowfalls.

The structure will be stronger if the pipes made are strung on wooden beams. The only drawback such a solution is a reduction in throughput.

If you place pipes in frames, you get an excellent portable greenhouse from a plastic bottle. This design will be practically indispensable in your household during severe frosts.

Greenhouse made of plates

This method is suitable for those for whom the price of modern polycarbonate is high, but do not want to waste money on a film that will last a maximum of 1-2 years.

So, to create a durable food-grade plastic coating you will need to do the following:

  • cut off the bottom and neck of the bottle, and cut the rest in half;
  • in order for both blanks to straighten, iron them through a thick sheet of paper or hold them under pressure for several days;
  • Sew the resulting parts with an overlapping awl;
  • Attach sheets of plastic blanks directly to the frame of the greenhouse made of slats using self-tapping screws or nails.

Making a roof

Often gardeners and gardeners have a question than the methods described above. The fact is that the container, despite its good thermal insulation qualities, will not be able to protect plants from precipitation.

There are several options for resolving this issue. You can use polycarbonate sheet, film or glass. Also, as an alternative, it is possible to cover the structure of bottles with polyethylene.

In turn, we suggest you make “tiles” from food-grade plastic:

  • transparent 2-liter bottles must be thoroughly washed and the label removed;
  • then cut off the bottom and neck of the container, and cut the remaining part along the fold lines into four parts;
  • Use a furniture gun to fasten the pieces together with an overlap - the result should be an element in the form of a wave;
  • Having calculated the roof covering area, make a canvas from similar blanks.

Conclusion

Greenhouse made from plastic bottles – perfect solution for the amateur gardener. It is worth noting that it is better to assemble containers in advance, since erecting a structure of standard average sizes may require up to 2000 units. The process of constructing a greenhouse is quite labor-intensive, but if you show diligence and diligence, you yourself will be surprised at the result. We wish you success and provide interesting information on this topic, which is contained in the video in this article.

Many people consider plastic bottles to be ordinary garbage. However, resourceful summer residents can find a use for everything. From empty plastic bottles you can make both a small greenhouse for growing seedlings and a fairly spacious greenhouse.

There are several options for installing a greenhouse made of plastic bottles.

Advantages of a greenhouse made from plastic bottles

A greenhouse made from bottles has several advantages over greenhouses made from other materials. The most significant advantage is savings Money. When building a greenhouse from plastic bottles, you will only have to spend money on timber, the size of which depends on the size of the future building, and nails. And, of course, collect a certain number of bottles. For such a medium-sized greenhouse you will need approximately 400-600 empty plastic bottles.

Also important advantages Greenhouses made from plastic bottles are characterized by their strength and durability. After all, plastic wears out approximately 30 times slower than the usual film that is used to cover a greenhouse.
A greenhouse made from bottles retains heat well and works on the principle of a thermos.

In addition, structures made from plastic bottles are lightweight and very easy to assemble, dismantle and replace deformed areas. In addition, such a greenhouse looks quite interesting.

DIY greenhouse made from plastic bottles

Even a schoolchild can build a greenhouse out of bottles. The main thing is to understand the construction technology and develop correct algorithm actions. If several people will be involved in the construction of the greenhouse, then all construction work can be completed during the day.

To assemble and install the frame of the future greenhouse and install walls from plastic bottles, you will need: a cutter, a hammer, a hacksaw, an awl, nylon thread, a level, a pencil, nails, and a tape measure. But the main materials for construction are empty plastic bottles, mounting strips and wooden construction beams.

The location of the greenhouse is also important. It is best if it is located on the south side of any other outbuildings. This way the greenhouse will be protected from cold winds and provided with sunlight.

To build a greenhouse from plastic bottles, it is not at all necessary to make a special foundation. The greenhouse can be installed on thick beams, logs or cinder blocks. Thus, the building will be protected from excess moisture.

To build a greenhouse frame, you need to install a base of wooden blocks and load-bearing vertical beams and assemble a frame for the future roof. Then tie the frame in the middle with timber at a height of approximately 1.5 meters. This will make the structure more stable. When the frame is completely ready, you can begin building walls from plastic bottles.

To correctly assemble the entire structure, you need to follow a few simple rules:

In order to make it convenient to put one bottle on another, their bottoms must first be cut using a cutter.
For the first row you will need plastic bottles with the bottom, but the top part cut off. The bottom is necessary to screw or nail the first row of bottles to the wooden frame.
Next, you should collect columns from cut bottles. It is better not to save material and make the columns of bottles denser.
In order for the columns to be more stable, it is necessary to tighten the thread for additional fixation or evenly nail several mounting rails to the frame.

Using the same method, you can build a greenhouse roof. In this case, columns from bottles need to be made in advance, and more frequent lathing should be done. For greater tightness, the roof should be tied with tape or covered with oilcloth on top.

Greenhouse made of plastic bottle plates

A greenhouse can also be built not just from individual plastic bottles, but from plates. To make the plates, you need to cut off both the top and bottom parts of the bottles, cut the remaining part lengthwise and straighten it. This way you will get a fairly strong plastic rectangle.

The cost of a finished greenhouse and its construction from expensive materials is beyond the means of most summer residents. Therefore, many dare to experiment and take available materials as a basis. Those who decided to bring to life the idea of how to make a greenhouse from bottles did not go wrong. This design has many advantages and requires a minimum of cheap materials. With hardworking helpers, it can be built in a few days.

What is attractive about a bottle greenhouse?

Plastic and glass bottles are usually thrown into landfills. To those who have summer cottages, do not rush to say goodbye to this garbage. After all, from transparent containers, even without experience in construction, you can make a strong and reliable greenhouse that is not afraid of sinister weather, moisture, insect pests.

You can build a greenhouse from plastic bottles in a few days

A greenhouse made from ordinary plastic bottles has the following advantages:

  • the structure will not be destroyed by wind, snow, and is not afraid of external damage;
  • plastic – durable material, the building will last for more than one year, and in case of damage individual elements, parts can be replaced without complete dismantling;
  • heated by the sun, can retain heat inside for a long time due to the fact that inside each bottle there will be warm air;
  • you will have to allocate a little money to purchase materials, and if you wish, you can collect empty containers by walking around your neighbors;
  • the assembly principle is simple, similar to a children's construction set;
  • for construction you do not need to make a strong foundation.

Another interesting and a budget option construction good greenhouse– make the walls using ordinary glass bottles, and cover the roof with polycarbonate sheets. For such a greenhouse you will have to make a reliable, powerful foundation, glass containers you will need a lot (about 150 pieces per square meter).

It will be warmer in a greenhouse made of glass bottles

The design will turn out to be massive and heavy, but beautiful and original if you arrange colorful bottles with ornaments. In such a structure there is also no need to think through an additional heating system in autumn and winter. Thanks to the ability of bottles to retain heat inside themselves, a positive temperature in the room is guaranteed.

Detailed instructions for building a greenhouse from bottles

Those who think that it is enough to understand the principle of folding bottles and connecting elements together in order to begin construction work are mistaken. At first glance, there are no difficulties in how to make a greenhouse from plastic bottles. In fact, the construction of even a basic greenhouse from this material has its own subtleties and secrets, and also requires phased implementation certain works.

Drawing up a drawing and preparing the site

Any construction always begins with planning, site preparation and drawing up a visual drawing. At this stage, it is necessary to clearly determine where exactly the greenhouse will be installed on the site. Construction with walls made of plastic containers It is better to place it in a well-lit place on the south or southwest side. Although such a greenhouse is stable, it is recommended to build it in places where there is no draft and there is no strong gusty wind.

Digging the wooden base for the greenhouse into the ground

When you have decided on the location, you need to draw up a drawing. It is easier to build a rectangular structure. Having drawn the project, indicate the length (at least 1.5 m), width (1.5 - 2 m) and height (from 2 m), and also think about how often the load-bearing ones will be installed, where the doors will be attached, and what the roof will be like. Having a clear picture with dimensions, you can move on to the next stage of construction.

Preparatory work and collection of materials

It is necessary to clear the soil and prepare the site. If a place is used on the site where there was old building, should be removed upper layer soil, cultivate the land. Before starting construction, collect the necessary materials. Purchase timber (it is used for the frame) and mounting rail. You will also need:

  • hacksaw or scissors;
  • awl;
  • nails with a hammer;
  • nylon thread;
  • level and roulette.

Assemble for walls required quantity empty plastic bottles of the same shape and volume (1.5-2 liters are better), which must be removed from the stickers and washed and dried. It should be taken into account that white transparent containers ideally transmit the light of the sun, it is better to make walls from them, dark ones are suitable for making corner elements or ornaments for beauty.

How to build a frame for a greenhouse from plastic containers

It is easier to build a house-shaped greenhouse with rectangular walls

It is not difficult to build a frame with helpers, if all dimensions were observed during planning and preparation of the timber. The parts are connected with an overlap or in a “paw”, fastened with self-tapping screws. Assemble the frame as follows:

  1. A massive foundation is not needed; it is enough to dig thick beams (cinder blocks) treated with antiseptic agents into the ground around the perimeter. For additional strength, this base is filled with cement.
  2. To rectangular wooden base attach load-bearing beams, perform the top and bottom strapping. It is recommended to place vertical beams at a distance of at least 1 meter.
  3. Around frame beams stretch several rows (at a distance of 30-40 cm from each other) of nylon thread so that a bottle post can be inserted between it.
  4. Build a roof frame and reinforce it with timber for stability.

Once the frame is ready, you can move on to the most important stage of construction - building the walls of the greenhouse from plastic bottles.

Instructions for building walls

Clean plastic containers must be prepared before assembly. Cutting down sharp knife the bottom along the lower belt (it is found on all plastic bottles) so that the two parts can be hermetically connected, inserted into each other, and remove the caps. String the prepared plastic cylinders to form a long pipe corresponding required height. It is important to press the bottles well.

Place the rows of bottles tightly so that there are no gaps

For strength, it is recommended to additionally wrap the constituent parts of the wall with tape. The outer bottles are attached with self-tapping screws or nails to the frame posts. The use of staples is not recommended. The erected wall is additionally strengthened horizontally in several places (at a distance of 30 - 40 cm) with slats.

You can carry out the assembly on the frame itself or separately on the site, stringing the container onto a metal, wooden strip or durable plastic rod. The assembled rows of plastic are often installed vertically on the frame, but they can be laid out horizontally. Doors are made in the same way.

Construction of a reliable roof

The roof is made from ready-made, pre-assembled columns. Better plastic parts string on a rail or a thick rod. The assembly has its own subtleties. It is important that it turns out strong and durable. After all, in winter period There will be snow on the surface, the weight of which must be supported by the roof.

Triangular bottle roof will withstand heavy snow in winter

The work is carried out according to the following scheme.

  1. Make rows 30-40 cm long from bottle blanks, stringing them onto slats.
  2. To lighten the weight of the greenhouse, as a sheathing (it needs to be done more often if using wooden slats) you can use metal construction mesh.
  3. Nail the posts with plastic cylinders with nails or self-tapping screws to wooden parts roofs.
  4. Finished item To increase strength, wrap with tape.
  5. Install on the greenhouse. To prevent moisture in the room, it is recommended to cover the roof with polyethylene, securing it with staples or nails to the frame beams.

An alternative option for building a greenhouse from plastic containers

Summer residents have come up with another option on how to make a greenhouse from plastic bottles - videos, comments and advice from craftsmen will help those who decide to repeat their creation in their garden. The main advantage of such a building is that they are grown in greenhouse conditions plants receive enough light, do not freeze, and are not afraid of drafts.

For construction you will need plates cut from used containers.

To implement this alternative option A greenhouse will take much more time and basic material than a greenhouse made from solid bottles. To build a small and low greenhouse you will need about 5 thousand blanks. According to craftsmen, such a greenhouse is much better. The room will be warmer, brighter and more reliable.

The plates need to be overlapped

It is built as follows:

  1. Cut off the neck and bottom from a plastic 2-liter bottle, cut the cylinder to make a rectangular blank. To prevent it from curling into a ring, you need to iron the plastic with a warm iron or put the plate under a press.
  2. Use an awl to make holes in each rectangle around the perimeter. It is necessary to fasten with a strong thread, fishing line or wire (you can sew sewing machine) parts, laying them out overlapping. The result is a large plastic canvas, the size of which is equal to the width and height of the greenhouse wall.
  3. Apply the edge of the plastic sheet to the top of the frame and, securing it with a lath, nail it. After stretching, secure the remaining edges to form a wall. All sides of the greenhouse are done in the same way.
  4. Secure the walls crosswise with slats in several places for strength.
  5. Roof sheets are made and attached according to the same principle.

Reliable and original greenhouse made of glass bottles

A durable, warm, budget-friendly and incredibly beautiful greenhouse can be built from ordinary glass bottles. Such a building will last long years. It will not be possible to implement your plan in a few weeks - construction will progress slowly, but the end result is worth the hassle and time spent.

It's very warm in a glass bottle greenhouse

Preparation for construction work

Before you build a greenhouse from bottles, you will have to collect a lot of glass containers. Various cans or bottles will do, but the main thing is that they all have the same shape and preferably match in length. Be sure to remove the labels, wash the surface of any remaining glue, and dry it. During construction, close the necks with a stopper to prevent dirt from getting inside.

On initial stage You should immediately decide on the size and shape of the roof. If the roof is planned to be sloping rather than a house, one greenhouse wall is erected higher than the others.

Stages and nuances of construction

There are no difficulties in construction, but it is important to complete all stages in a certain sequence.

  1. The design will be heavy, so without monolithic foundation not enough. After installing the formwork, pour concrete and level the surface.
  2. Once the foundation has hardened, the frame can be erected. It is made of brick, wood or metal pipes. All support pillars should be erected at a distance of 1 meter from each other.
  3. Indicate which side the door will be on, mark, if provided, window openings, location of air vents.
  4. Place the bottles with the open neck inward in a checkerboard pattern on a cement-lime mortar, the consistency of which is similar to sour cream. It is important to wait a little after laying out the row until the mass takes hold and hardens a little.
  5. As you lay out the rows, simultaneously clean the glass surface from cement. Otherwise, when it hardens, it will be difficult to clean the bottoms to perfection; their transparency determines whether the greenhouse will be light and warm.
  6. When the walls are laid, wait until the cement hardens and only then work on the door, windows, and roof. It is best to cover a bottle greenhouse with polycarbonate sheets.

For construction you will need little money and a lot of bottles

By applying the advice in practice and adopting the experience of craftsmen summer residents, you can become the owner of a good and durable, warm and bright greenhouse by investing very little money. Plastic and glass bottles- an excellent material for construction. In a greenhouse built from them, plants will feel comfortable and will delight you with lush growth and a pleasant rich harvest. In greenhouses from bottles you can grow various crops: greens, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables.

First, design the shape of your greenhouse based on what kind of slats you have. We decided to go with a pitched roof because we only needed one gutter.

After which it was necessary to arrange the posts so as to form a frame. And then stretch the wire around them in three rows, so that you can then place bottles between them, building walls between the slats from them. The top bottle in each column should be whole, uncut, and the bottom one should be slightly recessed into the ground. This way you can achieve some freedom of action, adjusting the dimensions in the process.

Finally, add wire ties to tighten the support wire on our rows of bottles. The very last thing that needed to be done was the roof and the doorway, the door to which was made according to the same principle as the walls.

The result of titanic work has been pleasing its creator for several years now.

This technique does not describe the installation of the roof, entrance group and so on, but we think that there is a patented method for constructing such structures, so if you want to find out everything in more detail and build the same greenhouse, you need to clarify this point. Undoubtedly, the resulting savings compensate for any additional labor costs.

For a complete list of all garden crafts that you can make your own from plastic bottles, see.

We love gardening; this tradition has long-standing national roots. But our climate is harsh, and often the cold and short summer is not enough for the plantings to bloom and bear fruit. Therefore, we definitely need greenhouses for normal farming. You can also buy ready-made greenhouses. They are very different and sometimes very beautiful, made of metal, wood and plastic; covered with glass, film, plastic. But they are quite expensive, and it is often difficult to choose the most suitable greenhouse for your needs. Therefore, you can easily and quickly make a good greenhouse, simple in design, and here many possibilities open up: for example, move away from the usual plastics and pipes and build a greenhouse from completely waste material, which is in abundance everywhere. From plastic bottles.

Strange choice? Not at all

Plastic bottles are made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is absolutely neutral and suitable for drinking liquids.

Plastic bottles are an inexhaustible storehouse for various crafts; single bottles are used as flower pots and tiny “greenhouses” for seedlings. Drainpipes are made from a large number of them. And sometimes it’s serious engineering structure: deep drainage on the site. Our “Kulibins” went further and came up with a new use for bottles: fences and greenhouses. Moreover, everyone has a lot of empty bottles, and you can always ask friends and neighbors to throw more.

Mini-greenhouses made from plastic bottles Drip irrigation using plastic bottles Growing flowers using plastic bottles Crafts from bottles - desk lamp Flowerpot made from a bottle and several bottle bases Bottle drainpipes The trench with bottles is prepared for filling with drainage material - there will be deep drainage of the area

A greenhouse made from bottles is durable, strong, easy to assemble, does not require maintenance, is incredibly cheap, and its components are easy to replace. And most importantly, it is much warmer than its “competitors”. Because everyone knows from school course physics: air - best heat insulator, and the bottles create a thermos effect.

There is simply no warmer greenhouse like this. Experienced gardeners They assure: for early sowing and growing seedlings while still in the cold, there is no need to additionally heat the greenhouse from bottles from the inside.

Now let’s decide what we should call the future structure.

Greenhouse or greenhouse?

There is still confusion both in everyday life and in the press; they are too similar in design and tasks. Both here and there - a frame base and a coating that transmits ultraviolet radiation and does not allow cold to pass through.

A greenhouse is a protection for semicircular beds, often a very long structure, and always low. Made from metal and plastic pipes or wooden slats. But often equal lengths of plastic pipes or metal fittings are simply stuck into the ground. The greenhouse is usually covered with a light film, which warm weather or simply folds back to care for plants.

Greenhouse - more capital and tall building. There you can enter full height. The greenhouse frame is made of wood, metal pipes, metal corners, plastic pipes of various compositions and qualities and, finally, the entire greenhouse can be made from ready-made aluminum double-glazed windows such as window ones. To protect from rain and snow, cold and wind, the frame is covered with a sleeve plastic film, reinforced with polyethylene film, bubble film, nonwoven materials, cellular polycarbonate and even glass.

Having weighed everything, we will still call our structure a “greenhouse”, despite the capital frame.

Plastic bottles as a material: advantages and disadvantages

Advantages:

  • durability: it is clear that plastic bottles do not wear out, fungus does not grow on them, and if a defect occurs, it is enough to just replace a bottle or two;
  • availability: a greenhouse made from plastic bottles is cheaper than all other possible materials;
  • ease and simplicity of making a greenhouse from bottles: you don’t need to be a super ace in construction for this;
  • the ability to make any greenhouse design from bottles: a house, a lean-to, an arched structure, and so on;
  • ease of installing a greenhouse anywhere in the garden and moving it to this place without disassembling its components;
  • versatility: a bottle greenhouse is suitable for a variety of tasks, from growing seedlings to maintaining heat-loving plants in the cold season;
  • temperature stability (bottles can withstand significant temperature changes from -50 to +130°C and do not heat up);
  • environmental friendliness: the bottle material is chemically neutral and harmless to humans, earth and plants;
  • beauty: you can choose the color of the bottles so that the greenhouse becomes a real work of art.

There are only two disadvantages:

  • it is quite difficult to collect the required number (minimum 300–400) bottles for a greenhouse;
  • It’s quite difficult to find the time to painstakingly assemble a greenhouse from bottles.

Preparation for construction in general

First of all, we need to understand what size greenhouse we need. Considering the complexity of collecting components, there is no need to make it too large.

Let our design be on wooden base, in the form of the most primitive small house. We assume the dimensions of the base are 2x3 meters, the height of the greenhouse walls is 2 meters, the height of the ridge is 1 meter.

We draw the drawing by hand, set the dimensions and estimate how much timber, slats, screws and corners we need to purchase.

Drawing of a greenhouse, sketched in haste

For the frame we will need a thin pine beam 40x40x6000 mm.

To connect it into the structure - metal corners.

To connect bottles into pipes - thin wooden slats 20x20x3000 mm.

To fix the parallelism of the walls, use three rolls of thick fishing line.

To cover the roof - a piece of hose film.

When we calculate the required amount of materials, we will be pleasantly surprised at how cheap our project is. It’s funny, but the most expensive thing is not even the timber, but the strip needed to be threaded into the bottle “pipes” to create stiffening ribs. in fact, you can do without slats, or thread a wire or wire into the “pipes”. And the bottles will not cost anything at all - except for the labor of collecting enough of them.

Building a greenhouse with your own hands

  1. You need to choose a convenient place for installation - level, sunny, with good access to water, so that the greenhouse fits into your garden design.

    Such a greenhouse has a large windage, so you need to think about it not being exposed to strong wind pressure. There are some rules, but in practice it is extremely difficult to follow them all.

  2. We level the selected place. If planting is planned directly into the ground, without using pots and tubs, then add peat and fertile soil.
  3. We prepare the bottles: we cut off the bottoms with a shoe knife and insert them into one another so that we get sections of “pipes” 2 meters long - for the height of the walls, 1.4 meters long - for the length of the roof slope and a certain amount of variable length to create gables . It is important to insert the bottles tightly into each other so that the pipe is strong.
  4. We thread a strip into each “pipe” so that the strip protrudes about three centimeters on each side.
  5. We cut the boards into pieces of the required length according to the drawing.
  6. We process them antiseptic impregnation, let it dry and paint. Let it dry.
  7. We assemble the base of the greenhouse using screws and corners. It is better to place posts made of cinder blocks or bricks under the corners so that the wood does not rot.
  8. On the finished base we mount the side supports “in a paw”, on the long sides of the greenhouse we place another support; we perform the strapping from above. Don't forget about the design of the doorway.
  9. We stretch several rows of fishing line parallel to the ground on both sides around the supports, in increments of 40–50 centimeters, so that between them there is then a “pipe” of bottles.
  10. We assemble the “pipes” on the frame, installing them vertically (although you can do this horizontally), fasten the slats protruding from the top and bottom with self-tapping screws to the base and top harness frame.
  11. We fix everything additionally with horizontal strips of tape on both sides.
  12. We fix everything additionally with horizontal slats with a step between them of about half a meter.
  13. We assemble the roof frame on the ground.
  14. We assemble a system of “pipes” similar to the walls on the roof frame.
  15. We assemble the gables and also equip them with bottle structures.
  16. We fix it with horizontal strips of tape on both sides.
  17. We fix it with horizontal slats with a step between them of about half a meter.
  18. Raise the roof to the top of the structure.
  19. Cover it with film with overhangs. We fix the film with a stapler.
  20. We use the same principle to make a door.
  21. The greenhouse is ready.
