Do-it-yourself garden swing (45 photos): choosing a location on the site, material and type of construction. Do-it-yourself children's swing for a summer house: photos, diagrams, useful tips How to make an outdoor swing

By purpose Garden swing akin to a bench - rest on fresh air in the shade of trees or a canopy. The design differs only in the “fulcrum” - the seat of the bench stands on legs, and the swing is suspended on a beam. Based on this, we will consider different variants DIY wooden swing.

Simple solutions: board and rope

The simplest option is two ropes and a small piece of board for one person. Since the load is relatively small, such a swing can even be hung on a strong branch of a large tree. The main thing is that the rope is thick enough and the stopper knot is securely tied.

The disadvantage of the first option is the unstable horizontal position of the seat. Two points of support are not enough for him, even if the rope is thick and the knot is large - one awkward movement and you can topple. Therefore, it is better when the seat is suspended from each corner of the board. You can choose thinner ropes, and to prevent the knot from coming undone, wrap it with construction tape on both sides.

Simple solutions: available materials

There is a separate direction for garden (and even home) furniture - the use of pallets. Of course, we are not talking about semi-handicraft pallets made of poorly processed boards with wane. In order to minimize surface finishing, you need to choose a Euro pallet (there are two marks on the bosses: EPAL and EUR). Making a swing is simple - sand the top boards and side elements of the structure, coat it with a primer, apply varnish or paint in two layers, and hang it on ropes.

Or you can use an old wooden half-chair.

For those who are not short of money and love comfort, we can advise you to saw off the legs of a wicker chair and hang it on ropes in the garden.

Swing sofas

Swing sofas have more complex design consisting of a seat, back and armrests. But here too there is different ways manufacturing.

For simple models It is enough to know basic carpentry techniques.

Swing with more complex design, require the skill of a carpenter.

Such sofas are hung on ropes or chains.

The capacity of this swing is designed for two or three, and in a rare garden there is a tree whose branch can withstand such a load. Therefore, to hang them, you need a beam with its own supporting structure.

Stationary supports for swings

The simplest support for a swing is two pillars dug into the ground, with a crossbar on top. And so that the pillars stand securely, they underground part needs to be concreted.

This design can be complicated by making a canopy or lattice over it like a pergola.

There are combined supports, when one end of the crossbar is attached to a tree, and the other to a triangular post.

But it is the stationary nature of the supports that is often considered a drawback of the swing. For example, they are not easy to move to another location when the layout of the site is changed.

Portable swing

Portable structures have two corner-shaped posts with an additional stiffening rib fixed in the middle or at the bottom of the supports. The choice of this form is explained simply - a triangle is considered the simplest rigid figure.

The material for making racks can be timber:

rounded log:

sanded dry “wild” logs and poles from own garden or nearby landing.

Swing with roof

The swing seating area in the open area can be protected from the sun. The simplest option is an awning in the form of a pitched roof. And if you choose waterproof fabric for the awning, it will also protect from rain.

Even better protection from precipitation gable roof made of lightweight roofing materials - corrugated polycarbonate:

or soft tiles.

In the second case, for a small slope angle, you don’t even have to make a ridge.

And next to the house (or dacha) in rustic style you can put a swing covered with a traditional roofing material Russian hut - dry reeds or straw. And so that it is not thick and does not leak, roll waterproofing is laid on the continuous sheathing.

Everyone wants to have a beautiful and comfortable place to relax. For many, the dacha becomes such a heavenly place. How to design a summer cottage so that it invariably gives you good mood? Let's go back to childhood for a moment. Remember how much pleasure you got from such a simple thing as a swing. They bring pleasure to both children and adults.

Making a swing for your dacha with your own hands is not that difficult. If you have at least some plumbing and installation skills, this task will not cause you much trouble.

The designs of swings are very diverse. Both may be present here budget options, concocted from the remains of construction, and real masterpieces of architecture.

Buy ready-made wooden swings for your dacha good quality By good prices It is possible in the company Kupistol.

Types of swings for the garden

  • swing-scales are children's swings for the garden. The principle of the device is a board with two seats in the middle metal pipe on two racks;
  • a simple swing on two ropes is the most simple design.. Sitting board suspended on two points;
  • swing-sofa on four ropes - the most common type country swing. They are a bench with a back, suspended from four corners.

Swings can also be divided into stationary and portable. In the second option, the swing can be put away indoors for the winter and moved around the site at your discretion.

Swings can also be divided into stationary and portable.

Material for production

The following materials are used for hanging components:

  • rope;
  • rope (rope for mountaineering);
  • steel rope;
  • chain with a small link;
  • steel rod;
  • steel pipe.

To make a seat you can use:

  • wood - boards, plywood;
  • wood placed on metal corners;
  • metal - rod, strips;
  • plastic – for child seats.

Swing supports

A simple swing can be hung almost anywhere. Most often, a strong branch is chosen. You can also fit a crossbar between two trees.

For a swing-sofa you will need strong supports. They can be:

  • wooden - two supports crosswise;
  • metal - two supports dug into the ground or square with a frame below;
  • metal - one pillar at a time, reinforced with a concrete screed.

How to make a simple swing at the dacha

The simplest option, which is perfect for children, is a simple wooden swing. If there are no suitable trees in the recreation area, you can build supports from four logs. We bury the ends of the support into the ground to a depth of about 70 cm, and connect them together at the top with a pin or bolts and washers. Please note that the angle between the posts must be quite large for the structure to be stable. The fifth log will serve as the top crossbar; we also fasten it with bolts. Using fasteners sold in any hardware store, attach a rope (strong cord, metal cable) to the crossbar. We make the seat from a board 30-50 mm thick and attach the cord using hooks. The cord can be tied or special clips can be used. You can hang such a swing on four ropes. In this case, the cable is threaded into a hook or ring at the top so that it does not slip; under the ring it is intercepted with a clamp.

You can hang such a swing on four ropes.

Wooden beam option

To make such a swing you will need a wooden beam and slats. Timber supports can withstand a load of about 150 kg

A wooden beam measuring 10x10 cm will increase the strength of the swing, but will make the structure heavier. It is better to use material with a section size of 5x10 cm.

We assemble a support from the beams, starting from the lower frame. We calculate its dimensions by adding 40-50 cm to the seat dimensions. They are attached to the frame vertical bars, forming a triangle. The structure is secured at the top by a vertical crossbar. All main fasteners are made using metal corners and self-tapping screws. For reliability, we attach another horizontal beam between the two posts on one side.

We make the bench, starting with the frame. Separately from the bars we make a frame for the back and for the seat. We screw the material from which we planned to make the swing onto the frames. It can be a board, slats or plywood.

The structure is secured at the top by a vertical crossbar.

We connect the finished back and seat together using metal corners. Before this, we determine a comfortable seat angle, on average it will be about 120 degrees.

We make the armrests for the bench from slats and fasten them with self-tapping screws.

We hang the swing from the top crossbar with a chain or metal cable. Metal brackets or hooks are used as fasteners; we use them to secure the chain on the back and on the seat of the swing.

The swing for the dacha is ready. The height of the swing is adjusted so that the feet of the person sitting on it reach the ground. This design can be moved quite easily. When standing on the ground, the lower beam must be treated with a protective solution.

Swing for a summer house made of metal

Such swings are more durable; depending on the design, they are designed for a weight of 300 kg or more, but they will be stationary. To make it you need to have the skill welding work. If desired, small swings of this type can be made mobile by expanding the distance between the lower ends of the supports and welding the base frame onto them.

For racks, choose one of the following materials:

  • steel pipe with a diameter of at least 5 cm;
  • metal channel or profile;
  • steel corner.

Using welding, we connect the pipe, starting from the base of the structure. We get a rectangle, place two triangles vertically on it, and connect it at the top with a horizontal crossbar. The cutting angle of the pipe at the upper junction of the sides of the triangle is 45 degrees. We weld hinges from the reinforcement onto the top crossbar.

For manufacturing, you must have welding skills.

The support design option is without the lower rectangle. In this case, the racks must be buried 1 meter into the ground; if the swing is planned to be heavy, make a concrete screed.

The base for the back and seat is made from metal corner. We make two rectangles out of it, connecting them to each other at an angle of at least 100 degrees.

We weld hinges in the corners for hanging. We coat all metal parts with primer and paint. oil paint. Place on the finished base wooden board, for convenience, the top can be sheathed with soft material or linoleum.

We cover all metal parts with a primer and paint with oil paint.

Choosing a place to install a swing requires special attention. There should be enough space when swinging the swing. It is better to choose a shaded place; if you plan to build a gazebo, a swing can be installed inside it. Wooden crafts must be protected from moisture and atmospheric precipitation. This can be done by treating the wood with special solutions, or if the design of the swing allows, painting it with paint.

A swing made by yourself will give your dacha a unique flavor and create an atmosphere of love and comfort. Enjoy your holiday!

To take a little break from everyday life in a quiet and cozy environment, and also to please your children, we suggest you build a swing with your own hands. After all, they not only play the role of an element of relaxation, but will also have a beneficial effect on family relationships.

Kinds

All swings can be classified according to the number of axes of rotation:

  • With one axis of rotation. Such swings are easy to make and are the most simple option. The movement of the seat occurs exclusively back and forth perpendicular to the beam on which the structure is placed. The minimum height from the ground to the seat in this case is 35 cm.

  • With several axes of rotation. IN in this case movement of the seat from side to side is added. This design is quite labor intensive. Suitable for older children. The distance from the seat to the ground is the same - 35 cm.

  • With one suspension point. The elements with the help of which the swing sets in motion - a chain or rope - converge at one point under the crossbar. In this case, the distance from the ground to the seat and from the seat to the structure supports will be 40 cm.

They are also divided according to purpose:

  • Mobile. This option play building It has a simple, lightweight design, making it easy to transport from one place to another. For example, in any place convenient for playing: even in the house, even outside in the shade.
  • Family. They have a huge heavy structure. At first glance, it looks like a bench without supporting elements with a large backrest. This swing can accommodate the whole family. A U-shaped structure is used to fasten it, and chains or cables with excellent strength are used as fixation. This type of play structure can be covered with an awning or a roof can be built over it - and you can ride even in the rain.
  • Children's. This category of swings is made in the form of boats or hanging chairs. Children will be able to ride them only when adults are nearby with seat belts fastened.

Distinction by type of structure:

  • Hammocks. Fastening occurs using a metal crossbar. This can, of course, be replaced with a strong lower tree branch, provided it is straight enough. The weight that the hammock structure can withstand is about two hundred kilograms. When using this design, you can feel the flight above the ground. This option is very popular among those who like to read books.
  • Singles. They have a variety of designs. No need to install an additional crossbar. The peculiarity is that it is easy to install, so this type of swing can be installed anywhere. Various materials are used for construction.
  • Sun loungers. This system accommodates three people: one child and two adults. The configuration of the swing is such that its fixation is necessary only at one point, so it can be installed in an apartment. The strength of such a product, despite its apparent lightness, is quite high due to the metal alloy.
  • Hanging. Constructive this option A swing is usually made from a seat and several ropes or strong chains. The cable elements are fastened on each side. The dimensions of such a product are varied: they depend on the materials used. The distinctive qualities of the design are strength, lightness and comfort.

Preparing drawings

After all the preparatory steps have been completed, it is necessary to put the idea on paper. To do this, you need to understand what kind of swing design we will make.

Having decided on the design and type of swing, mentally imagine them in reality, as if you were already swinging on them. Now is the time to draw them. After completing the sketch, we recommend searching for similar options on the Internet. After all, the drawings can be either unique or those on which work has already been completed. It’s better not to “reinvent the wheel”, but to take it already ready-made options- this way you will save time and effort.

Below are several options for drawings with which you can independently build a swing for children.

How to make an outdoor swing

Made of wood

To make wooden swinging elements you will need the following material:

  • Glued laminated timber 8x8 or 10x10 cm.
  • The plywood is thicker.
  • Solid wood.
  • Boards.
  • Chains, nuts, bolts, screws, self-tapping screws, studs.

Manufacturing process:

  • Using a drill, we dig 2 holes 1-1.5 deep and 20 cm in diameter.
  • We make pit cases from roofing felt.
  • We throw the remains of bricks or large stones into the holes and fill them with concrete.
  • As soon as the concrete has set, we install metal corners to install supports.
  • Aboveground component concrete foundations must be sanded and painted in a bright shade.
  • We tighten the base with screws (120 mm). To do this, first make a cut in the timber and install the studs. Using a hacksaw, we cut out the spacers and attach them to the structure with pins.
  • Using self-tapping screws, we make a seat from thick plywood. We coat it with varnish and attach it to the sides of the chain.
  • We make cuts in the pillars and install them on the mounted corners.
  • We hang the seat.

Made of metal

In order to lay the supports we will need:

  • 74th metal pipe – 2 pcs.
  • Bearings – 2 pcs.
  • 15th pipe – 1 pc.
  • Cement mortar.
  • Shovel.
  • Sand.
  • Welding machine.
  • Iron strip 7cm – 1 pc.

Support installation process:

  • In thick pipes we make special holes at the top. This is necessary so that the crossbar rests on them.
  • Prepare cement mortar.
  • We dig holes for supports.
  • We dig in the pillars and concrete them.
  • On the crossbar we install 2 bearings with limiters made of steel strip. They must be welded to limit side to side movement of the bearings.
  • We install the crossbar on the support. We also weld it.

Scroll necessary materials and tools for organizing seating for a new swing: Welding machine.

  • Hammer.
  • Screwdriver.
  • Angle Sander.
  • Pipe bender
  • Roulette.
  • 32nd pipe – 8m.
  • Chain – 6m.
  • Board 314x25 cm.
  • Steel strip 341 cm long.
  • Carabiner for chains – 2 pcs.
  • Bolts for carabiners – 2 pcs.
  • Coloring composition and water-repellent liquid.
  • Small screws - 42 pcs.

Seat manufacturing process:

  • Bend the pipes as necessary and cook using welding machine frame.
  • Processing wooden surface water-repellent liquid and paint with regular street paint.
  • We insert a wooden surface into the frame and secure it so that it holds tightly. This can be done using a metal strip, welding it in several places behind the seat: on the sides and horizontally along the seat.
  • We fasten the chains with carabiners with bolts.
  • Bearings and chains are also bolted together through iron strips specially bent with a hammer for this purpose. The size of the strips is about 20 cm.

Hanging

The configuration of such swings can be varied. Here are a few of them:

  • Bungee- the simplest design. It is made from a rope tied at both ends. There should be a strong crossbar on top, and a plank or round crossbar on the bottom.
  • Tire swing- an option similar to the previous one. Suspended both vertically and horizontally. From them you can create fancy shapes, which gives impetus to the creative process of creating a unique swing design.
  • Another option - a board or piece of tarpaulin is suspended from both sides of the edges symmetrically on two ropes or chains.
  • With wide seats. This option is usually secured using four ropes or chains. Instead of a wide seat, you can use old chairs without legs, pallets and even benches.
  • Soft swing. Their design resembles a hammock. They can also be made from a fabric base and wooden sticks or woven from rope.

One of the options hanging swing will be discussed in the next section of our article.

On a spring

Manufacturing process:

  • We buy a spring at the metal market truck with a height of at least 35 cm - this will be our spring.
  • We dig a hole for our spring.
  • We assemble the anchor: for this we need a cross (you can use reinforcement with a diameter of 20 mm) and a pipe 50-60 cm long. These two elements must be welded.
  • We fasten the anchor and spring using a boss.
  • We lower the anchor into the hole, level it and fill it with concrete.
  • We weld the boss to the spring. This is necessary to secure the swing body.
  • We take whatman paper and draw out the necessary configuration of the body - here everything depends on your imagination. Don't forget about the handles that your baby will hold on to while riding.
  • We transfer the design onto plywood and cut it out using a jigsaw.
  • We fasten the body to the boss using metal strips measuring 30x4 mm and bolts.
  • We paint the swing in bright colors.

We do it for home and apartment

Any homemade design, which is used at home by children, must meet certain safety requirements. This also applies to swings made with your own hands.

Requirements:

  • Material. It must be environmentally friendly. It is advisable to use natural materials. For example, wood is perfect. And in a home environment it is also a good microclimate, which will have a positive effect on the health of your children.
  • Order. After the child has played on the swing, it must be removed. Stay close to him while he rides.
  • Swing elements should not be hazardous. Hands and feet should not get tangled or stuck in them.
  • Workmanship. The entire surface of the swing should be smooth - sand it the best way and free from knots.

Before you start manufacturing, you need to decide on the space where the swing will be located and prepare all the materials necessary for this.

Materials that we will need to make the riding device:

  • Plywood (board) with dimensions 400x400 mm for making a seat.
  • Boundary strips with dimensions 400x65x20 mm 5 pcs.
  • Copper tubes 4 things. with a diameter of 20 mm: two 65 mm long and 2 125 mm long.
  • Rope 6 m long.

Manufacturing process:

  • The seat board and slats must first be processed with a plane. Sharp and protruding parts must be removed.
  • We drill holes in the 4 corners of the seat at a distance of 40 mm from the edges. The diameter of the holes should be 6-10 mm. The limiter strips also need to be drilled with the same distance to the edges. Let us remind you that there are only 5 of them: 2 go to the back, 2 to the sides and 1 to the front.
  • We assemble the entire structure. To do this, we insert the rope through all the holes and secure it with reliable knots.
  • We hang the swing and paint it.

The swing for the house is ready.

Child safety rules

Below are a few rules to keep your child safe while riding:

  • If the swing design involves one suspension point, then the fastenings of its elements must be made in such a way that the rope or chain does not twist during the swing process.
  • If a chain is used as hanging components, it should be covered. Unnecessary garden hoses can come to the rescue. This is necessary to prevent the child’s fingers from getting caught in the chain.
  • Placing two swinging devices on the frame is not permitted. In this case, collisions between children when swinging are possible.
  • Secure the landing area. Cut bark or sand will soften the blows of possible falls.
  • Make sitting easy. Plastic, rubber or wood are suitable for this.
  • The seat should have springy qualities. Sides covered with rubber are a completely acceptable option. This should protect children from impacts from the swing.
  • There should be no plants within the perimeter of the landing area that could harm the child.
  • Carefully process all wooden components with a plane, sand and apply varnish to them. This will prevent children from getting splinters and scratches.
  • Drive all protruding parts in the form of bolts and nails, as well as other metal parts, into the wood.
  • Among the safer swing designs, L- and A-shapes stand out. This is due to the fact that in this case the load on the structure is less than with other forms. The greater the distance between the vertical supports, the more reliable the structure and the less wear on parts when using the swing.
  • Hanging swing carabiners tend to wear out quickly - they need to be changed once a year. Use carabiners with plastic inserts, so they will be reliably protected from wear.
  • Do not use hooks instead of carabiners. During active rocking, they can break and the child will suffer.
  • It is better to lubricate the place where the rope and the fastening unit come into contact machine oil. This will increase its service life.
  • The location of children's swing options must meet safety requirements. These should be places outside of any vertical barriers: walls, fences, trees and all kinds of buildings. If there is strong swinging, there is a high risk of injury to the child. Additionally, inspect the surrounding area for the presence of sharp and cutting elements– they shouldn’t exist.

DIY garden swing at the dacha can be made from scrap materials using photo or diagrams from the Internet. Construction will require time and skills from the master, but the result will delight children, family and guests. In addition, a ready-made factory swing will cost three times more. When starting to choose a model for a future design, listen to the wishes of your household and involve them in the creation process.

Where to start?

Builders advise starting the construction of a structure by choosing its location. At the dacha, it is installed in a resting place, so that it does not interfere and has enough space for swinging. In the case when summer cottage there is little space for installation, they are considering landscaping street area. If you plan to install a permanent structure, you will need a concrete foundation for installation. If the rocking chair is portable, you will need reliable fasteners. They use pins that are driven into the ground and the legs are attached to them. Mobile swings can be mounted on hanging hooks, in which case they can be easily transported from home to garden by securing them to a suitable support.

How to determine size?

Its size depends on the category for which the structure is intended. Depending on your preferences and family conditions, the swing may be for adults. They are made in the form of a comfortable bench or rocking sofa, equipped with a canopy, and decorated soft pillows. The older generation guests swayed slightly in comfortable sofa They will be happy to have a conversation over a cup of tea.

Children's swings are made small and reinforced with straps, providing for a large swing amplitude. In this option, the main thing is safety. Therefore, during construction, sharp corners are removed and the surface is made as smooth as possible. For children's model important element is the color scheme and seating comfort. It is painted in different colors, involving the child in this activity.

The structure for the whole family is large in size. It is designed for mom, baby and dad to ride at the same time. Its weight is calculated at 250 kg and above. The supports are made solid, dug into the ground and filled with concrete. The structure is intended for year-round use, so it is painted, equipped with a roof and not decorated with textile elements. Small pillows or blankets are laid down immediately before use.

On a note. The canopy not only protects riders from rain or scorching sun, but also protects the structure from fading and corrosion.

Common types of country swings

You can adapt materials for skating that have already been used, but are still quite durable. For example, car tire, construction pallets, canvas fabric, old skateboard or wooden box. They buy chains and fasteners, carabiners or hooks and hang them in the garden on a strong branch. Using building and available materials, the following types of swings are made:

Singles consist of a seat and suspensions that are attached to a support. Their weight and size are designed for children.

Hammocks belong to portable types. They are a comfortable hammock that can be hung with one or two hangers from any crossbar. It is in the spirit of those who like to read it in the fresh air. For production, strong fabrics and strong ropes, as well as carabiners, are selected. The durable hammock can support the weight of an adult man.

Sun loungers- These are frame models, shaped like a lounger floating in the air. Used as supports metal carcass. This model is complex in execution; it is easier to buy it in a store and assemble it on site.

Hanging come in different modifications, widths and lengths. The common feature is a seat with chains attached to the side.

Advice. For a homemade country swing, it is not necessary to build strong supports. Most often they are hung on a suitable branch garden tree. But it is safer to install poles with a fixed crossbar.

Step-by-step instructions for creating a hanging wooden model

To make a swing for big company, use the design diagram in the form of a hanging bench with a backrest. The main material is high-quality inexpensive wood. To create the model, boards and beams are purchased from a hardware store; they also buy bolts, hooks and chains for attaching the bench to the support. The master selects the dimensions at his discretion, choosing a comfortable backrest height, seat width, and bench length.

Required Tools

A standard set of woodworking tools will be useful for the job:

  • jigsaw and a circular saw for sawing boards;
  • drill for preparing holes at the joints of parts;
  • screwdriver for tightening fasteners;
  • plane and sander to remove uneven surfaces of wood;
  • marker (a slate pencil will do);
  • construction corner or long ruler;
  • building level for level installation of supports.

Basic materials

Main construction material- soft but durable wood. For example, spruce or pine. Excellent quality characteristics Birch lumber is durable and inexpensive. For construction you will need 15 beams 2.5 m long (25 mm by 100 mm), 1 crossbar 2.5 m long (50 mm by 150 mm), glued slats 1.5 - 2 m long.

Additional materials:

  • Galvanized screws (with rings for fastenings) 2 pairs;
  • Wood screws No. 3.5 and No. 5 – 200 pcs;
  • Chain from 5 m (length selected according to the dimensions of the structure)
  • Fastening carabiners – 6 pcs;
  • Varnish, wax, stain for applying a protective layer 3 l;
  • Flat brushes for painting – 2 pcs.

Sequencing

First, make a bench for sitting. Having determined its length (from one and a half meters), boards are prepared the right size and drill holes in them for fastenings. According to the diagram, the frame is assembled and the slats are attached to it, equipping the back and seat. If you have sufficient carpentry skills, make a seat with a shaped back by cutting out the parts according to a template. Armrests are attached to the finished seat (one side to the back, the other to the seat). All parts are cut exactly to size, given a shaped shape and polished. The finished rocking chair is varnished in several layers, allowing each layer to dry. Then screws with rings are attached to the lower side of the armrest on the left and right and chains with carabiners at the ends are inserted into them. A cozy bench for friends is ready. It is hung from a strong tree and rolled around.

Instructions for creating a metal model

The metal construction is durable and reliable. To create it, you will need special skills in welding, cutting metal, and mixing concrete. Metal model has a long service life, meets safety requirements and can withstand weights of up to 250 kg. In order to assemble it you will need the following materials:

  • hollow metal pipe with a diameter of 50 m and a total length of 12.5 m;
  • rod reinforcement with a diameter of 18 mm and a length of 8 m;
  • pine board 5 m (50 mm by 20 mm);
  • metal screws, bolts, nuts,
  • concrete (water, cement, sand and crushed stone);
  • enamel paint 3 l and flat brushes.

To cut, weld and strengthen pipes you will need the following tools:

  • Bulgarian;
  • file and sandpaper;
  • welding machine;
  • bath for mixing concrete mixture;
  • shovel and bayonet.

Procedure

Metal swings are made stationary. Therefore, a place for them is carefully selected. Having cut the pipes for support according to the selected drawing (for example, side posts and a crossbar of 2 m each and pipes for the base of a suitable size), they are welded and the joints are ground.

The finished structure is dug into the ground at least 70 cm. To do this, dig 4 holes, place the swing legs there and fill them with concrete. To make it, mix cement and sand one to two, adding one part of crushed stone. Having stirred the mixture well, pour water into it and knead the mixture to the thickness of sour cream. Pouring the homogeneous mixture into the pits, it is allowed to harden for 7 days. When the support becomes stable, hooks are welded to the crossbar to which the seat will be attached. It is assembled from reinforcement. Welding the frame for the base convenient sizes, attaching two handrails to it. Their ends are bent into the shape of rings and hung on hooks at the top of the beam. For seating, prepare boards according to the size of the base and attach them with self-tapping screws.

Note: the edges of the boards must be free of knots and torn edges. They are sanded and coated with a protective layer of varnish or paint.

Conclusion

When installing a swing at a summer cottage, they select a convenient and safe place. There should be no debris, broken glass, or wire protruding from the ground nearby. The structure itself and the area under it are made comfortable for riding, and take into account the possibility of falling. That is, if a child jumps carelessly, he will rest his feet on the green lawn or sand, and not on concrete screed. The safety of the child comes first and decorative look facilities and its sports and gaming area on the second.
