Standard sizes of kitchen furniture. Standard height and depth of kitchen cabinets. Placement of functional areas

Hello dear friends.

Today we will look at one very interesting and necessary point for designing kitchen sets.

Kitchen units (both upper and lower) are the starting point in creating a project.

It is from them that the calculation of the module sizes begins (by the way, the installation of the headset also begins from them).

As a manufacturer, we are not limited by any sizes individual elements assemblies, we are not limited by any cabinet width or height. Our products are strictly individual. When drawing up proposals, our main goal is to concretize the client’s idea and our proposal. We will always prepare additional offers for you, which we can combine and customize to maximize your wishes and wishes.

Corner cabinet: two options

Optional graphic design is always an indicative price calculator. Another important chapter on our kitchen sets is the color case or if you want kitchen design. Our kitchen fronts are supplied in so-called “foil” designs. This combination of materials is directly determined for its use in the kitchen. It has excellent resistance to all phenomena commonly encountered in the kitchen. Is it steam, moisture, grease, sunlight etc. We can always guarantee long-term stability of shape and shade.

And in order to freely navigate when designing (and simply to be able to determine the composition of the kitchen “by eye”, which is important for those who make money making furniture), you need to understand at least the approximate dimensions of the upper and lower corner modules in different configurations.

This is like a kind of multiplication table (in order not to calculate everything from scratch, you need to immediately know what dimensions (plus or minus) this or that corner module should have).

This is the main benefit of laminated fronts rather than using solid or laminated doors. Currently we can offer you 60 types. Main offer door forms consists of three options: a smooth door - only with machined edges, a soft door - a simple groove, and the third option - deep deep milling. From point of view color range, we now offer about 60 door decorations. In addition to choosing the shape and decor of the kitchen front surfaces, we also offer various options for finishing the door surface.

So let's start with the basics of any corner kitchen- from the lower corner modules.

I would like to remind you that, as a rule, corner modules contain sinks, therefore, in such cases, you need to understand the dimensions of the sinks to ensure that their sizes correspond to the dimensions of these modules.

In most cases, the lower corners are straight (90 degree joint) or trapezoidal (45 degree joint).

We can offer a classic matt finish, we also supply a glossy finish and patina or what is called a high matt. Of course, choosing a tailgate is, of course, an issue. Thanks to this, he can always offer a colorful compact kitchen.

Manufacturing requirements

We can paint the body color on the back of the door. The main feature of our company is the absolute variability of various combinations of designs. We can create any decor for any door shape in combination with the surface you choose. The front part of our kitchens comes from the production of a leading Czech company with which we have been cooperating for over 10 years.

Both have their own characteristics, which we will consider separately.

So, let's start in order:

Dimensions of the bottom corner 90 degrees

They can represent either the junction of two boxes (through the blank wall of one of them), or two door structure(the so-called “”), the basis of which will be the common horizon.

The depth of the wings (table tops) joining each other can also be different. For example, most often countertops are joined with a depth of 600 and 420 (mm), 600 and 600 (mm).

To get the full range color options door faces and shapes click the link above. However, the design of your new kitchen is determined by more than just the door. An important element when selecting an embodiment, the body color is. We currently offer identical body designs for all major front and rear door trims. We are also ready to offer you a wide collection of desktop decorations. We use high quality post-forming work surfaces.

The appearance of the kitchen is determined by other details such as handles, which we offer in various materials and sizes. Of course, there is a selection of glass door fillers and other elements that will create the perfect whole for you. Our offer also includes a selection of drawings for drawers, which we also offer in top structure with anodized side walls, a full range of drawers with a matte finish with additional accessories.

But we will consider the general option when the depth of both tabletops is standard (equal to 600 millimeters).

Angle dimensions, in in this case, determine the dimensions of adjacent (at the corner) facades.

So, in the standard version (when the depth of the box is 460mm, the distance from it to the wall is 100mm), let’s take, for example, facades with a width of 400mm.

Then, the size of the corner (meaning the size from the corner of the room to the edges of the interconnected boxes) will be equal to:

Standard sizes for kitchen

Demanding clients will be satisfied with a wide range various options pull-out baskets and complete programs for indoor installation kitchen cabinets. The portfolio of services offered by our kitchens is very wide. In addition to the above graphic designs, we also offer the creation of a so-called installation plan. This involves specific planning of the location of wiring, water and waste, gas or, for example, a specific outlet location on the hood. Of course, we completely assemble the client’s kitchen.

100+460+400=960 (mm)

The dimensions of the boxes themselves will be 860mm.

Of course, this is a rough calculation that does not take into account, for example, the thickness of a blank wall, the width of a false facade, and so on. That is, 960mm is the average size.

The corner in question contains quite a lot of internal (hidden) space into which retractable fittings can be built, thus making rational use of this space.

In addition to kitchen cabinets as furniture, we also offer full delivery, including accessories. Of course, we consider additional kitchen equipment such as waste baskets, sinks, lighting, multifunctional column, etc. we can say that we offer a turnkey kitchen.

We also offer a wide range of built-in appliances on which we offer significant discounts. Thanks to this, our offer to the client will always be as good as possible. However, among the advantages of our company are not only almost endless variability and a wide range of services. Manufacturing quality is always important for your future kitchen. We see this as one of the strongest aspects of our offering. When cutting individual parts we use a saw large area, which is fully automated, which guarantees high-quality processing individual parts.

Now let's consider next option lower kitchen corner.

Trapezoidal kitchen corner

Its dimensions also directly depend on the facade and depth of the countertop.

Let us consider, as in the first case, standard option tabletops and boxes, plus a façade, 400mm wide.

We have been manufacturing kitchens for over 10 years and have been able to satisfy the wishes and expectations of several hundred satisfied customers. We firmly believe that our offer is interesting and you will visit our kitchen studios in Třebíč and Trnava, near Třebíč. Here our staff will be happy to provide you with more detailed information and prepare a design of a kitchen set “tailored” for you.

New kitchens pay for time and care. If you build it well, it will serve you well, providing comfort and security for many years, which is most appropriate when investing in this important part of your family. So, what are the rules for organizing a kitchen?

In this case, the design size from the corner of the room to the edge of the module will be 840 mm (the size of the module itself is 740 mm).

This version of the modules is very comprehensive. Of all the kitchen corners, the trapezoidal one is the most spacious.

Sometimes, in such corners, they are planned drawers and even built-in ovens.

In order for the kitchen to serve for a long time and well, it is necessary not only to choose quality materials, equipment or appliances, but above all, plan well. The kitchen should be convenient to have everything at hand and important details, to make it usable, practical, which is a well-used storage space, but it must also provide enough space for your movement and, finally, respect the principles of safety.

The main thing that determines how a kitchen will look is your needs and wishes, but in practice the key word is the nature of the space: size, articulation, but also, for example, the position of windows or heaters, redevelopment often decides to connect to water and waste, In According to these facts you will choose the shape of the kitchen.

There is probably no other room in the house so rich in household appliances, electrical appliances, various storage systems, like a kitchen. For convenience and the possibility of embedding, all equipment is made according to certain dimensions, corresponding to ergonometric parameters and practical requirements. Standards kitchen furniture make it easier to design a new headset and help avoid mistakes when planning your workspace.

Excellent kitchen service will not only provide good materials, equipment or machinery, but also good planning. But the kitchen alphabet doesn't end there. As with clothing, this also means creating space-saving solutions for the lavish, where you don't have to limit yourself with too much space. Separate kitchen areas must be connected to facilitate the use of the kitchen.

Individual kitchen Top line - Glossy. Finishing the front queues in red high gloss, table top and sides in pine bonnet, shelf in curry. This is not just an emergency solution for small rooms. In practice, such a kitchen usually consists of two or three simple sets.

What sizes are kitchen cabinets available?

There is a certain pattern in calculating lengths, heights, widths, dimensions in furniture production. Observers have probably already noticed the connection to the numbers 16 and 32. To the latter, even to a greater extent: let's start with the fact that on a filler (drilling) machine, the distance between the centers of adjacent spindles is exactly 32 mm. The furniture maker constantly encounters numbers that are multiples of 32: when marking and installing guides, hinges, handles (the base of the handles, that is, the distance between the screws can be 32, 64, 96, 128, ... 256, etc.), other fittings, including lifting mechanisms And various systems storage This explains the generally accepted standards of kitchen furniture used to equip boxes, drawers of components, storage systems, and various mechanisms.
Coincidence or not, but for the dimensions of cabinets and facades, the height standards for kitchen furniture are also multiples of 16 mm. The base value is taken to be a 720 mm module. Taking into account technological gap, For standard facades height is 716 mm. Manufacturers of ready-made kitchen facades offer volumetric lines for modules:

One or two of them have warehouses, a center for washing and cooking, the next set contains tall cabinets and, for example, a refrigerator or the above oven. Two simple kitchens working side by side is usually called a two-piece kitchen. Both parts do not have to be directed along the walls; one of them, the lower one, can form an optical rod, for example, between the living room and the kitchen, or between the dining room and the kitchen, and possibly equipped with a bar counter.

Place the line in a space so that you can access it from all sides. Now the kitchen cabinet is gone upper cabinets. It just depends on your needs and the number of things you need to store. Modern systems storage, hanging programs and more make the most of all space. There should be no cabinets in the upper parts of the kitchen, or just a few; air solutions are open cabinets or simple shelves.

  • Height 720 and width 150, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 mm. Often there are sizes that are multiples of 50: 250, 350, 450 mm. Narrow modules (150 and 200) are designed for bottle holders.
  • Height 900-960 mm and width 300, 400, 500 mm.
  • Height 480, 600 mm and width 500, 600 mm.
  • For boxes with heights of 120, 140, 180, 300, 360 mm and widths of 300-800 mm.

The typical standards of kitchen furniture, the dimensions of cabinets and tables-cabinets are presented more clearly in the drawing.

If you are looking to create a bespoke kitchen, true professionals will make the most of the space and ensure maximum ease of use. The eyelet is typically the solution for generous spaces, and one of the three sides of the line is used as a divider between the kitchen and the remaining living space. She offers more more space for storage, as well as work and storage space, and the kitchen area, if necessary, is interesting. Arched kitchens bring original look. However, its production is more expensive.

This requires professional design that doesn't waste space simply to appeal to the eye. The comfortable design finally includes an island kitchen. There will be on the island extra bed for storage, a center for food preparation and washing, and can also be equipped with a bar if space allows.

Manufacturers of kitchen fronts often do not limit themselves to producing only the standard line. Doors can be made to order new kitchen of any size, without any standards - the only thing is that it will cost more and take longer to complete.

Kitchen furniture standards by height

The height of the lower modules should correspond to the height of the person - only then will it be comfortable to work at tables while standing, without experiencing a feeling of discomfort in the lumbar and cervical region. For the average height of a person, a certain standard for kitchen furniture was established, equal to 850 mm. This value is precisely formed by a module with a height of 720 mm, taking into account 100 mm legs and a tabletop 28-30 mm thick.
If the kitchen owners are taller than average, it is recommended to raise the level of the working surface to a height of 900-920 mm, due to higher legs (150 versus 100) and a thick tabletop (up to 48 mm or more).
But you shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that all floor Appliances manufactured for installation under the standard level of the bottom row kitchen set, 85 cm. In this case, with built-in appliances (oven, dishwasher and washing machine) it will be easier to play up the discrepancy in size.

For more complex kitchen types, you need to know that there is a certain distance between parts of the line, both for safe movement, for example to open cabinets and appliances, and for easy access to their contents. No doors in lower cabinets. Don't bend unnecessarily and let the kitchen serve you. The kitchen is not only good, but also practical.

The space between the stove and the sink is very important. Here too, a well-placed tablet plate increases the preparation area. The function of the kitchen then rises and falls with the presence of basic appliances that allow the preparation of meals. Centers are created around these appliances, depending on the task they perform: a cooking center and a washing center. The first consists of hob and hoods, the second - a sink and dishwasher. The kitchen center should be positioned so that there is a handling area on both sides of the cooktop that can be used for storage or light preparation.

Kitchen furniture dimensions: depth standard

The working surface width in the standard version is 600 mm. The edge of the tabletop is rounded or decoratively designed, and on the reverse side it is equipped with a special drip eliminator that minimizes the ingress of moisture onto the facades. There must be an overhang at the front of the tabletop. It is about 3-5 cm from the box. At the back, the box is also not adjacent to the wall (with the exception of the end modules), because often various communications of water supply, drainage and power supply systems pass behind the tables. The width of the box in standard kitchen furniture is usually 50-55 cm.
Upper wall cabinets also come in a certain depth. Without taking into account the thickness of the facades, most often 30 cm, some manufacturers have 28 or 32 cm.

Height: what should it be

This area represents the main working space. Ensure continuity in each operation - food is rinsed in the sink, cut, peeled, peeled, and then shoveled into a pot on the cooktop. A free area of at least 40 cm should also be on the other side of the sink. Whether the washing center is on the left or right of the cooking area can control whether the majority of kitchen users are left- or right-handed; making it easier to move around the kitchen.

Kitchen design should also evolve from the user's character or health limitations! Comfortable for people with shorter heights work zone is about 82 centimeters from the floor, with a height of about 90 centimeters. The height of the pattern is related to the location of the upper cabinets.

  • It is not recommended to make kitchen cabinets according to the standard - the dryer or the selected lifting mechanism may not stand up.
  • Mounted modules are made wider than 32 cm, up to 40-45 cm. But here it’s worth thinking about everything carefully: work for work surface, being forced to step away due to the depth of wall cabinets can be very uncomfortable.
